I recently purchased the Gold Package water softener and RO system from Renewell, and I’m very satisfied with the experience.
The installation was smooth and professional, with clear explanations provided. The installer even went the extra mile by cutting and adjusting my under-sink shelf to fit the units, which I really appreciated.
The unit quality is excellent, and we’ve already noticed softer water and great-tasting drinking water. The tap also looks amazing and feels very high quality, adding a premium touch.
Overall, a great investment and I would definitely recommend Renewell.

Sales pitch was brilliant when we purchased system.
Supply and fit appeared good.
Problems developed first day.
Poor response in time and reason.
Seems to have solved the problems but no real explanation or follow up .

Great product line , easy to get them to install stuff for you.

I like their WhatsApp support. Using text and video they were able to provide support when I faced a minor discrepancy.
Not immediate response , but better than scheduling a visit and waiting days.

Happy with their product and service - I have a softener system and water filtrarion system .

Extremely dissappointed with the product and the service received from Renewell.

We moved into a new build home in a hard water area in late August 2025. We had a Renewell water softener system installed in September 2025, and had refrained from using any of our new appliances like the washing machine until the system was installed so as to avoid hard water damage.

In October 2025 I called Renewell customer service as the salt levels in the system had not budged at all. Kyle from Renewell assured me this was perfectly normal for a 2 person home using a system equipped to handle a 4-6 person home. I took his word for it on the premise he was the expert.

In March 2026 my wife’s hairdresser informed her that her hair was damaged from hard water. Where possible, we inspected our appliances etc and there was significant limescale damage.

I called Renewell and Kyle arranged for a technician to visit. While on the call, and without any technician analysis, Kyle ordered a replacement part as if he knew what the problem was. I asked Kyle what the steps would be if the system was found to be faulty and he said very amicably to call back after the technician had visited and we could discuss.

Sure enough when the technician came, that part Kyle ordered was exactly the problem. A faulty float. From reading between the lines of Kyle on the call and what the technician said in person, the faulty float is a known issue - perhaps a bad batch.

The technician fixed the issue and the system appears to be working now. As instructed by Kyle, I called back after the technician came.

Kyle’s demeanour and attitude on the call was completely different to the week prior, and was very much a case “oh well, we’ve fixed it now”. I paid over €1,000 to protect my brand new appliances from water damage. Renewell per their website provide a system that gives you “limescale-free water”. See attached photos for proof their system did not work. Simply repairing the system does not resolve the issues caused to my new products by your faulty system. I tried to explain this to Kyle who did not seem to care.

The most frustrating part of all of this was the lack of customer care. I have never left a negative review before for any business, and in an effort to avoid doing so on this occasion I emailed Simon from Renewell on an email address he contacted me on around the time of installation. I allowed a week for Renewell to respond but got nothing.

I will be contacting the Consumer Protection Commission of Ireland to explore a claim under the Liability for Defective Products Act.

Been using their filter from over 5 years. All good , no complaints.

Customer service was attentive and answered my queries service engineer was pleasant and talked me through installation and was very helpful I am very pleased with the service I got

Amazing customer service start to finish. Installed when they said they would, the product is fantastic, water tastes so much better. Would highly recommend.

The service engineer was prompt, efficient and helpful - as always.

Very very surprised.the fitters so clean ,came with socks on the boots.that was ..cool.me self and wife very pedantic,but those guys was the best what i have seen.thank you.

Water filter is perfect and water delicious. Installation fast and left with nicely organised pipes under sink. So kudos for that

Dont like the water filter we got tank too small and pressure from the tap too weak, my parents got one from a different company cheaper and much better tank size and water pressure and replacement filters are cheaper. Wouldn't get it again.

Great product and even better service and installation

I am extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled.

After noticing serious water damage to my wooden kitchen cabinets, I discovered that my Renewell filtration unit was leaking internally. This began after a recent service visit where filters were replaced. The internal container beneath the unit repeatedly filled with water, confirming an ongoing leak.

After multiple complaints, a technician eventually attended and identified the issue as a faulty auto shut-off valve. Despite this, I was told I would have to pay €90 call-out, €30 for the part, and another €90 for installation.

What was most upsetting, however, was the manner in which I was treated in my own home.

The technician was dismissive and repeatedly insisted that because I “own the unit,” any leak is entirely my responsibility. When I tried to explain that the issue began after servicing and had caused property damage, I was interrupted and spoken over.

He made a remark comparing it to “not bringing a car back to the factory if it leaks oil,” which felt sarcastic and belittling.

The tone of the interaction became confrontational and uncomfortable. I genuinely felt uneasy and just wanted the visit to end. No customer should feel intimidated or dismissed when raising a legitimate concern about damage caused by a product.

I am very disappointed by the lack of accountability and the way this matter has been handled.

UPDATE
In their public reply below, Renewell claimed they couldn't find my details in their system. However, they have recently reached out directly to book my annual maintenance service. Their system clearly has my details—they simply chose to ignore the kitchen cabinet damage while continuing to solicit more business. I will not be using them again.
