Premium Price, Ordinary Service
I was very disappointed with my experience.
The fare was exceptionally high for a very short ride (4 km, more than 500 NOK), and I was never informed in advance that a special premium tariff would be applied. As a visitor to Oslo, I reasonably assumed I was taking a regular taxi.
What makes the experience even more frustrating is that the vehicle and overall service did not feel premium in any way, despite the company marketing itself as a premium transportation service.
After the ride, I compared prices and discovered that Uber Black were available for half the price I paid.
A premium price can be acceptable when there is transparency and a truly premium experience. Unfortunately, neither was the case here.
I would advise other travelers to ask for a fare estimate before getting into one of these taxis.
