The key is to review the reviews that purchasers post on readers.com. They post all the reviews that folks want to post! I have bought 8 pairs of reading glasses over a 2 year period and am happy with the quality. While it took awhile to get my order, their packaging of the glasses ensures that they arrive undamaged. Remember....READ THOSE REVIEWS, before you buy!

I have had at least 3 pairs of readers.com glasses come apart at the temples with the temple screws just loosening until they fall out. After the 90 day warranty, don’t expect to get anything but the satisfaction of having been able to complain about how poorly these glasses are made. You get what you pay for and at Readers.com, that’s not much. This is what they meant when the phrase ,”built in obsolescence” was coined… they expect to sell you lots of glasses over (a short) time. Now you know why.

They have a poor collection of eye wear. I was looking for sunglasses, polorized but all you can find is polorized bifocals. I don't want bifocals when I am driving. They have horrible customer service. I tried for days to track an order that seemed like it was taking forever to arrive and they don't answer their emails, or their phones and their live chat was worthless. Their shopping is a joke. I have decided to pay a little extra and get my reading glasses and or sunglasses polorized non bifocals via the local drug store. At least this way I can get what I want and when I want them.

What garbage! waisted my timeand money on these only to find they scratch very easy! And how cheap is this company that they can't provide a case with them?
My guess they have a website cases.com to rip you off for more money!
HAD to give 1 star, NO STAR is better.

Sophie magnification of 4 is a very thick lens, which is hard to tell by the pictures online. If you send them back you will recieve about half of what you spent as a refund due to shipping.....so be aware of the thickness, and cost to return.

JUST don't order. Don't call holds indefinite. Don't try chat...it does not exist. Have to beg for return label. The glasses are marginal to poor quality. Too many options out there to try to deal with a loser company like this.

The frames are of reasonable quality but the lenses are horrible. My $10 readers from Walmart are significantly better. My advice is to stay away from Readers.com and don't waste your money

I loved my glasses but fell asleep with the LAURA and it broke soo I ordered more. Can’t wait to receive them

Have ordered two pair of reading glasses. Both pair have broken with what could be classified as 'minimal use.' Contacted their Customer Service and got some 'stock' reply citing Covid as the reason for slow response. I live 30 miles from Readers.com facility. Anyone who changed their business practices because of that is WOKE. Nothing other than some restaurants and bars in my town changed practices. Their glasses are one step above those at the Dollar Store. You don't even get service when they fail. AVOID.

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses I received 1 pair. I have been trying to get information on getting the second pair of glasses or a refund for the glasses I didn't receive. The customer service is nonexistant.

I received the wrong pair of glasses & power was even close to the original pair that I wanted. I am a 1st time customer and it will be the last time I order from this company. I should have read the bad reviews before I ordered from this company!!!

Unpleasant experience
Unpleasant experience, terrible Customer service, you can not get in touch with them by phone, it never works, and they never respond to your email. I order magnified sunglasses, lenses are way off, magnification is incorrect, top part of the lenses not magnified it all. Lenses absolutely terrible. Plus it took one month for delivery..... I send them email over a week ago and they still hadn't reply

If I had known glasses were MADE IN CHINA, I would not have ordered.

Two weeks and no glasses. Called the company and recorded message says the company is closed in the middle of the day. Usps tracking info says my order was never received from the shipper.

I purchased some frames. I don't care for them and when I go to return them it says my email is not recognized! I have emailed them twice and still no response! Thank god I didn't spend a lot of money but still what a racket! BBB here I come!!

Got my readers today.

I ordered 2 pairs of readers on April 8th they are still not here as of April 20th. I called customer service, they said its not their problem.
Save yourself some grief & purchase from Amazon or other reputable source.

Terrible glasses. I needed an extra pair and thought this would be good. They sent the wrong ones and it costs me to return them. Their guarantee is you can return them but they don’t say you need to pay to do it. Avoid. Their are better companies.

I sent back a pair of glasses and hadn't heard anything. I called and they said they received them back and will refund my account. I have not seen anything show up. Then I called today, first call left a message, second call said number not available and third call left a message. The I went on live chat, they said no one available to help, said to send an e-mail. This is the worst company with terrible customer service!!

Wrong item sent. Called 3 times and emailed them 5 times. No response back from emails and the calls said each time that they were closed; leave name and number and they would get back to me. Im still waiting. Ordered 3.15 and today is 4/7. Bad customer service. Do not order from them Scam
