Crear una cuenta y presentar una solicitud para ser cuidador en Petme es gratuito. Una vez revisada y aprobada la solicitud, se aplica una tarifa única que cubre tanto la revisión manual de la candidatura por parte de nuestro equipo como las comprobaciones de identidad y antecedentes. No se trata de una cuota de inscripción, una suscripción ni un pago por conseguir reservas.

Entendemos que quieras conocer las condiciones antes de invertir tiempo en tu solicitud. Por eso, explicamos el proceso y sus requisitos en nuestro Centro de Ayuda (https://help.petme.social/es/pet-sitters/getting-started/antes-de-solicitar), así como en nuestra web y en las Condiciones del Servicio, que se presentan durante el proceso de solicitud.

Estas comprobaciones forman parte de nuestro compromiso con una comunidad en la que los cuidadores puedan desarrollar su negocio y los dueños tengan más confianza a la hora de elegir a alguien para cuidar de sus mascotas. Sabemos que confiar el cuidado de un miembro de la familia a otra persona es una decisión importante, y nos tomamos esa responsabilidad muy en serio.

Creating a sitter account and applying to join Petme is free, and so is using Petme as a pet parent. Once an application has been reviewed and approved, a one-time fee covers the manual review of the application, as well as the sitter’s ID and background checks.

This is about more than an ID check. Every application requires time and resources from our team, and these checks are an important part of building a community where pet parents can feel more confident about whom they invite to care for their pets. We want sitters to have the opportunity to build their business on Petme, and pet parents to have greater peace of mind when choosing someone to care for a member of their family.

We also want applicants to know what to expect before getting started. Our Help Center explains the process and associated requirements step by step: https://help.petme.social/pet-sitters/getting-started/before-you-apply. This information is also available on our website and in our Terms of Service throughout the application process.

vielen Dank für dein Feedback. Es tut uns leid, dass dir die Registrierung zunächst umständlich erschienen ist.

Unser Support-Team hat auf alle vier deiner E-Mails jeweils innerhalb von weniger als 5 Minuten geantwortet und dir genau erklärt, welche Schritte noch erforderlich sind.

Damit dein Sitter-Profil für Tierhalter sichtbar wird und diese dich für deine Services buchen können, musst du zunächst deine Services und Preise einrichten. Die Identitäts- und Hintergrundprüfung ist ebenfalls ein notwendiger Schritt, den alle unsere Sitter durchlaufen. Schließlich möchten Tierhalter darauf vertrauen können, dass ihre geliebten Vierbeiner in sicheren und verantwortungsvollen Händen sind.

Die Gebühr von 19,90 € deckt diesen Prüfprozess ab und wird nicht für die reine Registrierung berechnet.

Wir hoffen, dass diese Erklärung dir hilft, den Ablauf besser einzuordnen, und dass du dein Profil nun erfolgreich fertigstellen kannst. Unser Support-Team hilft dir selbstverständlich gerne weiter, falls noch etwas unklar ist.

The verification fee covers the full verification process, including your identity check, background check, a manual review of your application by our team, reaching out to your references, and the technical and administrative resources required to carry out these checks.

These processes take real time, effort and resources. We deliberately invest in them because pet parents are entrusting us with something incredibly important: the safety and wellbeing of their beloved pets. They need to be able to feel confident about the people offering pet-sitting services through Petme.

The recommendations you mentioned also serve an important purpose. They help us verify that a sitter genuinely has the experience they claim to have and give us insight into how they have cared for and treated animals in the past.

Together, these checks allow us to build a community where pet parents can have greater peace of mind when choosing a sitter. We understand that this may feel like a more involved process than simply signing up for an app, but that is precisely because we take the responsibility of connecting people with pet sitters seriously.

Pet parents browse sitter profiles and reach out to the people they feel they can trust and who seem like the right fit for their pets. Petme provides you with the visibility and tools to showcase your experience and services, but we can’t make that decision for pet parents or direct bookings to a specific profile.

What we can do is put you in front of the right people and give you the tools to turn that visibility into bookings. A complete profile, detailed experience, good reviews and activity on the platform can all help pet parents feel more confident reaching out.
