Took 4 days to tell me it wasn't in stock
Ordered some probiotic paste that my dog needed ASAP, and picked the earliest delivery date (4 days' time).
My credit card got charged, but on the morning of the delivery date I just get an email saying the order has been refunded and I will be receiving nothing.
It's poor that it took 4 days to realise something is out of stock. I won't be buying from here again, too unpredictable, especially when you need something ASAP.
Now shopping with Benyfit Natural who offer next day delivery too.

We should have identified the stock issue much sooner and communicated with you straight away, rather than only notifying you on the expected delivery day. That’s not the level of service we aim to provide, and we take full responsibility for the delay and lack of timely communication.

Totally let down by 4 days to receive food
I have had a subscription for a number of years, however this time I was totally let down by delivery of my order. I was advised on Thursday that the order have been dispatched to the delivery company, I received no notification from the delivery company until Saturday, which now says that they will deliver the food on Monday. No way is the food going to be fit for consumption four days after dispatch. I tried to contact Prodogs but no one is available over the weekend until Monday..
Saturday - someone from ProDogs emailed me to say they would look into this, but I’ve had no more information since then and the food has still not arrived.
Update
Now awaiting a new delivery.

Delivery shambles and leaking raw food!
Such a shame, was great for a year or so but has taken a nose dive off a cliff in recent months!
Originally, great product for fussy eaters, well packaged in click shut tubs and consistent delivery timescales.
Where we are now?
The date for arrival of the subscription box is anyone’s guess. For the 4th time the delivery has come 4-5 days after I needed it. The point of the subscription is ease and a readily available product but this just stopped working for the last few months . The cycle I picked for delivery is less than a month and I still run out every month. The company takes no ownership for this, often pointing fingers at their courier. While this might be true, if I knew one of my suppliers wasn’t pulling their weight, I’d do something about it!
It also doesn’t help that they have now ceased deliveries over the weekend to save a few quid and rather than this meaning they bring the delivery forward, they push it back to the next working day.
Delivery SLA’s are already poor and now you get the pleasure of an extra 2 days on top of that, 4 if your delivery falls on a bank holiday.
They show little sympathy for those with fussy dogs. The challenge of having to change food for a few days and then get them back onto this product is not understood by this company. Don’t bother complaining or wanting any kind of gesture of good will, as I have been told this affects too many customers so wouldn’t be able to apply any approach consistently - read the room, if too many are affected, change it! Mind blowing.
I’d also perhaps show a little sympathy if you didn’t get automatic emails saying we will attempt to deliver on X date and then have no follow up emails or attempts thereafter. Waiting around for a big box of frozen dog food that may or may not land on your doorstep is inconvenient at best!
Once they sort their delivery issues out, they should take a look at their packaging, another standard that has slipped. When unpacking 30 boxes of food, nobody wants to sit scrapping raw dog food off the outside of the individual packages!
Such a shame, we are now looking at alternatives. What happened?

While we do work closely with our courier partners, we agree with your point, the responsibility ultimately sits with us. We should be providing a service you can depend on, and it’s clear we’ve fallen short here.
We’re also very sorry to hear about the condition of your deliveries. Leaking packaging is not the standard we expect, and we understand how unpleasant and frustrating that is when unpacking your order.

We genuinely regret that this has led you to consider alternatives, particularly after a positive experience in the past. Feedback like yours is being taken seriously as we work to improve both our delivery reliability and packaging standards.

Truly an excellent product
As a dog lover but also a marketing manager and product owner, ProDog Raw is one of the best products I've seen in years.
We have a corgi with chicken and white fish allergies so finding a raw food supplier with a product without these was a challenge. Tinned hypoallergenic food was making her put on weight even at recommended amounts.
Moving her to the lamb and offal raw food has been transformative - she is back to a healthy weight and I think this will make a huge difference into her old age with back problems corgis can received.
She is happier, healthier and loving being back on pure raw food.

Sorry for the 3 stars
I should have reviewed these guys earlier as they are really great and my dogs loves the foods, i started with the chubs, standard 80.10.10 and now only ordering the deluxe pack. I believe i've been a loyal customer for almos a year and half, the first 2 deliveries were with DPD always on time with one hour slot no worries about the food getting defrosted, after those 2 deliveries they have changed to DHL, forget about how rude the drivers are, after all i get my delivery. The problem is they are always late, you get stuck at home all day waiting for the delivery, you get lucky if you get a delivery within the advised timing slot, we are not talking about 1 or 2 hours late, for example the delivery was due between 12:47 and 13:47, it us now 17:34 and im stuck at home waiting like an idiot. I love Prodog raw but the delivery company is what will stop me from ordering from you.

DO NOT ORDER FROM PRODOG
Prodog really let down by the delivery service they use DHL I WAS a new customer. The food I ordered was partially defrosted when it EVENTUALLY arrived There was no ice pack in the box and the food ordered only came in 500 gms. No common sense they know there are problems with delivery and yet do nothing about it Dealing with them stressful and time consuming yes they reply but don’t think they care or have much knowledge of dogs One order was enough

ProDog have been consistently brilliant…
ProDog have been consistently brilliant since I started using them (after being highly recommended to me by my neighbour). The website and subscription system is easy to manage, the food always turns up thoroughly frozen, customer service are always so fast to respond to any queries and are super helpful and friendly, the different proteins and diet options are vast and well thought out, the price is competitive and most importantly, my fussy dog consistently wolfs his ProDog food down.

I have to say Prodog have been great on…
I have to say Prodog have been great on every level. I have had a subscription with them for some time now but noticed lately my now older dog was struggling a bit with bone content. I got a call from their team to discuss it and they advised me on alternative packs I can order with no bone content and things I can do to help her out.

Prodog is great quality and I like the reliability that the bundle I buy is offal free.

Great food
Great food, my little pups love it. Started off with an 80-10-10 pack. Problems with delivery mainly due to the bad weather at that time. Only problem with the delivery was that it included Beef and tripe which we had asked to exclude. Problem was solved very quickly by Liselle, who refunded the relevant tubs. We will be placing another order next week.

Helping severely underweight pups eat
I have two new rescues sadly both skin and bone. Initially, I contacted ProDog for advice about feeding raw to help their weight gain. Alison replied to my email almost immediately, she was kind, made suggestions and asked lots of questions about the dogs and their history. To my surprise, Caroline, the ProDog Behaviourist contacted me, she had consolidated details about the dogs from which she highlighted how she could help them eat. After a good chat I took her advice and what difference, they now eat at set times and with ProDog raw added to their feed are licking their plates clean! Fantastic service, I can't thank them enough!!
