I finally have no trouble keeping up with my medications and supplements. It’s very user friendly and simple.

This device has been very helpful with my medication management.

Had a little trouble setting up on both phones so it would “nag” my husband to take his meds & you called me & spent almost an hour walking me thru it. Have been using for 2 months now & no more arguments, he takes his pills whether I’m home or not & I finally have a way to know he’s following doctor’s orders. Thank you!

28 hours ago I wrote a review and "The PillDrill Team" responded. Please read my review carefully before commenting on it. Your comment was of a defensive one which I thought was not the best approach. If you read my post I started by praising the company for the excellent product and went on in agreement with other reviewers who had very good suggestions for the company regarding the product we all had in common as preference. Nowhere on my post did I said or implied that the company was negligence. I am a business person and I know that to perfect something it will always take time to build and that there is no magic in doing so. Like everyone else I too was giving a feedback. If you read my review carefully I specifically started explaining why I gave a “3” star as there are no options not to put a start and just write something. Also ended my comment by letting the readers know that I was going to let them know how did it go with the product I was going to purchase. So, in no way I was giving you guys a bad review as you implied. Your last line “ It seems only right to actually use a product before judging its quality.” Doesn’t make any sense as I was NOT judging the quality of any product but more agreeing with two suggestions that for me made sense. Encouraging someone or a company to look into something to better themselves or a product is not something that should be taken as an offense but rather as a positive approach. Last but not least for the record I will give a review start after I try the product. In the meantime, please be more careful when responding to any review.

(Sorry, this is a but long) I saw another person post that this is a good product for an "alert" person. I totally agree with this. I am going to say, I am not sure if your consumer target was for the elderly or in a "general" format. I would understand the ladder. You should come out with a secondary line for the elderly. Those who suffer Alzheimer's or take medication that effects their memory and perception. This is a slick unit and would have totally been worth every penny IF it had the following features: (or fixed the following features)

I saw no protocol if someone mistakenly picks up and scans the incorrect day. If the medication each day is exactly the same the system had no way to determine which pill box was being scanned. (Or at least this is my experience) The app has massive flaws. When I went to the med cabinet and entered in all of my mothers meds, I should have just been able to go to the screen where the picture of the pill box is and set up each cubby in each day and then pick which meds go into the pill box from the list I just created. There is no way to do this. So when she grabbed Friday instead of Thursday she had taken the wrong pills. That should be fixed. I had two other issues that I saw in the app as well. There is no option to enter in the schedule for each med. I should be able to enter in the mg as well as the instructions of when to take them. My mother has two medications with the same name but different dosage and the app did not allow for the information to show on the hub. VERY important. The other was, on some of the entries I made in the med cabinet it kept duplicating the entry. No matter how many times I removed it (or in your terms "archived" it) it still posted the same way and I was not entering it any different than I did the others.

This unit would be TOP OF THE LINE if the pill boxes were security locked and then unlocked once scanned to the hub. This way if my mother scanned the incorrect pill box it would not allow her to take the meds and it would then shoot me a quick texted saying she scanned the wrong pill box, etc this feature would be exclusive to customer such as myself with a loved one who cannot remember very well anymore. You guys have the chip on the pill boxes already, that is just a two step feature to add the lock and then reprogram the chip for security on the scan to the hub, then this price would make way better sense.

The features I would suggest adding would be the option to take a picture of the pill and add it to your entries in the med cabinet. This is very important for your loved ones who can't remember which pill is what, but they can compair, on the hub, each pill to match the picture on the hub screen. I know that one will be a bit more detailed because you may have to change the screen pixels on the hub to accommodate that but it would be a VERY handy feature and one no one else has with units similar to yours.

Also, the option for "as needed" would be a good addition to this app. If I did not need the second pill box rack for evening pills then I could set that whole rack up with her "as needed" pills and set them on a schedule in the time slots she is allowed to take them, set an alarm and she would have the option, on the hub, to pass or the option to scan, unlock, and take the pills. This would then add to her daily report, what she did and did not use with the "as needed" and would provide me with very vital information as to how often she has been needing those pills each day for her doctors to be informed if it is extensive.

All in all I do love this unit but it just did not have the features I needed for my mother. I hope that what I have posted for you guys is helpful for you all.

There was an error in addressing my initial parcel delivery but this was rectified quickly. My son is regularly taking his twice daily meds since starting with pill drill and the mood tracker is excellent for me to track how he is feeling when I am at work. I am also using it as a wake up alarm for him on mornings where I am away or have to leave early for work.

I've used a couple of competing products and had difficulty with setup, accuracy of timers, and terrible alarms. PillDrill is by far the best in all these aspects. It is both easy and pleasant to use and provides excellent history and record keeping.

My mother-in-law takes medication 5-6 times a day, with different pill combinations at each dose. We couldn't even find a pill box big enough to fit all 5 doses, but the pill drill makes it easy to set her up for the week. Additionally, with the scanner and app, her care team knows when she has taken or missed a dose and can call with reminders as needed. Recently we have had to tweak the medication frequency and are trying to find what works best. The mood cube is a helpful tool here so we can begin to notice patterns and adjust the medication accordingly. I'd definitely recommend this tool for anyone else in a similar boat.

Great system to keep track of medication compliance of family member with mental health issues. Great tracking system with alarm/reminder and status update via text messages. Only drawback is probably due to our home wifi signal; I occasionally need to restart (re-connect) the device to our wifi using an iPhone. Regardless, the dosages and schedule and history are saved on line and can be re-accessed once the wifi connection is established.

Perfect, fits all our needs.

I gave this to my mom as she was having a lot of difficulty being consistent with her medications. This was causing a lot of problems for her and those around her. While she was resistant to using this device at first, eventually she began using it and it has made an enormous improvement in her medication-taking habits and in my ability to monitor them. What a life-saver!

Tremendous device - my 17 year old son had a kidney transplant and needs to take anti-rejection medicine 2x a day at the exact same time every day. This device puts the power in his hands and as long as we receive the notifications we never bother him.

I have been using PillDrill for well over a year now and it has made taking my medicine so much easier. I find that I often am taking it just prior to the alarm going off and remembering to take the pods I will need when I am out and the alarms on the phone remind me if I get distracted. I would recommend Pill Drill to anyone who takes a love of medicine and needs to be reminded. The convenience of having the pods is great as well. I do them up once a week and then have what I need instead of going through bottles every time. I just ordered to more strips to help me with noon and night pills (#5 & 6)

There are times when we miss our medication. Life gets in the way. But with the pill drill I am always on top of my medication. It's by far one of the best investments. As a person living with a chronic illness, I can't afford to miss meds or take them at different times. The pill drill helps me stay on track. I strongly recommend it to anyone who takes meds daily.

Easy setup. Easy teepee used and easy to understand how it works. I wish I would have found this years ago rather than a few months ago but overall have been very satisfied with the Pilldrill.

This product is great!!!!! We no longer worry about our son missing a medication dose. It has always been a concern until now. We also like the mood cube and so does he. It lets us know how he is feeling. This product is very easy to set-up and easy to use. Do not hesitate to buy this for peace of mind.

Wonderful device would definitely recommend.

Without pill drill my father in law would have been in assisted living much longer than he was. We still are relying on it to make sure he’s taking his meds which are critical for his health. Wish I could rate you higher!
