I rented an automatic Baleno for a month. Received the car on a Monday evening and the remote control stopped working on the same day. Two days later, the petrol indicator showed false alarms. On Saturday evening, the technician visited to fix both. The following Monday morning, the car and the remote control stopped working again. The technicians visited, claimed that the car would work in 20 mins, then changed their stance and promised to come back and change the battery, then called five minutes after leaving saying that would not be possible due to "heavy traffic". The customer support manager yelled back on call saying that the car is reliable.
This is an absolutely pathetic service. I hope no one ever falls for this trap again.

Worst experience ever I.
tried to use this multiple times, all the times I had issues.
1. Once i booked a 7 seater and they delivered a 5 seater. We had to cancel the trip and lost the full hotel booking amount. 2. They cancelled the booking of Swift without any notification and no response from customer care.
3. When there is high demand they will cancel your booking randomly and ask you to pay higher amount.

I have booked revv car recently and from the time of delivery to pick up, I had a worst experience.
They will make you to pay more than the booking amount by adding extra charges in the final invoice and you won't event get your advance amount. Customer care team will start sending you threatened messages if you delay payment. Car was in worst condition and will go off in first gear.

I have booked a Revv car in Hyderabad. The pick-up, drop off process has been smooth and seamless. Even though the car was bit old and all the signs like dents, scratches there was no issue with the performance. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again through Revv, if needed.

The refund process was also smooth and money just returned in time automatically.

The service levels awfully fall short of the service support claims made by the Company/Executives. Moreover, the staff is least helpful and do not revert with details despite multiple calls to them. They are stubborn and do not listen to the customers.

We made a reservation for 7 seat vehicle for a month. One day before the delivery of the vehicle the REVV called and informed that they are not able to deliver the vehicle. Instead they offered 5 seat vehicle at a much higher price. Due to time constraints accepted and all terms and special conditions were never explained to us before we signed the contract and paid the full amount. Upon which they listed out special conditions as limit in the mileage, additional cost for extra mileage and did not offer us to buy extra mileage in advance for less price (which we came to know at the time of final settlement).
They had provided a vehicle where the insurance was expiring in the middle of the contract. We were stopped at the checkpoint and had to bribe the officer to let the vehicle go.
When we called the Customer Service for renewing and to inform that it is a shortcoming on the company not to review the insurance when expiring and to send a renewed copy.
One of the representative we talked told us it is our duty to renew the insurance and that we must have called the company to renew the insurance.
If I can give a much less rating as minus 0 to minus 10, I would have given them. Do NOT go with them, if you have to be careful and have all information before you pay the advance.

I had a terrible experience with this car rental company. Despite making a reservation in advance, the car was delivered to us 3 hours late, causing significant inconvenience and disruption to our plans for the day. The staff were unprofessional and unapologetic, and couldn't offer a proper explanation for the delay. The compensation provided was peanuts as well.

I would not recommend this car rental company to anyone. Their lack of professionalism, poor service, and subpar vehicles make them a terrible choice for anyone in need of a rental car. Save yourself the hassle and choose a different company that values its customers and provides quality vehicles.

If you think that revv offers a better price compared to similar services (zoom car) then please read this review before booking your order. They have poorly described policies for customer rights - any fault from customer side is charged, but absolutely no policies when the fault lies with the company. Ex. When car is returned late by customer, penalty of ₹50 per 15minutes; but no such penalties when the company delivers the car late. I say this because the car was delivered late to us by 1 hour, and pick-up was delayed by 15 minutes. They charge exorbitantly if free mileage is slightly exceeded (20km charged us ₹200) or for small fuel difference (1 bar charged more than ₹500). After all this, the cars they provide are poorly maintained. In our case the brake fluid was low (very dangerous) and suspension arm bushing damaged.

Would rather recommended buying a car and paying the emi, terrible service and the only time they actually respond promptly is when a payment is due. They're scamming customers by falsely advertising that the vehicles can be returned anytime, but when you actually want to end the subscription they charge one whole months rental charge as cancellation which is an annexure they've cleverly added in the agreement forms we sign.

I registered with revv from London and uploaded my UK licence, they accepted my licence and allowed me to book a car. I booked a car to use in Chennai and paid INR 16,000. When I reached Chennai airport and was waiting, car came after one hour (after making so many calls). Driver checked my UK licence and said that they can't give the car to me.
I told him to refund the money. He called the customer care and was talking for more than an hour. Then, they cancelled my booking and deducted INR 5,500 for nothing. I received my refund after 10 days. I realised that they are absolutely cheating. Kindly avoid this company, don't ever try this people. Frauds!

It seems that Revv is a cheat company. They earn in form of undue penalties. Horrible experience. Do not fall trap of renting a car with Prime mover mobilty known as Revv

They remotely disabled my car in the middle of a busy road because the payment was delayed due to technical issues. This was a massive safety issue as i was stuck in the middle of the road with a disabled car.
On returning, they pointed out fake dents and scratches which existed prior. They refused to compare to previous pictures to verify the condition of the vehicle.

Trust issues. Dishonesty and absolutely no interest in understanding/supporting customers.
1. Booked a Creta AT Diesel as I needed it for a long drive across states. Called repeatedly and was promised the same or alternative SUV if not possible on date.
2. They surreptitiously changed the car make and model to a Verna 4 hours before delivery.
3. When called they made up stories on unavailability of car due to various reasons (multiple reasons by different people). Offered me a Santro or a Ciaz both not SUV and not suitable for longer drives.
4. Ended up with an old dumpy Ciaz that shot up my petrol bills in the end and made my drive a horrible experience.
5. Also they DONT INFORM you but Deliver Taxi/Yellow plate vehicles. So as a taxi driver you are harassed across RTO check posts, at a number of places etc. You are forced to pay RTO Road Tax too.

Read their policy before making a booking not after as there will be hidden charges and stuff

You cannot do a thing at the time of delivery so you are forced to take such vehicles, completely shattering your dream holiday. They only say 'sorry' but no compensation is given for poor vehicle replacement and hidden info (about taxis) and expect you to keep continuing with their shoddy service.

Except for the price they offered me as a new user when I booked I didn't find anything better with Revv over other self drive options. And the way they completely ignored my sentiments and my requests after booking has broken my heart. They simply didnt bother once they got their money.

Please do not take their service under no circumstance even if you were stranded.
I had the most horrible experience in Mangalore, India when i hired their service in June 2022 when i had to go for medical reasons. The partner company who they were working with gave me a faulty key. I got stranded in the middle of nowhere and had to call for help. There was a car showroom nearby and i informed the concerned person who was the point of co-ordination for the car from Revv that the faulty key they gave when turned into the ignition had broken.Never in my life had i ever come across driving a car and a key would break like that. Who would ever want to break a key, get stranded in the middle of nowhere. The concerned individual from Revv when was told that i would get a key made so i as a woman can immediately leave the place and get to the destination, flatly refused and said they were coming to where i was and hand me a substitute key. I waited for a long time following up and finally when they arrived i handed over the broken key. Firstly before handing over the car, they should have made sure the key was ok before handing it to the customer. We do not know the possibilities of mishap that could occur with a key breaking like that in the middle of the road, Look at the risk they have put the customer into. No customer ever inspects a key, i mean i never ever done that in my life. Is the key so malleable that it can just twist inside an ignition and break. How is it that this was not taken care of by Revv? It is imaginably impossible for a customer to know that the key might break or is damaged in the first place. Not only did they openly ignored it, refused to address it or account for it at all means at all, but blamed the customer for breaking the key and charged a hefty penalty to reimburse them. Let me also tell you i was driving a manual gear box car and the key was not a sophisticated key that required high tech technology.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES, ALLOW THEIR SERVICES FOR WOMEN WHO ARE AT THE HANDS OF UNVETTED PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS WHO THEY DEAL WITH WITHOUT THOROUGH DUE DILIGENCE AND WHO HAVE OPENLY CHEATED CUSTOMERS AND ALSO PUT THEIR LIFE IN DANGER ON UNKNOWN ROADS TRAVELLING INTERSTATE OR WITHIN THE COUNTRY.
I would strongly advise all women, families and tourists do not take their services and be very careful to know who they are dealing with. REVV IS INCONTESTABLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGE IT HAS CAUSED AND CONTINUE TO REMAIN AS A MEMORY ETCHED FOR NEVER EVER CHOOSING THEM AS A BRAND OR A SERVICE.

NOT ONLY DID I PAY FOR THE KEY BUT I REALISED I COULD HAVE FIXED IT WITH THE NEARBY SHOWROOM EVEN IF THEY REFUSED. HONESTY IS NEVER THE BEST POLICY WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY FLATLY REFUSED TO UNDERSTAND THE MATTER AT HAND AND BLAMED THE CUSTOMER WHEN IT SHOULD BE TACKLED WITH MORE ACCOUNTABILITY AND INTEGRITY.

PLEASE DO NOT EVER USE THEIR SERVICES FOR SECURITY REASONS AND FOR EVIDENTLY HAVING A CLEAR PRIOR INTENTION TO BE MALICIOUS.

Refund process is too slow

I booked subscription for revv cars. Delivery, car condition and the process is good. But their policies are questionable. They charge you for the insurance and later they charge you directly, upto 10k for any damages. No where is it mentioned that the decision to available insurance is theirs - they would tell you this only after paying the entire amount. The contract is sent to you after paying the entire amount. If you decide not to go ahead with the booking after reading the contract you end up paying 5k for cancellation. They charge below 10 k to almost everyone who has their subscription based car. Check the reviews. Would recommend zoom over revv.

I’m happy with the service and deal I got from the company. This was the first time I’ve booked a self drive car and everything was transparent between company and customer. I forgot to carry my documents for verification that was clearly mentioned in the policy section and booking confirmation mail but after speaking with support team helped me get what I was looking for. I would highly recommend everyone in my group and through this review to book Revv for self drive cars service without any doubt.
