We do try to remain as competitive as possible when it comes to pricing, until March of this year we had not implemented any price increase for over 2-years. Unfortunately due to the ever increasing costs of material we had to increase prices this year, however always try to keep any increases to a minimum.

Hendersons were extremely helpful in finding and ordering correct parts for our old garage doors. They looked at our photos and decided correctly what we needed. The parts arrived in good time. Unfortunately they were unable to fix them for us but the part they played was the most difficult one. A well experienced company

Replacement for lock which was 30+ yrs…
Replacement for lock which was 30+ yrs old (used daily). New lock arrived on time / as described. Looks to be of comparable quality to the last. Needed to file down the “cam” a little to fit. Took about 90 seconds. Not a problem if you’ve a file (!). Can imagine some people not feeling the same (i.e. the sort of people who don’t appreciate the difficulties in manufacturing an item to fit doors produced over a period of many decades). No complaints on my part though.

In some cases there may be a little make do and mend to do due to the age of the doors. However, it is great to hear you were able to get your Henderson garage door functioning again.

My garage door is 40 years old
My garage door is 40 years old. Recently one of the rollers became detached, so before I bought a complete door, I checked out the parts situation. Henderson gave me clear advice on a new roller assembly. Even though it needed a slight modification, it was a good fit and now I have a perfectly operating door good enough for many more years. Misdescribed and overly expensive floor guides
I bought torpedo floor guides described on your website ss stainless steel. They turned out to be polymer masterial. They were very very expensive , much more so than the standard mild steel units. The web site catalogue was completely misdleading and I thought in the end I had paid far too much much for cheaply produced polymer units.

We have spoke on the phone regarding this matter and it was explained the stainless steel refers to the fixings not the guide, we agreed the description was misleading and it has already been updated on the website. It was also explained the body of the guide is a special polymer designed to withstand external weather conditions. If you would like to return the guide for a refund and source a less expensive alternative please advise and we can arrange that for you.
