This service commenced in 2012 and enables you to request fully accredited UKAS ISO5189 pathology testing at up to 31 Spire Private Hospitals rated either Good or Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission. With Phlebotomy and our own GP referral included, samples are analysed across Spire's own Laboratory Network and results are sent straight to your inbox. This is an all-in-one VIP service, not a DIY postal kit.

I wanted to have a urine culture test…
I wanted to have a urine culture test at this clinic, which I had to pay for. I did not want any other service. On the company's website it costs £95, but it does not say that I need a consultation, which must be paid for separately. I consider this to be misleading advertising. Attention to other interested parties, do not waste your time.

The Spire hospital was fantastic, from helpful reception staff ,who went above & beyond their job to help ,speed with the following day service, and efficient nurse doing procedure, and 2 days for results by email
I would thoroughly recommend .

Very disappointing
Very disappointing! My drs won’t accept the results unless they are sent direct from the company. The company won’t send results to the drs even though it would take 1 min to do therefor, this whole process is useless. I do not recommend this company to anyone wanting blood tests.

We’re really sorry to hear that your doctor won’t accept the results directly from you.
We completely understand how frustrating that must be. Unfortunately, due to data protection regulations, we can only send results directly to the patient, but we always encourage patients to share them with their healthcare provider in the format provided.
In most cases, a printed copy of the results should be acceptable for your doctor, as they contain all the necessary details, including the laboratory's information.
It may be worth checking with them again.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that around 90% of the time, we use the same accredited laboratories as the NHS, so the quality and reliability of the results should be no different from those issued through standard healthcare channels.
We genuinely appreciate your feedback and understand how important a smooth process is when it comes to blood testing.

Great service all round.
Booked online all fine. Their online chat was very good, they answered quickly and were very helpful. The private hospital who dealt with the phlebotomy was also very good and professional.
Their blood tests came back well within the specified time and the doctor's comments were very helpful and informative.

Good experience
Fast, efficient in both the ordering, booking and return of the tests. If you can't get anywhere via your GP - as is so often sadly the case these days - this is an excellent service. The only downside is the cost.
