Not the most friendly helpful outfit. It's not really the RAC it seems to be administered by BSL like a lot of others. Take a good deal but shop around in depth.

If there was minus stars I would give it......this company are nothing but scammers, crooks and thieves
I took out a car insurance policy with these crooks, then days later I changed my car as it developed a serious engine failure, they doubled the premium which was far too high, so I cancelled the policy outright. WITHIN THE 14 DAYS,
I then cancelled the direct debit, and again they set it back up a day later, I cancelled it again. Then today they tried to take £740.00 from my bank, but the bank blocked it and refunded me straight away.
RAC owe me money, after paying a £99 deposit, they wanted to charge me £25 for a policy change and days for which the new car was insured. LESS than 14 days, fair enough, and they won't refund the difference.
I strongly advise anyone thinking of insurance with these crooks, to avoid them at all costs. I've now taken up a complaint with them, and I will take further action if they do not pay me what they stole. So quick to take Ur money but not so quick to pay it back when the error is their fault.
