Refined Leadership
I especially valued the professor’s purposeful instruction, which connected leadership theory to complex realities. Learning alongside an accomplished group of professionals enriched each discussion and fostered meaningful exchanges of experience, perspective, and scholarship. The combination of rigorous instruction and peer insight made the course both intellectually challenging and highly relevant to my continued development.

Thank you - but no thank you - I'm not coming back.
To be honest, it's been a bit of hit and miss along the way. I love the University of Phoenix, I love the program and the cadence, and what it affords us as students (the opportunity to attend college while working full-time and that we can earn our degrees). This program, though, has been an eye-opener and sadly, not in a way that I think you'll appreciate.
Every class is inundated with >80% of students submitting AI-generated responses to discussion questions, and the same mundane replies AI can formulate. When a class of 29 students writes replies, and 12 of them are all about the same company, something is wrong. That just screams academic fraud is running rampant throughout the classrooms.
I took it upon myself to capture EVERY DQ post and reply from classes 1 through 9, and the results are quite astounding: over 75% of the student body has used AI in their participation postings while at the university.
Who knows what kind of AI-generated materials are being submitted as far as summative assignments are concerned? That leads one to wonder what grades the students are receiving, and whether they are valid or simply the result of submitting AI-generated work.
What's worse? When the instructors use AI to draft replies and grade papers. It doesn't feel like we're getting our money's worth; we're simply paying six-week installment payments just to purchase a piece of paper with the University of Phoenix's letterhead and embossing on it.
I have had the privilege of discussing my concerns with Katherine Uhles of the University, and she is well aware of them. However, in her replies, it was conveyed that the University did not conclude that the instructors violated minimum faculty requirements. Dean Uhles acknowledged legitimate opportunities to improve grading feedback and classroom engagement and agreed to review my examples further. She also clarified that University policy imposes significant restrictions on faculty use of AI and requires suspected student AI misuse to be handled privately through established procedures. The underlying concern throughout my correspondence is that inconsistent faculty engagement and extensive AI use could undermine the educational experience and perceived value of the MBA program, but I truly feel that nothing will come of this, and all of this was just wasted keystrokes on a keyboard.
While I had toyed with returning to the University of Phoenix for a Master of Science in Information Technology, the latest experience has soured me enough to decide I won't return to the University of Phoenix once my degree is completed at the end of December, in large part due to the zero enforcement of AI-generated work being submitted by the students of the University of Phoenix. It just feels like, why bother? The University just wants the money at the end of the day, and they don't really care that >80% of the student body are just faking their way along, completing the tasks with GPT, CoPilot, or whatever AI engine they use, and as long as they meet the timelines and obligations, they get what they want, and the university gets the money.
Win - Win? Perhaps, but not in my eyes. Thanks.

The UOPX program is tailor-made for me
The UOPX program is tailor-made for me. It’s structured so each course leads into the next, and each week focuses on important issues that prepare me for more challenging (Math) subjects. I am halfway through and feel confident of succeeding with my associate's degree after many years.

Versatility of the program was the best part, aside from that I enjoyed working around the teacher schedules it helped put me in a position to be successful
perfect for moms
very learning and helpful , especially with parents with busy lives
The classes are perfect, but
The classes are perfect! It's the counselors. I'm a veterans and the service officers have nooo clue about anything and constantly gives conflicting information, which leaves the veteran in a battle between them and the VA

University of phoenix online has been the most helpful, easy to navigate, fun and interactive school I've found. They are so great that I am going back for a bachelor degree and I've recommended them to everyone I know that might be looking into going back to school. I'm blessed and very thankful I found the university of Phoenix for sure
Horrible experience
It’s a
Money grab. I had to take a leave of absence and your making me pay for the course twice when I have not even completed the course yet I’m on 2 weeks into it.
Not to mention all the courses that don’t have anything to do with my degree.

Fantastic program
Fantastic program! Everything from inquiry to now what is my second year, the level of support and assistance that is available has been nothing short of amazing. A well organized, well staffed, thorough and efficient organization.
Communication was very challenging
Communication was very challenging. I had accommodations , yet most instructors didn’t know the rules!
I had to pay for a class twice because of misinformation given by numerous staff.
Overall it spent house on the phone trying to get the correct answers.
I would not refer anyone to this school

DO NOT GO HERE
If you are looking for an online school, PASS this one by!!!! You will NEVER receive your excess funds, that many of us depend on in a reasonable amount of time! When you call in you will get so many EXCUSES!!!! They receive their disbursement, but when they send you your excess, they will be in no hurry! I am not the only person that this happens to. I have a close friend, and hers was held OVER A MONTH!!! Do yourself a favor and do NOT attend this college!

Run choose a better school that disperses aid on time
If you have a choice to choose between schools and programs do yourself a favor and don't choose this one aid is never released on time they always have an excuse for why it's not none of them are actually legitimate excuses when you see a school having issues every time it comes to disbursement it shows they're not managing their money and it makes me concerned if they're using our money to help pay for those lawsuits because that's the first thing that we research when we don't get our aid on time they always call when you say you have a problem just because they like their reviews but they never fixed the issue I will definitely be transferring to a better University in the spring nobody wants to have to worry about federal student aid while you're trying to maintain your GPA raise your children and in my case the hospitalized I depend on my aid to pay for the hours that I need to go to class because they have no access to the internet in this Hospital while they're doing construction when you express your concerns to the school they pacify them like it's nothing I will not be allowing this school to use my academic scores I think I want to take it somewhere where I'm appreciated and where I won't have to worry about my financial aid because yet again nobody else has this problem and when you call them I literally recorded 15 different lies nobody has the same story but integrity means a lot to me

I'm speaking from the aspect of a previous student and a current student. What makes the experience great for me is the flexibility to participate in my learning at my convenience. My education fits well with my work schedule and I'm able to stay on track. Knowing that the instructors are there to support and respond to emails, private messages, and phone calls in a timely manner really means a lot. It shows concern and care about our educational journey! I've been a student here across degree programs and is currently pursuing my Doctorate. I didn't hesitate to register with this University again because of the wonderful experiences I've had. My previous programs were rigorous and made me a better student overall! At each commencement ceremony, I was proud to be a part of the class and the school! There's no other place I'd rather be to complete my final educational journey! I recommend University of Phoenix to anyone who is considering to further their education!
The communication between student and…
The communication between student and academic advisors are very poor. Minimal support from the clinical coordinator in finding preceptors for clinical, to the point where I had to defer my pediatric class for 6 weeks which resulted in me being dropped from the school, and my financial aid being sent back.

The educational experience was great
The educational experience was great. I would encourage more virtual meetings/collaborations. The administrative experience was a little chaotic.
Great Master's Program
The use of the program curriculum and seamless navigation of the classroom.
University of Phoenix is very helpful
University of Phoenix is very helpful. They will call you once a week to check on you and to see if there's anything that they can help to assist you with. I am very grateful to the University of Phoenix for giving me a chance at 50 years of age to come back and work on my Bachelor's degree in Business. I'm praying that I succeed and graduate from the UOP and find a good-paying job in my field. Thank you, guys.
