I've purchased 3 pairs of sun glasses…
I've purchased 3 pairs of sun glasses from readers.com, and all 3 pairs broke, specifically the arms. The last pair just broke by simply removing them. These are very poorly made glasses, noting the cheap prices for them. I've bought similar sun glasses (readers) from other companies years ago with no issues, and decided to give this company a chance, well, 3 strikes and they're out! save your money and buy else where.
Pleasantly surprised!
I bought makeup readers and was surprised at how nice they were. I was expecting flimsy, but these sturdy and well made. Definitely will be purchasing again from them!

Solid experience - MULTIPLE times!
I have ordered from this company/site more times than I can count...what can I say, glasses are an fashion accessory for me. In my experience their customer has been stellar. As far as the products go, IMO, you get what you pay for. For the ones I have ordered that were app. $10 - they absolutely serve their purpose and I fully don't expect them to last for years. On the other hand, the ones I have bought in the $25+ range are absolutely worth the price. When you consider the price you're paying as compared to an optometrist's office or vision center Readers.com is the winner every single time!
Wrong glasses
My glasses came quickly, but unfortunately, they sent me the wrong style. The one l ordered looks nothing like the one they mailed me.
When l called and complained a recording said they were overwhelmed and would not be able to deal with it for six weeks.
Seems they have NO quality control or customer service. THIS IS A SCAM.

I was going to process a return but I figure after reading other reviews I will just cut my losses and chalk it up to learning through experience. in my opinion you're better off buying glasses from the dollar store or Sam's club. Buying these expensive readers doesn't make sense when they're made just as cheaply.

Read return policy!
Make sure to read the return policy. They want to charge you $2.95 to return the items. You cannot process a return via their website if you do not have an account with them.
Also, took almost a month to get the glasses. The quality of the glasses are pretty good, but just the hassle of the return process should make you look elsewhere.
They offered to "waive" the postage fee, but I decided to just keep the glasses because I was afraid to send the glasses back because of the long processing times and was not certain I would receive my refund. They do state that the refund process could take extra time because of COVID.
They will comment about COVID, etc. but they have had over a year to figure COVID out and do timely business, like everyone else, so just a false excuse for poor service.

Initial order made and wrong power…
Initial order made and wrong power sent. Company contacted and e-mail listed something like two weeks they would get back to me. About three weeks later they sent e-mail saying they were OUT of the model I ordered in the required power. Please choose another model.
I did and they said the new model would be sent. A month later new model still had not arrived. Contacted them again and they claimed a "new" system and problems but will expedite shipping.
Still have not arrived..
TOTAL waste of customer satisfaction. WILL NEVER deal with this Company or recommend.
Return policy needs some changes
This first order took 6 weeks to receive, but they turned out okay...I decided to try again...
Order two pair...both bifocal...one was Sofia Vergara sunglasses...rather expensive, but they worked
The other pair was just bifocal for everyday wear...OMG...not able to adjust my eyesight to accommodate my vision...the need to return was a must.
This is the truly bad part...not only do they deduct the cost to ship the glasses to me, they also do not reimburse you the shipping that you need to spend to return them...both costs equaled a pair of glasses. And if you do not get them returned in a 14 day time span (which is something they can’t get right as far as fast shipping)...they will not reimburse any amount.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY...TOO MANY OTHER PLACES THAT ARE BETTER!!!

I am done with readers.com. I buy glasses from the Dollar Tree that are fashionable and they last forever. I buy them from Readers.com and the arms break or they break at the hinge not long after ordering them. I had a pair that I really like but the arm broke in half. Thinking I had done somthing to cause it, I ordered another pair and they did the same thing. I'll stick with the $1 glasses from Dollar Tree that last much longer.

Poor quality Chinese readers, blended lens not useable
Poor quality Chinese readers. I ordered the so called blended lenses- the reader areas are not centered and not useable. Made with rigid inexpensive plastic and can not be adjusted to fit on your nose and ears. I will have to return. And, adding insult to injury they do not pay return postage. As is often the case, TV advertising and a slick website are designed to lure you..... I should have known better.
Where are my glasses?
I ordered my glasses a month ago and have yet to receive them. Have called several times and nothing has been resolved.

I've been a customer of READERS. Com for a few years, more than 5 years .one if my first pair of glasses was the ashlee. They lasted over 4 years I got a lot of complaints about them. One day the lens just fell out. I was excited to still find them whein READERS so I ordered another pair. I was very disappointed when the new pair came. The quality of the glasses was definitely not the same. Very flimsy and cheap looking. The material was much thinner than the first pair I purchased. Very disappointed I am not a fan of READERS now especially if glasses are cheap and flemsey like the recent pair I purchased
Poor quality, poor customer service
I have ordered from this company before. Those frames are fragile and tend to break for no reason at all - in 2-3 weeks time. They are made in China. More important, I ordered 3 more due to their low price and hoping the next one would be more sturdy. But the glasses never arrived. Two weeks later Amber told me they are sending replacements. Those never arrived either, with unworkable tracking number. This time Nicole tells me that USPS "neglected" to scan the shipping boxes, so, there is no way to know if they have been in fact shipped at all, or where they are. I am not falling for this game. If I don't receive my order in 10 more days (30 days waiting) I will reverse the charges on my credit card.
Not what they used to be
Not what they used to be. Granted you get what you pay for, but the quality of the glasses and accessories I received is far below what they used to be. Not a big fan of the big Made in China stickers either. On top of that no free return shipping like many other companies. My last time buying from them.
This is a scam business
This is a scam business. i ordered glasses 6 weeks ago, my credit card was charged and there is no delivery or tracking information. No one responds to emails or phone calls. I am soon taking legal action against this company.

No glasses after three week wait
I ordered glasses before Thankisgiving. I received a notifaction they were being mailed on November 24th. They did not leave the supposed USPS facility until December 6th and arrived at the Philadelphia distribution facility the same day. They were to arrive the next day, then on 12/10. No glasses on the 11th and no evidence of my account at their site. It seems that many people are asking if Readers.com is a scam site. I am now a member of that group. No response from them and no one answers a phone.
