Pathetic service by Revv! First, they delivered an XUV700 instead of our booked Thar, switching it only after 6 days. Worse, they remotely locked the car at 9 PM while we were on the road with family and kids, giving zero intimation or calls about the due date. Stranded in a basement late at night, support refused to help unless we paid extra daily rates. We abandoned the car and took a cab. Injudicious, unsafe, and horrible!

If you want a broken car that has a worthless warranty, dishonest salesmen that tell you what they think you want to her. Then buy a car from Revv Auto. This has bee the worse car I have ever had. 1. They acted like they gave me a great deal, but they just charged me full price.2. 8 days after I had the car the check engine light came on $2,300 later I had a new catalytic converter and O2 censor. I will say they did say they would fix the car if I paid for the parts, but I had to come up with $1,000 after just gave them cash for the car pad in full. Then a few weeks after I got the car back the check engine light came on again. This time $2,550. I just got my car back today another catalytic converter and this time a battery censor. The tag expired on 8/5/26. When I reached out to them they said call the DMV. The DMV said they only got the information a few days ago. What the hell???? Never again Never EVER again. Do not trust these fools because they will take your money knowing thy are selling broken cars that they just picked up from the auction without even checking to see if they are good cars.

I had an absolutely worst experience with Revv.
​Three weeks prior to my trip, I booked an Alcazar paying 5k advance, I repeatedly followed up for the vehicle details, but they failed to provide them, claiming they have a large fleet and would assign the car a day before pickup.
​When I arrived at the airport, the car delivered to me was in horrible condition—it had a severe gearbox issue and multiple body dents. For safety reasons, I refused to accept it. My family and I were then left stranded at the airport for 4 hours trying to reach Revv support to get a replacement, but they completely ignored our calls. Ultimately, I had to hire a taxi to reach my destination.
​To make matters worse, 5 to 6 hours later, a Revv agent called me—not to apologize or resolve the issue, but to demand the remaining payment of ₹42,000. Even after explaining that I refused the defective vehicle and tried contacting them for hours, the agent still insisted I pay!
​They are still calling me to demand payment for a car I never accepted or drove. Unbelievable negligence, zero customer support, and shocking audacity. I strongly advise everyone to avoid Revv services.

Our car broke down they really did not care for it and all our days got wasted.
Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. The service was completely unacceptable from start to finish. The staff was unprofessional, unhelpful, and showed no concern for customers. There was a lack of communication, unnecessary delays, and the overall experience was extremely frustrating.

I expected basic courtesy and quality service, but received neither. It felt like customer satisfaction was not a priority at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will never return. There are far better options available that actually value their customers.

Public Complaint Against Revv Self Drive Car Rental – Gross Deficiency in Service and Complete Disregard for Customers

This is a public warning based on my personal experience with Revv Self Drive Car Rental.

I booked a Toyota Hycross for 25–27 July 2026 through Revv's official website after consulting and confirming the booking with their customer support executive. I paid ₹4,500 as the booking amount, and Revv confirmed delivery of the vehicle to my residence at 1000 hrs on 25 July 2026 for our long-planned family road trip from Bengaluru to Ooty.

What followed was nothing short of shocking.

At 1000 hrs, there was no vehicle. There was no phone call. No message. No email. No apology. My family, including my children, waited with our luggage packed, excited to begin our vacation.

Only after I called Revv at around 1030 hrs, having already waited over thirty minutes, was I informed that the vehicle had reportedly suffered a mechanical failure and that my booking had been cancelled. Revv had already decided to uniliterally cancel the booking but made absolutely no effort to inform me beforehand.

This is not merely poor customer service—it demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism, accountability and respect for customers. Accepting a confirmed booking, taking advance payment and then abandoning the customer without any prior intimation is simply unacceptable.

Because of Revv's failure, my family's vacation was thrown into complete chaos. Instead of beginning our journey as planned, I was forced into a desperate last-minute search for an alternative vehicle. After considerable effort, I managed to secure a self-drive vehicle from IndusGo, personally travelling to their yard to collect it.

As a direct consequence of Revv's negligence, our departure was delayed by over four and a half hours, and we could only leave at 1430 hrs instead of 1000 hrs.

We lost the opportunity to drive through the beautiful Masinagudi route during daylight—one of the most memorable parts of the journey. We eventually reached Ooty only at around 2330 hrs, exhausted, hungry and after regular dinner hours had ended. Instead of enjoying the first evening of our family holiday, we were left searching for food late at night. The delayed arrival also disrupted our itinerary for the following day.

No refund or apology can restore the lost time, the shattered excitement of my children, or the emotional distress and frustration that my family endured because of Revv's utter failure to honour its commitment.

Companies that accept customers' money must also accept responsibility. Mechanical problems may occur, but abandoning customers without even informing them is inexcusable. The least Revv could have done was immediately notify us, apologise and proactively assist in arranging an alternative vehicle. They did none of these.

I intend to pursue appropriate legal remedies before the Consumer Commission for deficiency in service, mental harassment, breach of contractual obligations and the losses caused by Revv's conduct. Companies cannot be permitted to treat customers' confirmed bookings as disposable while expecting customers to simply accept the consequences.

On the other hand, I wish to acknowledge IndusGo, whose prompt response, professionalism and dependable service rescued our family vacation when Revv failed us completely.

To anyone planning an important family holiday, business trip or any time-sensitive journey: think twice before depending on Revv. My experience raises serious concerns about their reliability, customer communication and commitment to honouring confirmed bookings. A vacation planned over weeks can be ruined in a matter of minutes by a company that fails to keep its promises.

Had booked a self drive car at New Jalpaiguri for 4 days at Rs 16800 with the assurance of a new Baleno. Rev doesn't give any contact of driver till last moment. This rules out customers asking for actual pictures of Car from rev. We cot a car right from garrage, dented , old , full patch work and making sound. Later we realised that the brakes were less especially when we were driving at hill stations. Our entire trip was full of tension and had to cut short the trip as we could descend from Darjiling only on first gear . One full day was spoilt because of poor car quality. Also spent an additional 4000 rs to replace a faulty battery from my pocket ending up paying more than rs 20000 for a 4 day trip.

I do not recommend Revv Car Rental based on my experience.
Once the payment is made, getting proper customer support becomes extremely difficult. I booked a Mahidra Taar expecting a comfortable experience, but unfortunately, the car was not comfortable at all, especially for my family.
I contacted customer service several times requesting a change of vehicle because my family was struggling with the comfort of the car. Every time, I was told that someone would call me back, but I did not receive any proper callback or solution.
They also charge for deep cleaning, but the car I received was dirty, unhygienic, and clearly not properly cleaned before delivery.
Overall, I am very disappointed with the poor customer service, lack of support, cleanliness, and the overall rental experience.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Revv Car Rental to anyone. Please be careful before making full payment and confirm all vehicle and support arrangements in advance.

I got punctured car & informed the company to replace the car .. initially they assured to send some executives later they didnot respond .. I didnot use car but they didnot refunded the amount paid to them … before handing over car I spoke to the call centre and they assured to refund after examination of car but they simply sent regret letter citing rules etc… great disappointment… horrible experience… since they won’t respond over phone if you write to them by mail they respond without redressing the problem and with a great delay making you helpless

Avoid Revv if you value your time and money.

One of the worst self-drive rental experiences I’ve ever had.

Revv delayed my booked vehicle at the last minute, leaving me stranded at the airport. After multiple calls and a lot of hassle, they provided a different car than the one I had booked and even failed to deliver it to the airport as promised. I had to go elsewhere to collect it.

The replacement car was in terrible condition:

* Noisy brakes
* Broken rear-view mirror
* No windshield washer fluid
* Poor pickup and performance

When I complained, Revv acknowledged the issues and promised compensation after the trip. Their pickup executive, Prithvi, also confirmed that the car had approximately 15% extra fuel and assured me that I would receive a refund.

Now the final invoice has been issued with no compensation, no fuel refund, and no acknowledgement of the inconvenience or poor vehicle condition.

What is most disappointing is not just the bad vehicle, but the false promises made to customers and then conveniently ignored later.

A company that cannot honour its commitments, maintain its vehicles, or provide basic customer service should not be in the car rental business.

Extremely disappointing experience with Revv. I will not be using their service again and would not recommend it to others.

One of the worst experiences ever with Revv.

My friend booked a Santro 2020 model from Revv for a business trip to Kerala. Right from the start, the vehicle was in terrible condition — dirty, poorly maintained, and not even cleaned properly from the outside. Still, he adjusted and continued the journey.

After crossing Mysore and reaching near Billikere (around 20 km away), the tyre got punctured around 8:30 PM. There was absolutely no roadside assistance available. When he tried contacting customer support, they simply said their working hours ended at 7 PM.

Thankfully, I managed to help him find a nearby puncture shop somehow.

That wasn’t the end of it. Local mechanics checked the car and clearly warned that the vehicle had a belt issue and was not suitable for a long-distance drive. For safety reasons, I advised him to return to Bangalore immediately.

He reached Bangalore the next morning and has been continuously trying to contact customer support and the ground team since then. No proper assistance, no clear guidance, and no accountability.

To replace the faulty vehicle, they demanded an additional ₹11,000 for a Swift Dzire upgrade. When he requested them to repair the existing car, they casually said it would take “a maximum of one day.”

On top of that:
- He had already spent extra money to fill the fuel tank.
- Some tyre bolts were loose and had to be replaced at his own expense.
- No compensation or refund was offered for any of this.
- Even after requesting cancellation due to safety concerns, they refused to provide a full refund.

This is extremely unprofessional and honestly feels like a scam. A rental company providing unsafe vehicles and then refusing proper support is unacceptable.

Please avoid using Revv if you value your safety, time, and money.

If you’re thinking about booking a car from Revv, do yourself a favor and don’t. This was easily one of the most frustrating and poorly handled service experiences I’ve ever had.

I booked a Brezza Automatic for a long weekend, paying nearly ₹17,000 just for the rental. What I got in return was a complete breakdown of professionalism, quality, and accountability.

To begin with, the car was delivered 45 minutes late. No proactive update, no apology worth mentioning, just a delayed start to what was supposed to be a planned trip.

But that was just the beginning.

The moment I started driving, the car kept blasting a continuous seat belt warning. I was the only person in the car, and my seat belt was properly fastened. I even plugged in the front passenger belt just to rule things out. The warning wouldn’t stop.

What followed was an absolute circus.

I spent 30 minutes with the delivery executive and support, only to be told I need to fasten all three rear seat belts. That’s absurd on its own, but it gets worse.

The rear seat belt connectors were not even accessible

One was buried deep inside due to poorly fitted seat covers

Another connector was completely missing

The middle seat belt? Removed entirely because of the seat cover

I had to literally dig through the seat, open the boot, and try pulling belts from the back like some kind of mechanic, not a customer who paid premium rental charges.

After another 40 minutes with support, I somehow managed to connect whatever was physically possible. And guess what? The warning still didn’t stop. Because the car itself was in a broken, unfit condition.

At this point, any responsible company would apologize and immediately replace the vehicle.

Not Revv.

Instead, I was told to drive to their warehouse and get it fixed myself. Imagine paying ₹17,000 to become their unpaid service technician.

After nearly 1 hour of arguing, they finally agreed to pick up the car and process a refund. Pickup was scheduled at 12:30 PM.

It’s now 9:45 PM, and:

No one has come to pick up the car

The pickup agent’s number is switched off

Zero updates, zero ownership, zero professionalism

This isn’t just poor service. This is outright negligence.

My peace of mind

All while charging a premium price for a completely unusable vehicle.

If you value your weekend, your sanity, and your money, stay far away from Revv. There are far better alternatives out there that won’t leave you stranded dealing with defective cars and indifferent support.

This experience wasn’t just bad. It was shockingly incompetent from start to finish.

Stay far away from Revv. If you are traveling from overseas, booking with them is a nightmare you don't want to experience.
Despite explicitly confirming with their support team beforehand that I would be using a USA driver's license, they completely flipped the script once I landed. They refused to honor my valid documents and demanded an Indian license, creating an incredibly hostile and aggressive environment.
I spent four miserable hours at the airport being harassed by their staff, only to walk away with no car and a stolen deposit. They are unprofessional, deceptive, and predatory toward international travelers. Do not trust them with your money or your time.

Probably the worst car rental company I've dealt with, such a scam they still owe me my security deposit, not refunded yet even after a booking cancellation.

I had a very frustrating and alarming experience with this car rental provider.

I rented a car (Brezza) for around 15 days and paid approximately ₹60,000–70,000 in full at the time. Everything seemed settled, and there was no mention of any pending dues.

However, after almost 2 weeks of completing the trip and payment, I suddenly received a message claiming that I still have an outstanding due of around ₹10,000 and was asked to pay immediately. The message also mentioned potential legal action if I didn’t clear it.

When I tried to question this, instead of resolving the issue transparently, I felt pressured and uncomfortable with the way it was handled.

This kind of practice feels highly unprofessional and misleading. If all dues were not finalized at the time of closure, it should have been clearly communicated upfront—not weeks later with threats.

I strongly recommend others to be very cautious. Always keep proper records of payments and written confirmations, and double-check everything before closing your booking.

Please stay aware and avoid such stressful experiences.

Absolutely terrible and unsafe experience with Revv.

The vehicle we were given suddenly braked on its own at high speed on a national highway—without any warning or driver input, despite not even having any automatic braking system. This was a serious safety failure that could have caused a major accident.

We had family in the car, and the situation was extremely frightening. We were forced to drive back at 60–70 km/h, constantly worried about our safety.

Because of this, we lost 3 days of our holiday, multiple plans were cancelled, and the entire trip was disrupted.

What’s worse is the lack of accountability—refund delays, no clear answers, and still no proper technical explanation of what went wrong.

This is not just poor service, this is negligence. Completely unacceptable and highly unsafe.

Worst car rental company ever, please if your thinking to rent it her, I would strongly recommend not to.

Worst experience ever ...cancelled booking at last moment without any valid reason ...told at 5AM that they are cancelling my car because they couldn't verify my documents...no thought for how will my travel plans will be affected...won't use this company again

I returned the car with half a litre less petrol than when I received it and I was charged 708/- for it. Ridiculous. Be very careful when you rent from revv. Or don't book from them in the first place.

Dont book any vehicle with revv

Absolutely unacceptable workmanship. I went in for a simple ambient lighting installation and left with a car full of problems that were not there before.

Immediately after collecting the car, the interior touch controls stopped working. I had to return so they could fix their own mistake. Once I arrived home, I discovered the heated passenger seat was no longer functioning — yet another issue caused during their work.

The most serious problem occurred during the drive from Luton to Bristol, when an AdBlue countdown warning appeared. Mercedes later confirmed that a fuse related to the AdBlue system had been removed and not refitted during the installation. Driving the vehicle in this condition caused damage to the engine system.

Although Mercedes helped resolve the issue, I was left with a large repair bill — a cost that would never have existed if this garage had carried out their work properly and performed basic checks before returning the car.

This level of carelessness is unacceptable. A cosmetic upgrade resulted in multiple system failures, major stress, wasted time, and significant financial loss. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before trusting this business with their vehicle.
