I ordered the “Persuasion” wig based on the video online and the pictures of a soft brown color, with clear blond highlights. It was an expensive wig, but I decided to go ahead based on the style and color. The wig I received was dark brown, with an overall reddish cast, nothing like the pictures and video. The dark color looked very harsh on me; I reached out to RG and asked to exchange the wig for the correct color as shown in the video. After a lot of back and forth, I was told the color I received IS the color in the video, which is impossible - the wig I received has not ONE blond hair in it!! I know monitors can make colors looks different, but there is no chance that the wig I received is the same color as the advertised wig. I was told no refund, no credit towards a future purchase, no exchange. The misleading video and pictures are STILL on the website. I believe the wig in the video is human hair, and the synthetic wig I received is a cheap China-made knock off. This site is a SCAM. I am contacting PayPal to reverse the charge. BEWARE!!

Terrible company with even worse customer service. They clearly purchase the wigs from a wholesaler and sell them at a more expensive price. The face of the site Amanda Lawrence is also a racist and most of her lives have Trump flags and confederate flags in the background. As a black woman that’s a no-go for me. Hard pass.

Disappointed with processing time and customer service. This site was recommended to me from a support group of ladies losing hair due to medical reasons. The rebel gypsy group seemed supportive and strong.

I ordered A LOT of items, almost every live feed I watched. My wigs and products still haven’t shipped and it’s been past 10 days. I was not aware that it takes 10 business days just to be shipped then additional time to get here. This could be on me, but it was not posted anywhere I could see.

There is no phone number listed to contact them and when emailing a question. I get the same reply about shipping labels and processing time. The replies are graphically jumbled and do not come easy to read.

Some of the items have shipping labels printed (not special orders) but have not yet been shipped. The order numbers on the app say fulfilled, but the website says something different. The one that had shipped took 4 days from printing label to actually be shipped. While this may be a standard practice to some, it does not seem like I am valued as a customer.

When I asked for a refund for shipping on an order the owner cancelled (was listed at wrong price), she issued me an app credit and not funds back to my card. At this point, I don’t want to purchase anything else since it takes so long to get.

I ordered wig roulette twice. The first time was 8 months ago, this time 3 weeks ago. I received the same exact wig. The issue is that I asked during a live if it was wigs currently available. The answer given was yes. This wig wasn't even listed 8 months ago when i received it the first time. And then again months later. It is still not listed as being available for sale. It's kind of shady and annoying as no one wants a wig with a headband twice. Will not be buying again. Definitely switching to ebonyline.

After several requests, I FINALLY received a refund today, Nov. 24th. I updated stars to 3 due to receiving the refund, even though it took SEVERAL REQUESTS to receive it.

I ordered 4 wigs on Sept. 3rd, 2023. To date, on Nov. 21st, I still have NOT received the wigs. I have requested a FULL REFUND in multiple emails. In the responses I have received, NOT ONCE have they acknowledged my refund request. Every response has only said they will check with shipping dept. I no longer want the wigs! I want my money back! It is close to Christmas and I could use the money towards gifts for my 3 sons!

This company is horrible. Unethical, if not illegal, business practices. I ordered 3 wigs. Not even a week after ordering I requested to cancel my order. I was told no that they don't refund or cancel orders that "all sales are final". The wigs hadn't even shipped yet so I fail to see the reasoning behind that policy except to trap people into buying from them. Waited almost 3months for wigs to arrive and I immediately returned them to sender without opening the package. This was 3 weeks ago and I have not received any aof my money back so that's theft and I will be pursuing charges against this company. I have reported it to the BBB, FTC, and the states attorney generals office. She has failed to respond to any of their attempts to reach out and I believe it's because she knows she is in the wrong and is trying to avoid issuing a refund. I have also reported this to my bank and she's ignored their attempts t9 communicate as well. I will be filing charges against this company to get my money that way. Awful company. I do not recommend.

Both wigs I ordered were special order & were not able to fill order, I could not find anything comparable to replace them & was denied a refund. Could only buy merchandise from the website plus was given $25. for each wig. But couldn’t find anything I wanted??

I have made quite a few purchases since finding RG last year and I have never had an issue with any of my items. Shipping may have been longer than I'm used to but I was prepared for that and don't have a panic attack like others do when things take longer than expected. I will continue to purchase as I am able. No complaints from me!

I finally found quality wigs and makeup without spending thousands! When I have questions, I ask in a chat and get prompt responses. I love that they work with sezzle and PayPal, I have 2 kids in college and can't always pay for goods upfront, in full, so this is a huge plus for me. I am a Michigan girl so I also love I'm supporting my Michigan peeps 🙂 Found RG 5 months ago and haven't looked back since. You won't regret using them for your clothing, makeup, hair needs!

I would give zero stars if I could. And, like many others I am sure that the owner of Rebel Gypsy will flag this review for removal. I previously had a VERIFIED review here and it mysteriously disappeared.
For those of you that AL has accused of being me, I’m sorry. I guess I’m omnipotent!

I ordered with a friend who also wanted to try wigs. We waited and waited and finally delivery day arrived! Our wigs were okay, but not how they looked on RG’s website. Then one day we were in a local beauty supply and there was my “special order” wig on a mannequin. I thought AL had these custom colored and cut! And it was not human hair anything. Pure synthetic. And $100 less than I paid RG. That led me to do some investigating and comparisons. RG wigs are not designed by her. They have no human hair in them. They are not specially made for her. And if you believe that a factory will run a line to produce ONE wig, just for little old you; I have a bridge to sell you.
AL spouts a great message. That she clearly doesn’t believe or apply to herself. She could have a truly amazing business if she had a legitimate business. Do your research. Look at her replies here just to start. Is this how a reputable business owner behaves? This is not how retail works! And TP, shame on you for allowing a constant barrage of abuse from this business to her customers.

I found this company in March, via Facebook. Having never worn a wig before, I thought this company was terrific in the way it supported women. As the months have gone on, and I have realized that I can purchase everything from this company somewhere else for less money, and the fact that I do not receive my products within the time frame promised, I wish I could give it zero stars. My last order, placed two months ago, has still not shown up. Up. When I emailed the company and told them that taking my money and not shipping my product was the same as stealing, they sent me a tracking number for somebody else's purchase in another state. Again, if I could give zero stars I would. Customer support is terrible. The owner only cares about her bottom line. I wish I knew in March what I know now.

I don't need a business license to purchase from authorized Bobbi Boss, Outre, Mane Attraction, etc. retailers. My review was 100% truthful. I ordered product from you, after more than the 6 weeks stated on your website had passed, I reached out about my product, you never sent it and refused to give me my money back. When I wrote back that not shipping me product after taking my money was the same as stealing, you sent me a tracking number for someone else's order with a message that I would get my stuff soon. However, in your reply to this review, you accuse me of using you, and you assume that I know nothing about owning a business, how to purchase the same products without a business license for less money, and that I don't support an entire family on my own. Great example of stellar customer service. Any other business would do whatever it took to keep a customer, not berate them.

Wow where do I start! After about 10,000 out and 100 wigs in I’ve noticed a lot of changes where the wigs were mentioned “human hair blend” no longer mentioned in descriptions now. All this time I thought the wigs I was purchasing were a human hair blend! Even on the live video sales she had it was always mentioned that they were a human blend! Ive also noticed alot of women in the Rebel Gypsy FB were no longer there. I became suspicious about the wigs when I had 4 wigs that were special ordered and had been waiting for them for months and received an email that all 4 she could no longer get them and I would have to pick another replacement! I don’t understand why not just give my money back I didn’t want another wig! No it was always app credit. Bottom line I have heard from other women the problems with Rebel Gypsy and finding out that the wigs I have ordered were marked up 3x over and the same wig was less elsewhere and that they were NOT a human hair blend! She cuts tags out so you don’t know the real manufacture! It’s sad to say that I could have spent 3-5,000 for all my wigs instead of being price gouged for 10,000.
I have since done my own research and feel like Rebel Gypsy is overpriced and selling wigs with false claims! Be ware of what you’re buying and know that the same exact wig that she’s selling is a 30.00 wig which she sells for 150.00 and you think you’re getting a deal! Not to mention the Lux wigs! Mark up any?????? Save your money ladies! You can buy the same exact wig sold to other boutique or wig shops for less! She claims these wigs are her own from her manufacture which is lies! Lesson to be learned on my part after spending 10,000

I found this company in January and honestly it was great! I loved the community feel and women being so supportive of women ect ect. The shipping time really didn't bother me at first seeing how much I loved the wigs I received! Now seeing that I can find almost every single wig I bought for 100 bucks less on different websites and seeing how these other company's shipping is SO FREAKING FAST! I ordered a pair of pants from RG and the same night I wrote customer support saying I had ordered the wrong size and immediately after that ordered the correct size. They always tell you on the lives not to write support multiple times as it will push your email further down blah blah. So about a month later I finally received the shipping notice for both pants 🙄. I wrote them again hoping it could still be canceled because they do not actually mail out your item when you get the shipping notice via email or shop its just stating the label was created or whatever. Either way no response until the day the pants were actually delivered and said they were delivered and I could return them. But returning items you only get shop credit not actual refund so whatever I'll give them to someone else. Point is you can find these wigs all cheaper elsewhere and get them super fast. I ordered from another site one of the "lux" wigs that RG offers for 400 dollars less and literally received it less than 24 hours from when I ordered and both these wig shop headquarters are in Michigan where I also am. Like seriously months to receive orders from RG less than 25 hours from this other company. RG won't get anymore of my money I'm glad other ladies had done research into this business before I wasted even more money than I already have.

When I discovered rebel gypsy I was at my bottom with my hair falling out so I jumped head first and ordered the starter pack and oh my the wiggy was beautiful 🤩 now I have like 30. I have never had this much confidence in my life And I like to change me hair a lot so I can now do that without damaging the little bit of hair I have left. Rebel gypsy had changed my life forever and their customer service is amazing too Thank god for rebel gypsy
