Rockhatter Anmeldelser

This outfit is just one in a number of thousands and thousands of scam sites overseas outside of the strong arm of US Law. I learned many years ago don't buy any clothes hats shoes any of it on the Internet most likely 99% is coming from a third world sweatshop This is an example of where Amazon or any other online purchaser is not a good call. Close in particular I would say old school go to the stores. That's if there's any left before they all collapse. This product is junk. I warmed my sister not to buy one but she got suckered in by the fake pictures Which is human nature to associate the picture with the product. After this experience she agrees that she won't buy any kind of clothes except maybe socks underwear things like that online. A hat is a very personal item it's got to fit correctly the style has to be right the material all of it you're better off going to a vintage hat place and holding it wearing it looking at it feeling it. Online is a landmine

Recived the damaged hat in a plastic BAG....crushed and unusable.
Contacted the company within 24 hours and provided pictures.
Only offered a discount, to keep a hat that is totally unusable.
No offer to replace the hat, and only qualify for a full refund if I ship the product back to CHINA.... AT MY EXPENSE!
Totally unacceptable for something that was not my fault.
This company and site is a total scam.
Beware

I REALLY wish I would have read the reviews first. So far my experience has been HORRIBLE!!! It took three weeks to receive my order and it was WRONG! A totally different hat than I ordered. That was the first issue. It was advertised to be shipped in a box or I never would have ordered it. It was not! It was just in a poly bag and the hat that was sent was completely mangled since it had no protection. It is also VERY flimsy. I immediately contacted customer service and described the problems. They responded and said they’d get back to me in 48 hours. It’s been 4 days so far. If I am unable to obtain a refund from them I will attempt to get my money back from PayPal. Do NOT order from this company! They are a SCAM!!

THIS JOINT IS A TOATAL CON. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS OUTFIT. THEY DO NOT DELIVER ITEMS

These hats are junk and do not look at all like the pictures. It appears like the photos were stolen from someone else. Buyer beware. Tried to get a refund and they wanted me to pay postage back to Vietnam or wherever they are. Bu

Fooled like everyone else...CHEAP hat, stiff, poor quality felt, and I ordered a 2XL, and it barely qualifies as a medium.

I forgot due diligence of checking Rockhatter reviews. LIke many others, my hat arrived today and it is piece of crap. Cheap, flimsy, I can’t imagine wearing it in public.

The hat finally arrived, USPS, about month after ordering.
The formed hat was in a thin plastic bag and the hat was crushed. It looks cheap, it feels cheap and fits cheap.
Sender address was on the bag USPS Bag;
Antonio Garcia
1066 Metropolitan Ave.
Bookiyln New York. 11211
This is not the hat that is presented in ads on Fox News website. I do not recommend anyone to use this vendor.

Took almost 2 months to receive. Probably because they are made in China--not Mexico or Equador as implied.
The quality is extremely cheap...They arrived with both hats in a plastic bag!

Would NOT recommend these hats.

DO NOT BUY FROM ROCK HATTER. Product is cheap costume crap. Wrong color and style. Took 4 weeks to recieve. Spent $64, which included shipping fees for a piece of crap that came in a bag, not a box. After seeing reviews abt poor return policy & no refunds, im not gonna bother to try. Live & learn. Do not buy frm rock hatter.

I was going to make a $55 purchase from their site but the advertised promo code was not working. When I reached out to customer service about it, I got this response:
"Dear Zack,
Hello, I'll be glad to assist you today!
We suggest you place the order first. After placing an order, you can contact us again to refund the discounted money.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.

Best regards,
Marina"
So they are false advertising, and then their solution is to say, just buy it and hope that we will give you a discount refund afterwards? This screams scam and I am so glad I didn't actually purchase anything, especially after seeing the other reviews. Buyers beware.

Rockhatter advertises inexpensive versions of classic western hats. They advertise as shipped in individual boxes. We received a felt & a straw hat that looked like they were the type sold at the dollar store. The advertised pictures looked like Stetsons!
They came crushed together in one bag.
Obviously we reached out to customer service. They offered only s partial refund. We then reached out to PayPal to file a dispute. PayPal said because the company offered a full refund IF we sent them back at our own expense ($50 USD) that we did not have grounds for dispute. We went back to RockHatter customer service & said we'd at least take the 40% discount they offered. They denied us, saying that was a limited time offer that ended when we filed a dispute claim with PayPal. So we ended out $100 & had two pieces of crap to throw in the garbage. I can't be strong enough in my warning: DO NOT DO "BUSINESS" WITH ROCKHATTER!

Rockhatter is a total ripoff. I ordered the Ecuador straw Panama Hat and after waiting for ever and a day, I finally got their version of what I had ordered. It arrived in a plastic bag, not a box, like any reputable hat store would ship a hat in. It arrived squashed beyond reshaping, constructed of very cheap material. Rockhatter claimed it was hand made in Mexico, Mexico wouldn’t sell garbage like this. The seller’s name is Danny Chang of New York and it fits as only the Chinese would manufacture and sell something of this low of quality. This guy belongs behind bars. warning! Buy nothing from Rockhatter.

Do not buy from this group. Total fraud. Why they can still advertise is beyond me me. Total rip offs.

Terrible product. Claims made in us but comes from overseas. Arrives damaged in bags not hat box. Material is cheap felt not beaver. Took 6 weeks to receive and were significantly damaged. Does not respond to return requests.

We ordered a hat based on the Fox News advertisement for this site. Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming Fox. It was an ad. They were paid to run it. I paid $69.00 for the hat. It arrived 3 weeks later. It was not shipped in a box as advertised, which wouldn't have mattered since it is a Halloween costume hat. I'm serious. Found the EXACT hat on Amazon for $17.99. Cheap felt, looks NOTHING like the photo, is 'one-size-fits-all' rather than the size ordered, and is falling apart right out of the plastic bag in which it was sent. So, one might think, "Lesson learned" regarding ordering on the internet, but I'm that annoyed. I filed a complaint with the FTC, Fox News, American Express, and anyone else I could think of. This aggression will not stand!!

The quality of the hat was as low as it could be. It arrived in a bag, not a box, and was wrinkled and dented. The bag was thrown away and trying to return the junk, their customer service wanted the original packaging and all the labels on it. They would not allow me to return the hat for a refund. I will never purchase from them again.

This is a Chinese scam. Delivery takes forever. Hat was shipped in a plastic bag and was smashed. Very cheap construction maybe appropriate as a prop for a local theater group. Return is impossible. Took about a month and a half to get a 40% refund and keep a hat which went straight in the trash.

OMG they charged me for a real hat and sent me what seemed to be a kids birthday cowboy hat Please stay away from this company . I was shocked !Having purchased cowboy Hats from other companies for years

I ordered a Cowboy hat ! And got a Hillbilly want to be hat ! What do you expect from false advertisement. Apparently from Colorado ,but made in Taiwan. Lorenzo Tomas you suck !
