From the moment we contacted the company we had nothing but great service. The whole process was smooth sailing. We spoke to someone on Tuesday morning and Harrison contacted us through out the day informing of an arrival time. Due to us needing the car fixed urgently, he arrived at 9pm an got the job done. Really nice bloke. So happy with the service. Thanks again!

Absolutely scam of a company
Absolutely scam of a company. STAY WELL AWAY IF YOU LIKE YOUR CAR WORKING. Had them come out to make me a new key. When he arrived locksmith was extremely rude demanding I give him £50 and he’s going to go without making the key. Finally convinced him to make me a key which when I spoke on the phone to one of the managers on shift who promised they could do it key all fine. Locksmith admitted over text he did not sync the modules after I even told him on job site to do. I have a witness for this. Bear in mind I have a ‘12 month warranty’ on the key.. after 2 days the modules fall so badly out of sync the car will not start at all. Tried to get in contact to resolve. Told I will be contacted the next day. Surprise no messages and since then every message I have sent has been read and ignored. States in their own terms and conditions that they will fix any problems or give refunds. They do not. Please don’t waste your money on this rude scam of a company… 9 days since I made my first complaint about the key. No updates no reply’s. Nothing. The only response I get is to a review!! Absolutely bs company. Would not accept they was wrong at all. Had a professional locksmith come out and confirm it was the modules out of sync due to the old key!!!! There for a sync and new key would of fixed everything. But they didn’t sync and then wouldn’t rectify it!!! Do not use!!!! Also Daniel didn’t offer to stand down. He demanded I paid a extra £50 ontop of the £92 deposit and he wanted to leave me with nothing so that’s professional way of dealing with people? Promising you can do the work and when turning up demanding extra fees which was never mentioned??? That’s called bullying. When speaking to the manager over the phone he was certain they could fix it… just want to add aswell this company will lie though there teeth. Both keys was not working. The original key was broken confirmed by your locksmith… this company will lie and lie. They offfer a warranty but take 9 days to even response to your complaints.

You originally contacted us requesting a new key because your existing one was not starting the vehicle. Upon arrival, our technician, Daniel M, tested your car and found that the engine was cranking. This indicates the car was recognising the key, and therefore the fault was not related to the key, but more likely a vehicle-side issue such as wiring, immobiliser, or ECU.
Daniel explained this to you clearly and even offered to stand down without proceeding, but you declined and insisted we make a new key, believing the original key was at fault. As requested, Daniel removed the vehicle’s EWS4 module and programmed a key using the correct procedure — reading data directly from the module.
Initially, due to the car's underlying fault, neither the new nor the old key started the car. However, shortly after, both keys began working, which supports our position that this was never a key issue.
A few days later, the issue reappeared — again consistent with a vehicle fault, not a faulty key. The key was created correctly and continues to hold valid coding, but as we advised, a failing module or immobiliser system can intermittently block starting regardless of key integrity.
We strongly dispute your version of events, particularly the accusation of rudeness or refusal to help. Daniel acted professionally and transparently throughout and made multiple attempts to explain the situation.
We are satisfied that this matter was handled correctly and professionally and will not be issuing a refund. However, we remain happy to share the full history and technical explanation with any third-party mediator or bank should you choose to escalate.
We wish you the best with resolving the ongoing issue with your vehicle.

What a lovely guy and a great service. I rang in a panic this morning, he talked me through the issues and some solutions - and we found one. He then sent me a message to check all was ok and wish me well. And he didn’t charge a penny. Clearly one of the good guys and will go back to him next time there’s an issue, would be more than happy to pay if needed!

I made the nightmare mistake of opening my car boot only and putting items in my boot along with my car keys and shutting it. This happened on Tuesday 22nd July afternoon away from my home and in a compound that was only accessible 8:30 am - 5:00pm and sadly my spare got lost some months back.
Living rurally presents lots of problems for getting call outs to attend but I finally got someone to come on Wednesday . Unfortunately for genuine reasons he was unable to complete the job. Thursday I sat on a train to London spending the whole journey trying to find someone else. At a point of desperation after nearly 2 hours of phone calls and despair I found Phoenix Car Keys.
I was talking to a very comforting lady (apologies I can’t remember her name) but she was so reassuring and promised to get it sorted for me. I then had another conversation with Miles again just calming and super polite and friendly . Because of complexities with my vehicle lock we agreed that Harrison would come today(Sat) at 8:30 am and by 8:45 I was back in possession of my car keys… such a huge relief.
Everything dealing with Phoenix was excellent, very reassuring and professional. They are completely transparent about their charges, once you agree to call out they send you an invoice immediately via WhatsApp and you pay an agreed deposit via a link to confirm booking. Once job is completed you pay locksmith the agreed balance .
Thank you Phoenix Car Keys for helping me out, truly appreciated.

Responded quickly, came in two hours, very polite and efficient. All done an hour later. Mercedes could not get a new ignition barrel for at least a month. Would highly recommend.

New van keys
I called needing 2 new keys for my van. They answered straight away, gave me a price, to which I agreed. Their technician, Vlad, rang me within 15 minutes and arranged to meet me at my next job. He arrived when he said he would and I had 2 new keys within 20 minutes.

Initially my steering wheel was locked…
Initially my steering wheel was locked and I couldn’t get my car to start after searching and being quoted ridiculous amounts by other companies and even questioning some of the integrity towards pricing. Pheonox were able to give me a quote on the spot and arrived next day afternoon. Although there was no indication of when arrival was going to be (just late afternoon) maybe they could give rough time in future, in the end arrival was around 18:20PM. Other than that the chap came and fixed the ignition barrel and new key was given. And was given 12 month warranty on the part which was good. Would definitely recommend especially if you need urgent repair. Thank you again.

Just used this service and I’d say only use if you want the worst customer service and you would like to be ripped off. My job was booked for 8am due to me having work at 11.30. I had to wait until 10.06 for the locksmith to come due to his van breaking down. I was told the job was £245+VAT but did not know how much the VAT was until the last minute. I called to just let them know how exactly I’ll be paying, not having an issue with the VAT but just trying to understand where I’m dyslexic. I was verbally attacked not even having the opportunity to reply. I reassured the person on the phone I had no issue with paying but his reply was “The driver will remove the ignition barrel”. I even pleaded that we spoke to me with the same respect I was giving him but could not even finish me sentence. I ended up clearing the balance and being late for work. I paid £294. I’d advice anyone to buy the part you want next time , if to do with ignition barrel it’s around £40-90 on EBay depending on car, then paying a locksmith labour, which would not even touch the sides of what I paid. The actual job was no longer than 30mins. I had patience and understood the reason why the driver was late, but when I wanted to enquire about the VAT I was shut down and told the driver would dismantle my ignition barrel. I have the proof for everything also.

Payment Discussion: When you contacted us, our team simply reiterated that the remaining balance of £180 was due at the time of service completion. This is part of our booking policy and helps protect both our engineers and our business. We’re sorry if this conversation felt rushed or if the tone came across as anything other than professional.
Job Duration, Parts & Value: While the on-site time may have been short, our pricing reflects more than just labour. We do not source low-cost parts found for £40 online — we only use reliable, high-quality components that are compatible with your vehicle and come with a full 12-month warranty. The service also includes mobile convenience, diagnostics, programming tools, and ongoing aftercare, which eBay parts and labour-only services do not provide.

Rang for quotes for a spare key for my evoque, pheonix were comfortably the best price I got quoted, there service has been very professional and they’re very responsive, contacting them through what’s app. I paid the deposit and was imminently contacted by their locksmith Andy who booked me in at a time that was convenient for me, he arrived on time, was very professional and very good at his job, I would 1000% recommend this company if anyone is looking for a new car key/keys wether that’s because you’ve lost yours or need a spare, I will be a returning customer for the future now, 6 months warranty on the key too which is great, many thanks to pheonix and to Andy!
