You would think you can get a replacement key from the manufacturer, right? Not in the case of LG! For my LG Gram 16" 2022/2023 edition, I was redirected to a whole new keyboard, totalling at around 154€. All because I broke one key by accident... No way in hell I'm paying that!

Knowing most things come from China these days, I went to AliExpress and decided to buy a spare key with a hinge there. Once I received it, it did not work and I ultimately broke the actual key in half, because I had been pressing on the key too hard in the hopes it'd click into place.

I was close to ordering the spare keyboard when I found this shop. Honestly I didn't think they can help me - the Chinese didn't seem to be able to and they usually produce the stuff, right? WRONG again!

Not only was the customer support amazing - they looked at the images and deduced which key and hinge I should buy, but the product arrived and was very easy to install as there are video and PDF guides provided!
Sure, even with express shipping to Germany (from the US), it still took around two weeks instead of one, but I can't blame QuikFix Laptop Keys for that.

Overall I am very happy and the key looks perfect, too.

When you ask them about a replacement key, just make sure to provide a shot of the keyboard and close-up shots of the key and key hinge.

Great! Have an older laptop (~10 years old) that was torn up by my friend's dog. Decided to finally look into fixing it up, and QuickFix was fast and exactly what I needed regarding the replacement keys I needed. Unfortunately, one key was out of stock, but once that is (hopefully!) restocked, I will have my keyboard back to good as new! Really happy with everything.

***Update in response to company reply here. Incorrect, I tried to place my order multiple times, wanting to pay with PayPal, through both Firefox and Chrome. Neither would go through. Even today.

The last reply I received from Quik Key was July 27 and I have send emails and messages through the company site several times. I corrected any errors and still got an error message. I even emailed about the error message. And yes, I did check spam.

What's the deal with this company? I ordered replacement keys from another company, selected the wrong hinge, and had difficulty with their customer service after. So I decided to try QuikFix. First, I asked 2 questions to make sure I order the correct product and got a quick reply . . . to 1 question. So I tried again. No response. I tried placing the order anyway and got an error code. I tried repeatedly to order, no luck. Worse, I contacted the company several times over a couple of weeks and got no reply! Guess I'll have to order from another supplier.

They were the only company, of several, who not only told me what size of key I needed to replace on my laptop, but provided a chart showing key sizes on their website. They quickly confirmed my key size via email and I am very grateful for their comprehensives service.

Great company. I worked with another replacement keys similar business and got completely scammed. I was really hoping this website would be different and it was. I actually received the exact product I was shown and i chose. It came in no less than 2-3 days since I placed the order and fit my keyboard perfectly. Will definitely be ordering from them if I need it in the future! They are 100% trustworthy.

Horrible experience with this company. They sent me the wrong parts, because they had them misidentified on their website, then refused to correct it when I contacted them, blaming the error on me instead. Here's what happened:

I ordered a replacement Left Shift key kit for my Lenovo Flex 14, but when I received it, the parts did not match what I had ordered. Their website has photos of the various types of key hinges used with specific laptop models so you can match the ones found on your laptop. However, the set I received was clearly different from the one I had selected on their website.

When I contacted them, they told me I had indicated the wrong laptop model when making my order and sent me a link to what they said was the correct one. However, that link showed the exact same hinge type (part #L57) that I had ordered. Further checking on their site found the L57 hinge is commonly used on many Lenovo models, including mine.

When, in email correspondence, I pointed out that I still should have received an L57 hinge set and clearly did not, their representative became quite obstinate. He insisted that having the same part number didn't mean it was compatible across different models, which is absurd.

He also sent me a photo of what he said were the hinge types I had selected, but those clearly did not match the photo on their website of L57 hinges for that laptop model. And again, the link he sent me with what he said was the correct model showed the EXACT SAME HINGES AND PART #L57 I HAD ORDERED!!!

To summarize, my laptop requires an L57 hinge type, per the link he provided; I had ordered an L57 hinge set but that is not what I received, because they erroneously listed it as an option for the laptop I was looking at, and they refused to acknowledge this was an error on their part or that they had any obligation to correct it.

I'll also point out that their site does not list my exact model type, which is a Lenovo Flex-14ADI. They do show a variety of Lenovo Flex 14s and it was their search function that pointed me to the model I based my order on, after carefully matching photos of the keyboard type and the images shown of the keyboard hinges. The model he eventually sent me a link to did not turn up in any of my searches or by using the website menu.

But again, the fundamental issue is I needed an L57 key hinge set, that's what I ordered, that's not what I got and they refused to correct it based on a technicality, despite the fact they had the parts wrongly identified on their site.

- P.S. Wow. I just read their response and I've never seen a bigger crock in my life. For one thing, the Lenovo Flex-14ADI most definitely IS my laptop and is the model sold at Costco in 2020. I don't know if I can share a screenshot here, but I'd be happy to provide an image of that section of my system info to prove it.

Also, they continue to ignore the facts that:

1) the L75 hinge is the part my laptop requires, per the link they sent me for the "correct" model.

2) the L75 hinge is the part I ordered from their website, based on the photo featured on their site

3) I most certainly did not receive a set with L75 hinges

4) Based on their own communications to me, the photos with the model I assumed was mine showed the wrong hinges. If they'd had the correct photos, I would have continued looking at other models.

Finally, if they insist my model # doesn't exist, then why did they send me a link for what they claim was the correct one? How would they know?

This seems to an amateurish or dodgy operation. I didn't mention it in my review, but searching for my laptop model using their search function began to give irregular results once I began corresponding with them. At first it gave me just the model I had ordered from; trying a short time later gave 300+ results, then toward the end of my discussion with Keith it sent me directly to the link he had sent. So draw your own conclusions.

I recently broke some of the hinges when trying to clean my keyboard. Unfortunately my laptop model is a bit too new to find replacement parts. Luke from quikfixlaptopkeys.com did an outstanding job helped me pick up the correct hinges under another compatible model. It only took a bit of shipping time to get the hinges on hand and now my laptop is working as expected and I'm super happy! Kudos to the customer support team and the business as a whole!

I needed to replace a single key on my Huawei Matebook X Pro. I naturally went to the manufacturer, which told me that:
- it wasn't covered by the warranty (!)
- they didn't sell individual replacement keys, so they had to replace the whole keyboard (!!)
- I had to leave my PC with them for several days (!!!)
- they might need to wipe my hard drive (!!!!)
(needless to say, I'm not ordering anything from them ever again)
Anyway, I then found quikfixlaptopkeys.com through their YouTube channel, as they have a tutorial for my exact laptop model. I emailed them a picture of my broken key and they quickly replied with the reference I needed to order. The ordering process was smooth, the key was shipped quickly and it fits perfectly. I know where to go if this happens again!

Another scam outfit that doesn't have the parts in stock yet bills your CC.

I learned about this company through a video on YouTube. None of the hinges that this website recommended for my computer model (HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eg) were the right ones. Coincidentally, the video that I watched (from them) on how to install a key hinge, which was for a different model (HP Pavilion 15-cc) showed the exact same hinge that my computer needed. Thus, I placed my order not based on the model, but based on what visually matched my laptop.

I ordered it on a Saturday, and the following day, I got a notification that they had shipped it. It was a perfect match and the installation instructions on YouTube were easy to follow.

I’m very pleased with the purchase and how quickly it was delivered. If I need another key, I would not hesitate to order from quikfixlaptopkeys.com again.

got keys for a alienware laptop 4 days later it arrives in a cute little box and has saved me from buying a whole new keyboard just to fix a few keys they have great service. if your searching for fast replacement keys these guys are the place

also a heads up theres another site called "Laptop Key Replacement" it has the same website as these guys but they have way worse reviews (all saying they dont deliver) i was about to order from them before i found these guys and these guys are cheaper and come faster

I ordered an 8 and a tilde key (`) for my ASUS ROG GL502VT, both keys worked perfectly and the order was timely, about 5 days.

My key on my keyboard recently broke, so I ordered the replacement on the site. It came in earlier than it said it would, and the key works just like new. x!

I ordered a replacement key for my Acer Aspire and it fit perfectly. Shipped quickly and the price was better than I could find anywhere else.

I have just received my replacement "P" key for my laptop and it fitted perfectly on my Dell G5 5590. I don't usually leave reviews but I am relieved after having a bad experience with another company.

Prising the old damaged keytop off my keyboard and replacing it with the new one was a quick and easy job and I'm delighted with the result. It looks pristine and works perfectly.

Very deceptive business/website. They advertise a Keyboard Key Replacement Kit as if its the entire key assembly and what they send is simple key cap. When I contacted them they simply said the kit is a cap and that's all they offer. DON'T FALL VICTIM TO THEIR SCAM!

I ordered a replacement for the letter 'D' on my Lenovo Flex 5 laptop and it came within 2 weeks. The part fit like a glove and I am very satisfied. I recommend using this site!

Ordered replacement keys for my HP laptop. Got as close to my model as I could on their site, and visually looked at the piece and it was pretty close. Plus they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Too bad, I get the parts, they don't fit and turns out I should have ordered keys to a name they made up for my laptop model and now I have to pay for return shipping, original shipping, and shipping on a new order because they made up a name for my laptop different than the manufacturer.

Update, still horrible attitude and customer service. Given that there is a pending refund, and they offered me a discount code I thought I'd try ordering the "correct" item (their own rep recognized that the name for my product is not accurate and they just use their own name they made up so whose fault is it?)... nope they blocked me from ordering. Additionally ahead of time I did email them to find out and no one got back to me. My business is officially going elsewhere.
