Fabulous app

Have been using this for a month (wish I'd started earlier) but am beginning to feel the benefits already. Love the short sessions as it makes it so doable on a daily basis

Have only recently discovered Pilates for Runners.

Have only recently discovered PFR (about one month) and new to pilates,
There are a good selection of videos to go with from beginners upwards plus a regular monthly challenge for added interest, also live weekly sessions .
Liz is always at the end of an email if you have issues or questions , with helpful ideas and suggestions.
Very enjoyable, so far.

Training for Ultra

I subscribed to Pilates for Runners about a month ago and absolutely love all the sessions I've done so far. After completing my first 55km Ultra this summer, I entered a 100km event next July. I knew that strengthening my core and doing all I could to avoid training injuries was going to be really important as I stepped things up. After only a month of Pilates for Runners, I feel my form is improving and love the variety of sessions. It's quickly become an important part of my training routine.

Highly recommend Pilates for Runners

I subscribed to Pilates for Runners through the app and am so glad I did. One month in and I can already feel that I am getting stronger and have less pain in my hips after running. Liz is a great instructor giving excellent descriptions of the moves to ensure you are getting the stretch and working the right muscles. The app is well organised and easy to use and Liz is very active responding to any questions on comments you may have. Highly recommended.

A great programme for runners and non runners

I echo what others have said. This is a great programme of sessions for becoming stronger and more stable when running (although I'm sure it would have huge benefits for non-runners too). The monthly challenges help to give a focus and avoid the confusion about what to do and I'm planning to start the marathon plan soon. You can choose short sessions on days when you don't have much time so it's easy to fit in. Highly recommended.

Loving it 😊

I completed a taster session with liz and decided to sign up for the yearly subscription. I’m just on my second month now but really enjoying it as well as seeing positive benefits. I was worried that there would be too many to choose from but the monthly programmes are excellent for providing me with a schedule to follow. Looking forward to many more sessions!

I’ve been subscribing to Pilates for over a year

I’ve been subscribing to Pilates for Runners for over a year now, it’s brilliant - I first discovered Liz’s targeted sessions through a taster series last year and have found it a really helpful addition to my training. I immediately noticed the benefits - including core strength and improvements in single leg stability & power. There is such a range of workouts (from 10 mins to 1 hour) on the app where you can choose specific areas to strengthen up, such as hamstrings, glutes, calfs, etc. There’s such a lot of variety on there it’s like a workout library - including a marathon preparation series and also lots of post-run stretch sessions. I’ve found it’s a handy way to get inspiration and add some range to what you already do. The stretch sessions give you chance to work on flexibility and to carve out some structured time to reset - it all adds to building stronger as a runner. I always find that Liz is great at explaining the exercises and makes sessions accessible and engaging. As a runner herself, specialising in trail, she knows exactly what runners need and comes up with interesting and varied classes - she always brings the workouts to life. I would highly recommend trying it out.

Warmly recommended for runners and those doing sedentary work

I've done Pilates for runners with Liz for a about six months now and I'm completely hooked. The sessions are clear, easy to follow and efficient. The search functions make it easy to find a suitable session and ready-made programmes make life easy for a beginner like me. I particularly like that I have my pilates sessions with me on my travels, too. My running has become easier, I have had no strain injuries since I started with Liz and my mobility has never been better, not even when I was at school donkeys years ago. Thanks to Pilates for Runners, my quality of life has improved as I have much less, nearly none of the posture problems I used to have due to sedentary work. Liz is a very competent, clear and encouraging instructor - and very nice. She also has some sort of a sixth sense and seems to know when extra cheering is needed or when I forget to relax or breath - quite a remarkable skill, taking into consideration that I have only used recorded sessions due to time difference =)

Fitter and stronger than ever before

I recently completed the marathon ready plan and, for the first time, I haven’t had a single injury during a training block and recovered quicker even after a big PB. Liz’s sessions are challenging but each is different and they are easy to fit into your routine. They have made me stronger and fitter than ever and I can’t thank Liz enough! It’s also loads cheaper than a gym membership - highly recommend.

A must for runners

I started using Pilates for Runners after an injury that prevented me from running a planned marathon. I know I always should have done strength and mobility work but love running and just never got round to it, probably like many runners! Been consistently using Liz's programmes since November 2022, and have had no injuries since then and I'm 60. Ran Manchester marathon in 2023 and got Good for Age time for London. Just run London 2024 for my 60th birthday. The most amazing experience and got qualifying time for all majors. I followed Liz's marathon plan which has a good mix of strength and mobility. Liz is an excellent teacher. Love the way she explains the exercises and how they relate to running. The app is very easy to use and the structure really helps me with the consistency. Pilates Newbie…

I have recently started the beginners program with Liz and very much enjoy her gentle and encouraging approach to teaching. As a complete newbie to Pilates I have gained confidence with each session and look forward to learning more.

Liz's Pilates is GREAT!

I've done Pilates with Liz for over 3 years and I now have the annual membership. I find her classes really helpful with different levels for each exercise depending on how much you want to push yourself. Importantly her Pilates keep me relatively injury free. Most of all, Liz is just incredibly helpful - always there if you need a 1:1 chat or a bespoke exercise/advice.

All runners need Pilates for Runners

Great website and app. Easy to navigate. The on demand classes are well structured and range in duration so if you just want a quick 10 minute session you can easily find one. You can do as you please selecting from the many sessions available or follow a structured grouping of sessions such as the autumn challenge which is running currently. You can also do live sessions if you prefer. There is something for everyone and Liz explains and demonstrates the why's and wherefores really well. She is also very responsive to any questions you might ask.
I joined Pilates for Runners after following Liz on Instagram for a while as I always found her content interesting and relevant. I've suffered with injuries a lot and so have a love/hate relationship with running so as I've only recently decided to give running a good go again I decided I really needed to work on my weak areas and Pilates for Runners is definitely helping me with that.
Highly recommended.

I’m really enjoying Liz’s sessions

I’m really enjoying Liz’s sessions. I’m about a month in and am loving it. I feel stronger, have improved my running form and love the variety of stretches in the mobility sessions. I’m excited to move on to the other programmes when I have finished the beginners series. Thank you Liz for such enjoyable, accessible sessions :)

Noticeable results

This is such a good training option. The sessions are ample, varied and well-designed. The website is easy to use, and Liz is an excellent teacher.

8 weeks into my Pilates for Runners subscription:
My hip pain has improved
Referred knee pain is subsiding
I’m limping less
My weak side hip strength and stability are much better
My weak side timed single leg stand is 150% longer

Nothing else I’ve tried for my long term hip issue has been as effective. I’m so glad I signed up.

Best money I’ve spent

I started my subscription to ‘Pilates for Runners’ when my physio advised adding in some Pilates. And it has been the best money I’ve ever spent on anything running-related. During a long recovery from covid related joint problems, the variety of sessions kept me sane and motivated! Liz gives clear instructions and makes it accessible for beginners like me (as well as giving plenty of progressions for when you are ready). Pilates for Runners has become part of my routine and I am so pleased I found it.

Perfect addition to a runners training

As a runner who's always neglected strength/mobility work, I've found Pilates for Runners an ideal way to include them in my training. I started around 6 months ago, having had persistent calf issues for a couple of years. I've been injury free ever since, having done anything from 2-5 of Liz's sessions each week. There's a huge variety of sessions and I find it particularly useful that many are broken down into shorter sessions with a specific focus. Nothing can replace having a teacher in the room to correct you, but Liz gives such good explanations and form cues that it does often feel like she's talking directly to me and can see my form going wrong!! If you're unsure of which sessions to do there's options of a weekly plan or several longer 4-6 week plans. I found the 6 week Run stronger plan a great way to keep consistency up when I first started. And the mobility and roller sessions are great for recovery. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Pilates for Runners as a great way to stay injury free, maintain or gain general core strength and mobility and help your running form and general posture. Excellent value for money too.

Great sessions and customer service.

Can’t praise Liz highly enough. The sessions are great and easy to fit into a running schedule. I’ve gone from an injury to getting back to half Ironman. The best subscription I’ve had in a long time.

Really enjoying Pilates for Runners…

Really enjoying Pilates for Runners since I started a few weeks ago. I can definitely see a difference in my general aches and pains when running! Great that you can do anything from a 10 min stretch to a 60 min strength session!

Brilliant range of sessions to fit around a busy schedule

A friend recommended Pilates for Runners after I was complaining of a niggly back. I started following Liz on Instagram and quickly signed up to the 7 day free trial. I bought a membership as soon as this ended and haven't looked back. The website has a huge range of sessions of various lengths, targeting different areas and there's even filters so you can search specifically for sessions focusing on an area you're keen to work on. Every session feels fresh and new and Liz is a really down to earth and engaging teacher. The on demand feature makes it so easy to fit in sessions around a busy family schedule and Liz has been amazing at replying to emails to help tailor sessions to meet my niggly back needs! An amazing service and I would highly recommend.
