I started following Liz on Instagram a while ago but had been procrastinating about actually joining the beginners course. After my last rounds of very expensive physio,I finally did something about it! The physio had been advising me for some time that I needed to be doing pilates if I wanted to stop the niggling injuries that she kept fixing. I have just done week 2 of the beginners course and I'm absolutely hooked. The latest injury in my hip/lower back is steadily improving,so much so that I'm running again,without pain. I love her straightforward but informative instructions. I tend to hold my breath a lot so the little reminders to breathe are very handy!
I could go on and on but in a nutshell Liz is amazing. Very relatable, knowledgeable and I cannot recommend her enough. I am very much looking forward to subscribing when I finish the beginners course. It's so reassuring to know that I'll never have to look elsewhere for a pilates instructor.

I’m so glad I found Liz’s classes, they are amazing and really helpful. I have seen such a difference in my ability over the last 12 weeks and my running friends have said I look stronger and more confident in my running. If you are a runner you need to do this class and consistency is definitely the key.
I was a beginner to Pilates so felt a bit nervous joining at first but Liz explains everything so well and gives options for different abilities and her classes are so much fun.

Fabulous classes - so imaginative, innovative and varied. It means I don’t tire of doing the same routines. I love being able to choose the time, the type of class and what I want to concentrate on. I started classes to help recover after a running injury This was definitely a good decision as the instruction is very informative and indeed it’s been good to strengthen and help prevent more injuries in the future.
I enjoy the ‘live’ classes which for me are really helpful recordings. Your instruction is superb and with a great personality I rate your classes as 5 ⭐️ on all counts

I started Pilates online in March ‘20 and was lucky enough to find Pilates for runners while searching. As a runner, the sessions on the website have been brilliant and definitely made me stronger & faster. I have subscribed for a year and have access to loads of different sessions. I followed the beginner sessions to start, doing each one about 3x/week. Now I tend to enjoy the shorter 20/30 minute sessions as sometimes I can’t do a whole hour and as a subscriber I can do them as often as I like. Liz explains all the moves, positions and stretches brilliantly and it’s very clear. I cannot recommend the site highly enough. It will definitely improve your running and strength and mobility.

This is a brilliant initiative - Liz is a fabulous instructor who offers various levels for each exercise but will push you to achieve your best.
The Running for Pilates offering suits me so well as I love being able to attend the classes live and ask any questions I might have before, during and after the class. But then I can also catch up on any session I might have missed and redo the sessions as often as I like. Plus Liz's website offers so many options, all of which can be filtered so you can choose exactly the type of workout that you fancy at any given time, from a 10 minute quick hit to a full hour's class.
In fact, I love Liz's classes so much that when I recently changed jobs, I arranged my hours specifically so that I'd be able to join the Monday class!
I also love the various payment options and having tried the classes for a few weeks, switched to the annual payment option, which is such amazingly good value and gives huge flexibility.

I found Pilates for Runners on Instagram by chance early this year. I was looking for something to compliment my new found love of running 😊 I enjoy Pilates, so to find something with a running focus was a bonus!
I love the bite size sessions. There is a good range of sessions to choose from, whether on Instagram, via the website and now YouTube. They’re so easy to fit into working from home/family life.
I’ve seen a definite improvement in my running/posture/breathing and overall well-being!!

I initially joined the 6 week beginner programme and am now a full subscriber. The sessions are so easy to follow and Liz is brilliant at breaking the moves down to a way that works for you. The on demand nature of the platform means I can fit in sessions around my own schedule and I can really feel the benefit of being consistent with it. Thank you Liz.

I purchased Liz's Pilates for Runners Beginners 6 week course, as I find it hard to get to classes near by that the times would sync with my kids activities. As a trail runner this course caught my eye, starting from the beginning was just what I needed right now. It so great with all the support videos of how to do the alignment, breathing and core activation really informative. When I started I really struggled with those little control moves, which was a sign that I so needed this course. You forgot how important these muscle are and even more important when your running. As I progress through the weeks I could start to doing Liz's more advances move. Which was great that you can move from the advance to the beginner moves as Liz would guide you through them with reminders on breathing and alignment.
It really showed how much I had improved in my running and people commented on this too and I was getting faster. The biggest notice was that I wasn't wetting myself anymore while running. You forgot about this because you just put up with it. Well not anymore.

I found Pilates for Runners when I was starting training for a half marathon and was really worried my slightly dodgy hips wouldn't be able to manage running 3+ times a week. Throughout my training I used Liz' pre and post run sessions frequently and did the 1hr weekly session on catch up each week. I got through the whole thing (and completed the half marathon in my hoped-for time) without any injuries or even niggles or aches, I felt better than I had in ages. I'm keeping up the running and the Pilates still and feel it's still doing wonders for my posture and understanding of how I hold myself, much more than other Pilates classes I've done before, and taught me I've still got some way to go on my balance and core strength!

I met Liz at the Running Show and tried her “happy hips” class. As a runner with an arthritic knee I was already into glute activation. Liz delivers the exercises in an engaging way and a 10min session is so beneficial and time suitable. I have just completed the 7 day classes on YouTube. The content was so good I will be revisiting the classes.

I love Liz’s Pilates sessions - I try to do something everyday and am always able to find a session that suits me (even if I only have 10 mins). Liz has so much knowledge especially for runners. I had problems with my knee and was advised by a physio that it was “lazy glutes” and I had to complete certain exercises.
I did try to do these but it’s boring just doing it on your own. So I found Liz on Instagram and started to complete the free videos she made on there.
I then subscribed for a few months to build strength. I found that Liz explained things well and she also seemed approachable. Completing the lessons, taking running slowly and doing some other strength work meant I was able to successfully run the Great South. 😊
I have now signed up for the year! It’s hard work but I know I’m helping my running and sorting my balance. Plus Liz is encouraging during the live classes.
