I had a sudden issue with the QB web connector. Brian Crase had been on leave for a month but was able to fix the issue quickly!

As noted by other users, the RainPOS has so many glitches that the developers just don't seem to care about fixing - and make things difficult and time consuming for me, the consumer. Customer history that's more than 2 years old? No. Items with varients ordered alphabetically or numerically? No. DIscontinued stock items deleted? No (they stay in the system FOREVER). Do your research; use another platform.

Difficulty getting the labels to work with the Beta tests RAIN is doing. TJ did a great job investigating and figuring a solution so that we might print price tags on the merchandise we purchased for after Thanksgiving sales

Brian was easy to communicate with and we didnt need to do a zoom! had great ideas for workaround that we have and was quite knowledgeable about the entire system. give him a raise.

Horrible customer service! Long waits for help by phone then little to no resolution. Today they told me they had known about a system wide problem that started in July 2025 and started affecting us in October. Their Cost of Goods Sold doesn’t work, don’t even think about using them for online sales, and heaven help you if you want to be in charge of how your items show up on your website. You have no control. And get this……they have no automated Abandoned Cart follow up! They will lose you way more money than you’ll ever make! And there is no follow up from management. They only care about getting you as a customer. Then good luck! We’ve been fighting this with them for over 2 years now!! BUYER BEWARE!!

Been on Rain since 2022, it's ok, in a general sense, but there are huge issues with their reporting, tax handling (We are in Canada) and lack of responsiveness. The support people are fine but don't know anything, don't run checks to confirm what you report. Rain has no interest in fixing little quirks. Their special order module is a nightmare constantly creating errors. Reports are so limited, you can't compare yr over yr and just recently one of their reports stopped going back past June 11th. Been over a week. Could be good but just isn't.

In parting, he also provided some quick tips to make the "batch inventory upload" process quickly and smoothly. Great job, Ben!

Brad in Technical Support Rocks! I was attempting to send a receipt in the POS register after a new customer presented an Amex card for payment. I noticed my screen looked a little different than usual, but I continued chatting and figured I'd send their receipt after they left so I could give my full attention to what I was doing. The register showed that the customer owed no balance, so I felt comfortable exiting the screen to look at my reports. There was no record of the transaction or the customer! I called Tech Support in a bit of a panic. I was pleasantly surprised that I had no wait time before Brad answered the phone. He was able to see the transaction and fixed everything so that my inventory was updated correctly and I would receive payment! Crisis averted quickly and easily!

Brian Crase was amazing. Very personable, pleasant, and just an overall pleasure to speak with. Consider him RAIN's "PPP", he is very much appreciated and I am grateful for his expertise and guidance. Thank you

i would give them a negative review if possible the are the worst i thought quick books pos was bad at leastn qoick books knew they sucked they had enouch common sence to shut theres down they lie steel and cheat if you need to get help call sales and request to be transfered thats about the only way you can get tec support i and my team have had enough the worst expriecne ever we have been using this garbadge for over a year they are the absolut worst

I filed a complaint about Rain with the BBB in Utah. The reporting with this system has never worked as advertised. When Rain bought POSIM, I was strongly encouraged to convert to Rain. I was also assured that it could do "everything POSIM can do". I asked some very specific questions about the reports I was concerned about, was told "yes". Reporting capability is severely lacking with Rain. I've gone round and round with them about this. Finally yesterday I spoke to someone in middle management. They gave the same old excuses - "we've let the developers know" and gave me support ticket ID. There is a serious amount of gatekeeping at this company. They do not want you to talk to management. There have been many other problems with the system in the 18 months I've had it. If you are not happy with Rain, I encourage you to insist that you speak to someone in management and to file a BBB complaint. If I treated my customers as Rain has treated me, I'd be out of business. Maybe if enough people file serious complaints with the BBB, we can get Rain's attention and they can improve their product.

Would rate zero or negative if possible. Completely unresponsive company, does not communicate, return calls, or resolve issues. Access to anyone in management is unavailable. They will all "call you back" but never do. If I treated my customers the way Rain Retail treats theirs, I would not have been in business for almost 22 years. I DO NOT RECOMMEND RAIN. I am actively seeking alternatives, and looking up federal regulations. This is the last straw.

Not only does the program integrate my point of sale with my website, but customer support is great. It is nice that you know you are going to be talking to someone who works for the company in Utah instead of a third party call center.

I really appreciate being able to speak with areal English speaking person when I have an issue or don't understand how this online stuff works

I would not do business without RainPOS. I have a busy mosaic studio where customers come in and create as well as purchase from my retail. Customer service is great and the system fits my needs perfectly as a small art studio with inventory. Class modules are awesome and produce Class Reports that are useful along with the calendar. Business Reports are perfect for my business. Inventory trackers are perfect for me. Marketing works great. Merchant service-related options are great as well. I've been using RainPOS now for over 4 years.

I love how the software is designed around the industry, so it has everything we need. Support is always very quick and helpful when something is confusing. I do find that it can be pretty easy to do things in the wrong order and break the system sometimes, but that's mostly a matter of getting to know it better.

Like Sew gives us all the features we need to run an efficient quilt shop! We love how robust the product is and if we do have an issue, the Rain customer service team is prompt and complete in dealing with it and getting us back where we need to be. Five stars in our book!

I'm trying to learn more about rain so it's hard to give it a higher rating. I am most interested in breaking down sales in ways that I haven't yet found. Day of the week totals is one I'm interested in

We've been a Rain (LikeSew) customer for almost 4 years. Pricing is fair for what we use (website, marketing and point-of-sale.) We looked at other options, but the integration between the various modules (specifically, between the point-of-sale and website) is crucial! Having someone sold out (the last one) in the store and automatically getting removed from the website is a huge timesaver (and prevents disappointed customers!) and the integration that allows us to automatically add pictures, descriptions, pricing, etc.) is also a HUGE timesaver! On the few occasions we've had to call support, we've had great response time and quick resolution to our problems. Finally, Rain has been reasonable in listening to our requests for improvements (and have implemented a few!) We're pleased with the company, the people and the product!

This company misrepresented itself to us. The sales people told us that they could accomodate our needs but once we migrated they were like "oh we can't do that." some of these things are minor others are significant. Now we are being charged extra because RAIN is unable to do what we need as far as processing credit cards. we need to be able to accept local chamber of commerce gift cards via our credit card processing. if RAIN could do that we would switch but because RAIN lacks the capability to meet that need you're charging us extra. its a really smarmy and underhanded way to do business.
