Bus was an hour late picking us up in Lima. It finally arrived, and we were told to pick a seat at the back of the bus when we paid extra for reserved seats at the front. Luckily we argued and got them. The whole day we were in catch-up mode because of the early delay. Islas Ballestas was cool but super touristy (didn't expect that). Diego was great - he gave really good basic instructions prior to each stop. It would have been nice that we knew the Pisco Tour stop meant we had to pay for the food, lots of passengers were equally surprised and were talking about that.

Dunes part was cool but I recorded a total of 15 minutes of actual "drive time" on the dunes. Diego made a great toast.

On the way home another delay leaving Huacachina. Once again, we had reserved seating issues, we board the bus and people are in our seats. The guide is asked us to use different ones when we specifically reserved 3 & 4... The people were then asked to be moved, to which they did, however it was just annoying.

In conclusion, the price of the tour was reasonable; good value, fun/good english speaking guides, a few slight hiccups, but would probably recommend this tour to friends but with a "Very touristy" warning.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Arturo! From start to finish, his communication was top-notch, making everything seamless. He went the extra mile by taking incredible photos and videos of us throughout the tour, allowing us to just relax and enjoy the moment. I recently travelled with Peruhop on the 'deep south' itinerary. I did it over 8 days. It was an excellent way to travel and I would thoroughly recommend it.
As an older person, travelling solo for the first time in many years, Perhop put my mind at rest when they collected me and dropped me off at my accomodation. I found this a very safe, efficient and convenient way to travel.
I arranged my own accomodation but did buy their tours along the way, which slotted nicely into the timetable I had chosen.
Communication was excellent in general though sometimes the information came after 9pm when I was already sleeping but I got it in the morning. I also made sure I was aware of my itinerary as the times are also there for you to view.
All hosts were very good, particularly Mar who I had for most of my trip ( Lima to Arequipa) she was on the ball and always happy to help in her cheerful upbeat manner.
There was a couple of long hall trips which I feel would have benefited a movie to be played to break the trip up and help pass the time, especially the early part of the evening of the overnight ride.
But otherwise, as already mentioned, I would totally recommend Peruhop as part of your travel in Peru.

Peru hop is easy, cheap and funny way to travel around in south Peru/north Bolivia.
We did the trip; Cusco - Puno - Copacabana - La Paz - Copacabana - Puno - Arequipa - Huacachina - Paracas - Lima.
Everything was well organized and our bus guides were amazing: Majorie, Andres, Jean Pierre and Deborah (Forrest). They were super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
For example Deborah who taught us about the history of Nazca lines, the slave tunnels etc.
And Andres whom had a very smart system of pickups in La Paz, sharing his live position, so you knew when to get picked up.

We had bus problems when we went from Puno to Arequipa and got a regular bus instead of a night bus. But we got a tour as compensation.
And there was some flooding in the south when we were going from Arequipa, so we had to stay there one more night than planned. But they rebooked us for the day after instead.
Really recommend Peru hop!

Great service and great buses. We had a wonderful experience. Boris was a terrific host as were all of the others we encountered.

Overall it was as advertised and great. I was especially impressed by the WhatsApp responsiveness of the main office, and i liked the bus WhatsApp group led by the guide. The instructions and details from the bus guide to coordinate different activities and destinations was excellent. Areas for improvement: the morning of pickup, our hotel, which is one of the pickup points, wasn't listed on the group chat, and we ended up wandering down the street to where we saw a bus on the next block, which then directed us to the correct bus a little further away--this was not ideal, especially with luggage. Upon arrival in Puno, we were supposed to be dropped at the main meeting point at Hotel Nayra's, where our taxi to the port was awaiting us, but instead the bus stopped a few streets away and dropped us where we had to walk about 7 minutes dragging our luggage to the instead.

Peru Hop was a great option for our trip to Huacachina and made the entire experience relatively stress-free. The organization and communication were excellent, and we always felt like we knew what was coming next.

That said, I can’t say enough about how outstanding our tour guide, Yeli, was. She arrived early for our 5 a.m. pickup and greeted us with a smile. My wife and I were still getting ourselves together when she arrived, but she waited patiently and politely without making us feel rushed in the slightest. It set the tone for the day.

Throughout the tour she kept everyone well informed, both through announcements and clear step-by-step messages on WhatsApp, so there was never a moment where we wondered what the next step was.

What stood out most, however, was her professionalism in a difficult moment. At one point she had to address another guest whose disruptive behavior on the bus was affecting the experience of others nearby. It was clearly an uncomfortable situation, yet she handled it with remarkable poise. Even when the guest responded with inaccurate accusations, she remained calm, respectful, and composed. She simply explained how the behavior was impacting others and managed to de-escalate the situation without raising her voice or losing her professionalism. That kind of composure is rare.

Yeli worked an incredibly long day—from a 5 a.m. pickup until nearly midnight—yet her energy, patience, and positivity never faded. The consistency of her attitude from beginning to end speaks to something deeper than training. It’s clear she takes genuine pride in her work and cares about the experience of the people she’s guiding.

Employees like Yeli are the kind that elevate a company’s reputation in ways that are hard to quantify. Peru Hop already runs a well-organized service, but guides like her are what make the experience memorable.

My hat is off to Yeli. She played a big part in making our trip as enjoyable as it was.

Peru Hop was a great experience. You have thought out everything so carefully. And your guides on the bus are FANTASTIC. We had Nilo and Lisbeth from Lima to Nazca. Nilo's passion for the Inca culture, history, and philosophy was inspiring. I loved all the stops but expecially the Hacienda with the slave passage underneath. But we loved everything -- especially the comraderie, going out to dinners together in Paracas and Arequipa, lunch at the winery, the blankets on the bus. You have great care for all your guests and it was very wonderful. Thank you.

Very easy and well organized! Got all necessary information continously through What’sApp, and our guide Yeli was very sweet and pleasant, gave just the right amount of information on the bus when we at times were tired, and made sure the trip and activities was well organized and ran smoothly. Extremely happy with Yeli!!

Peru Hop is an extremely well organised tour service.

We could not fault Peru Hop and highly recommend their tour services.

We went in February and the weather was warm and the crouds small and there was plenty of room on the bus.

We decided to book the Get To Cusco Quick, 3 day option from Lima to Cusco to see a bit of the country and to help acclimatise with the altitude.

If you have time, book the longer option as its a long trip on the overnight bus from Nazca to Cusco.

The buses are good condition, comfortable touring buses.

Communication from the office and tour guide was always very prompt and clear and was always on schedule.

This is more a tour operator than a bus service with some included tour stops on the way and some optional extra tours at a reasonable price.

We were given very good information and recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed our trip and highly recommend the sunset 4WD and boat trip at Paracas.

Peru is such a beautiful diverse country and Peru Hop Bus gave us the chance to see some of the country with a no stress option.

Elmer was the best tour guide I have traveled with. He seems to have a genuine care for the guest experience, and was also knowledgeable on the history and cukture and able to provide suggestions for things to do upon our return to Lima and even help us secure reservations.

The guides were so helpful going above and beyond

Peru Hop was excellent, we will definitely be looking to use their services in other countries. They were so responsive ahead of time, and always right on time. Guides were super fun, Elmer was there for a lot of our route and he was a wealth of information and recommendations. My husband spent the day with him and a big group in Arequipa trying fruits at the market and doing a tour around the city and had a blast. In hindsight, I would have booked tours through Peru Hop as much as possible - they are very thoughtful about who they partner with, and our experiences on tours booked through PH were consistently great. We loved our experience, and it helped take some of the intimidation out of a first international trip without compromising our ability to make the trip our own!

Each of the guides we’ve had on our trip has been so easy to communicate with and full of information about the tours and places we’ve been to.
It’s honestly been such a reliable and flexible service especially given the issues with weather disruptions we experienced on our trip.
The buses themselves have been super comfortable and clean. The service itself has made this part of our bag packing experience really easy and enjoyable; definitely takes the pressure off from organising transport and that.
