Saving of nearly 50% compared to renewal quote from existing policy.. and same cover, apart from now paying 20% towards vet bills etc which I'm happy about - they'll cover 80% of bills and I get reduced monthly payments

5* Customer service
Customer service at Petgevity when I phoned to sort my dogs insurance renewal was amazing. The woman (R) I spoke to today was not only very helpful, she was lovely to talk to and dealt with my query promptly and resolved the matter all over the phone.
This is my third year with Petgevity and they are always competitive on price too.

There are several reasons why premiums can increase at renewal. As pets get older, the likelihood of illness or injury generally increases, which can affect the cost of cover. If you have made a claim during your policy term, this may also have an impact on your premium.
In addition, veterinary fees and treatment costs continue to rise across the industry, affecting all policyholders rather than individual cases alone. We regularly review our pricing to remain competitive, but factors such as changes in government taxes, increasing medication and treatment costs, and wider veterinary inflation have made it necessary to adjust our premiums to ensure we can continue providing sustainable cover for our customers.
That said, there may be options available to help reduce your premium, such as increasing your excess or bill share, or adjusting your level of veterinary fee cover.

Hannah needs a raise!
Hannah was amazing. She took 40 minutes to properly explain everything and find me cover best suited to my pets. In this day and age its so unheard of that an insurer will take the time to go through everything with you, so Hannah is a credit to the team. She's knowledgeable, personable, friendly and empathetic. She deserves a raise or at least a bonus!

Shop around at renewal time
Was given a ridiculous renewal premium which suddenly dropped when I challenged the increase. Give me your cheapest renewal 1st time next year or I’ll be going elsewhere. Great company for pet insurance but this was very disappointing.

Been with petgevity for couple of years…
Been with petgevity for couple of years now. Claimed a fair bit last year & my annual price on renewal went up just the smallest amount! I was pleasantly surprised. They always settle claims pretty quick too. Will defo be staying with them for years to come.
