AI generated site I would think. Direct from China and nowhere near Texas or wherever it is they claim to be selling from. I did a google search for western hats one day & the next these hat sales companies, including Lonestarhatter.com, started popping up in FB feed.
Made inChina no doubt and as others have indicated, these buggers send you whatever they want to send you, minus every feature the hat you thought u were buying was supposed to have.
Justgo to a Tack Shop/Western Shop near you and you will fnd probably a number of affordable cowboy hats. Dont let these chinese guys swindle you.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS. THEY CLAIM ALL HATS MADE IN U.S.A. AND IN BOXES. PAID ALMOST $60 WITH SHIPPING FOR A HAT THEY SENT IN A PLASTIC BAG THAT WAS CRUSHED. MADE IN CHINA,AND LOOKS LIKE A $5 COSTUME HAT YOU WOULD BUY AT A FIVE AND DIME STORE. LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE HAT I ORDERED. NEVER BUY FROM THEM THEY ARE BIG TIME SCAMMERS AND ZUCKERBERG ALLOWS THE ADVERTISE ON FACEBOOK BECAUSE THEY KICKBACK BIG BUCKS TO HIM.

Ugly Hat is a crooked company. They will switch what you ordered, ship a cheaply made hat in an envelope. A month later, your hat arrives, if you are lucky, and customer service just puts you off. If I could give a 0 star I would have.

I’m echoing the same view of this Bulls$@t company. Complete garbage merchandise. Their site claims 100% satisfaction or a complete refund. BS… Hat didn’t look anything like what showed online and didn’t refund one penny. It’s a completely incompetent website. Maybe in the future after they complete their GED they’ll figure out how honor what is stated on thier website. A complete failure by these idiots!!!!!

It is a scam! I received a crumpled up hat that is unwearable and had nothing to do with what I ordered at all. Complete trash.

Ordered 2 hats that took over 30 days to deliver.... when I got the hats they were NOT the hats I had ordered. I met the refund requirements and received an emails , suggesting they did me a favor because of meeting a delivery deadline. They said they would create a refund ticket as it's be over 20 days an I haven't herd from anyone. Because I am a fashion type guy I can easily sale the hats, but plz understand this company as you see rates in the one star category ALWAYS, my suggestion to you is skip the headache DON'T EVEN DEAL WITH THEE SCRUBS

I ordered (2) different hats from this company & what they sent was nothing like what I ordered. They sent me felt hats with twine tied around the middle. Very cheap & nothing like anything they have pictured! You need to email them to request a refund, which I did. They told me these were of better value (they are not!). I replied I don't want them & then they offered me a 20% refund. Anything to get me to kerp them. I Wouk not place an order with this company again. Definitely false advertising.

Wrong hat wrong color looked like a 7 year old made it in a sweat shop. I was pulled in by the Tictoc videos (my fault) but DO NOT BUY. Came out of Hong Kong took weeks and I could have got the same quality from a Oklahoma city fair

Do not buy anything from this company. It is the biggest scam going. The product ships from Hong Kong and takes three weeks to arrive. Then upon arrival you will get an item that is smashed and looks nothing like what you ordered, then customer service will go shoot, and you will never hear from them again September 10, 2025

This was the worst perches I have ever made. The hat they sent me was no where near what I ordered. I ordered size 7/78 they sent a hat about size 6&1/2. Not even close to the stile I ordered. And of course no response to a refund. I can't even give it away, What a piece of junk?

There is a reason they call themselves ugly-hat. They are the ugliest, cheapest, garbage one could barely call at hat.
Their website is a definite con job using great pictures of beautiful hats and many “suggestions” that are intentionally misleading, Like the picture of a fella in a western style hat racing about his “American” hat.
I ordered a Ronnie Van Zant and an Angel Eyes Lee Van Cleef hat . What I received was the same generic hat made of a crappy piece of thin semi pressed black felt and different only by cheap hat bands.
I made several attempts to contact the company using the information on their website directing any communication through their listed support email - which evidently does not even exist.

No customer service at all and no way to return garbage or request a refund.
I would gladly send this crap back if they provide a prepaid shipping label because it is NOT even worth the cost of return shipping. I would only lose more money on their scam.

I have reported this to my credit card company and requested a refund plus cancelled that card because this crooked company based out of Hong Kong may also try to commit further crimes besides false advertising, misrepresenting their products and services.

Do NOT fall for their con job regardless how they word anything on their website.
