Amazon Jungle Tour
My 3-day tour in the Amazon and I was based at Turtle Lodge. It was an experience I’ll never forget. From the moment we left Manaus till arrive in the Lodge was a very nice experience. At the lodge our guide Rildo showed a very nice knowledge and good comand of english; he shared all knowledge of the rainforest with enthusiasm and made every activity engaging.
The meals at the lodge were delicious, and the atmosphere felt peaceful and truly connected to nature. Amazing fresh fish served at lunch and dinner.
One of the most memorable moments was getting the chance to hold an alligator; an experience I’ll be talking about for years!
Turtle Lodge delivered an authentic and well-organized Amazon adventure.
Highly recommended to anyone wanting a real jungle experience.

Pantanal Excursion
Mit Planeta Exo hat alles super geklappt. Der Fahrer und der Transport war pünktlich und komfortabel. Leider sprach der Fahrer gar kein Englisch und konnte so wenig zu der Landschaft und dem Weg ins Pantanal sagen. Die Safari Jungle Lodge war toll, das Essen war lecker und es gab dort viel zu beobachten. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Guide Emerson war sehr ausdauernd beim Tiere suchen aber leider ansonsten etwas wortkarg.

four-day Amazon tour
We did a four-day Amazon tour and were absolutely thrilled with the experience. The Turtle Lodge was really excellent – the rooms were comfortable and clean, and we felt very at home there. The food was simple, but always very tasty and freshly prepared.
A special highlight was our guide: extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated. The excursions were very well organized, diverse, and gave us an amazing insight into the beauty of the Amazon.
The organization by the PlanetaEXO team was also outstanding. We could reach out to them at any time with questions, and they were always attentive, helpful, and caring.

Privilegierte Amazonastour fernab von Touristenmassen
3 Tage im Amazonas Abenteuer waren ein einmaliges Erlebnis.
Ich wurde am Donnerstag früh von meinem Hostel abgeholt und dann ging es etwa zwei Stunden außerhalb der Stadt zu unserem Startpunkt am Urubu Fluss von wo aus die Kajak-Tour begann. Ca. 2 weitere stunden paddeleten wir dann weiter entspannt mit der Strömung in den tiefen Dschungel hinein und versuchten dabei Wildtiere zu entdecken. Es fühlte sich schon sehr privilegiert an, in dieser kleinen Gruppe mit 4 Abenteurern und 2 Guides so tief in den Urwald einzutauchen. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass wir im Umkreis von 20 bis 40 Kilometern die einzigen Menschen dort waren.
Die Tage dort verbrachten wir dann eigentlich immer gleich mit Kajak fahren, leckerem Essen, durch den Wald zu Wasserstellen und Wasserfällen wandern, am Tag und in der Dunkelheit nach Tieren Ausschau halten, und in Hängematten schlafen.
Wer denkt, dass es nur so vor Wildtieren wimmelt, wird leider oder zum Glück enttäuscht. Viele interessante Tiere haben wir nicht gesehen und ich fand die Dschungelatmosphäre an den stellen, wo wir waren auch relativ ruhig. Aber dennoch war es ein großes Abenteuer, denn man weiß ja nie was einem erwartet. Also zusammenfassend würde ich sagen, die Guides und das Essen war super. Im Urwald in Hängematten schaffen macht man bestimmt nicht so oft im leben. Es ging tief in den Dschungel rein, fernab von großen Touristenmassen. Insgesamt hätte ich mir etwas mehr Abwechslung gewünscht und ich weiß nicht, ob wir einfach nur Pech hatten, keine Tiere gesehen zu haben oder vielleicht war die Gegend einfach nicht so tierreich, was man sich ja eigentlich von einem Amazonas Abenteuer erhofft.

Gleichzeitig verstehen wir deinen Punkt zur fehlenden Abwechslung und Tierbeobachtung sehr gut. Wildtiere im Amazonas sind oft schwer zu entdecken und stark von Faktoren wie Wetter, Wasserstand und Jahreszeit abhängig. Manchmal ist es tatsächlich auch einfach eine Frage des Glücks.

Pantanal and Bonito trip.
Our trip was very well organized with a top guide Bruno, who was really very helpfull for us doing bird fotography. Bruno knew an awfull lot about the flora and fauna. The driver Fabrício was a very punctual, skilled and safe driver. He too looked along the road for us to view birds and other animals. We stayed in fazenda Pequi, which is a beuatifull farm and guesthouse. Very well structured and in the middle of nature close to Miranda. Food and rooms all superb. At Pequi we saw a lot of birds however mammals an reptiles were not present in abundance. Most of all, the people from Pantal area are very kind we enjoyed their hospitality. From fazemda Pequi you can arrange several tours, choose as you like!
We also stayed in Bonito. The travel day is actually a lost day. Instead of waiting we organized a trip to the Arara cave but unfortunately it started to rain and the birds stayed at home...
In Bonito we went to a cave and swum in the cristal clear river. The cave was for us not very interesting since we had seen more of this. The swimming or drifting in the river was very beautifull. If you look carefull you will see that there are more species of fish than the two large types. We met people who didn't think it was worth the money but they didn't see the beauty of nature because they were not used to look at the right things.in Bonito you find lots of restaurants and shops. Not really our point of interest.
I visited Pantanal 35 years ago and I was confronted with the effects of climate change and agro toxic compounds. This was a shock to witness. Nevertheless the trip is still very valuable. Next time I personally would start deep in the Pantanal area.

Wonderful Pantanal trip with great support and a few suggestions
We took a trip to the Pantanal and Bonito organized by the agency and overall we had a very good experience.
The first part of the trip was at Jungle Lodge in Miranda, which was excellent. The accommodation was great and the service was truly exceptional. All the staff were very attentive — from the guide to the reception team and everyone working at the lodge. The tours were also very well organized and provided an amazing experience in the Pantanal.
On the first day there was a small miscommunication regarding some activities that were included in the package, such as the horseback ride. This initially made us a bit concerned, but once we contacted the agency they responded immediately and resolved the situation very quickly. In the end we were able to do all the planned activities, which showed great responsiveness from their side.
The second part of the trip was in Bonito, where we did excursions such as Rio Sucuri and Estância Mimosa, both excellent and very well organized. The nature experiences there were truly incredible.
The only aspect that could be improved was the hotel chosen in Bonito. We encountered some maintenance issues, such as water leaks in both the bathroom and the room, and the towels were not completely clean when we arrived. The food was also not great and the hotel was located a bit far from the town center.
Another point is that we ended up having only one full day in Bonito. While talking with guides during the excursions, we learned that there are many other great attractions in the region. Since we had flexibility in our schedule, it might have been nice to spend more time there.
Despite these points, the agency’s support throughout the trip was very good. Whenever we needed help, we received quick responses. We would also like to highlight the excellent work of the drivers, especially Wagner and Joel, who were very professional and kind.
Overall, it was a very special and well-organized trip with incredible nature experiences.

Dream diving holiday in Fernando de Noronha organized by PlanetEXO
I had little time to prepare my trip to Fernando de Noronha and PlanetEXO did a great job of putting a package together, which included diving and lodging. All I had to do was get the plane ticket. PlanetEXO rescheduled the trip to accommodate a good flight deal I found. The hotel was nice and very well located, within walking distance of the main restaurants area. The diving company was top notch. The location itself, Fernando de Noronha, is a dream place for those who enjoy beaches, nature and diving.

We did the Jalapao Expedition (six days, Hiking, English Guide) in February and this can definitely be recommended. The locations were unique, very varied and without mass tourism. The pousadas were on a good level and the food was good. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a lot of experience.
The food/snacks in the car could have been organized a little better, it was a bit of a mess. Also, the seats in the car could have been occupied with a rotation, so that everyone gets a good seat.
All in all, it was a very good tour!

Wonderful experience
We were satisfied from beginning to end. Everything went smoothly without any problems. From the moment of pickup, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our guide was excellent, the food was delicious, and the facility is fantastic. Absolutely recommendable! A wonderful memory that we will never forget.
