I booked through comparetheairportparking.com as there were decent reviews on that site .
I phoned as instructed when 30 minutes from Manchester Airport,no answer. I rang 7 more times and left messages. No answer, no calls returned. On arrival at the industrial park, the address I was given for unit 2A did not exist. No office ,no staff, no signage,nothing . I asked the owner of unit 1 for help, he just rolled his eyes and told me this happens all the time,the company are completely fraudulent.
I have complained and asked for a refund from compareairportparking.com and I am awaiting their response.

If you value your sanity, your wallet, or your sense of smell, steer clear of this company like it’s radioactive.

From the second we arrived, it was a horror show. The “office” looks like it hasn’t seen a mop since the 90s — grime everywhere, air thick with the stench of sweat from a group of men who appeared allergic to soap. You could taste the smell.

We paid in advance, but that wasn’t enough. They still demanded more money for “short stay parking” because apparently driving us in their own van counts as our expense. Then came the upcharge for an “extra passenger” — my own daughter, who wasn’t even with us at the time.

The van? An ancient, filthy silver rust bucket with seats so grimy they could probably be declared a biohazard. It rattled like a coffin on wheels, and I’m not entirely sure it was road legal. The driver — surly, rude, and smelling like he’d been marinated in sweat — forced us to roll the windows down just to breathe.

When we reached Terminal 1, he dumped us before the short stay, told us to walk, and drove off. This is what I apparently “paid for.”

On our return, the driver got irritated on the phone because he had to actually pick us up at short stay. Our baggage was delayed, so my husband went with him to get the car — only for us to be charged AGAIN for my daughter’s return, even though she wasn’t with him.

And then — the pièce de résistance — our car came back with fresh scratches. Their response? “We’re sure it was like that when you arrived.” Sure. Right.

Even their own staff member admitted he’d only been there two weeks and already knew the place was a disaster.

💀 FINAL VERDICT: This isn’t just bad service. It’s a scam wrapped in filth, served with a side of insult. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Echoing the other reviews on here please in no way potentially ruin your holiday or your car by using this shameful excuse of a parking service.
Having been stuck in traffic due to an accident on the way to Manchester we were running a bit late and needed to just drop our car quickly and get to the airport. We rang them 30 mins before arrival as requested and there was no answer. We arrived at the given postcode and there was no visible sign for a car park, so we had to drive around an industrial estate getting stressed about the time until we eventually found a sort of third world yard and portacabin with no staff and a family who said they had been waiting an hour to get their car back. We eventually got through to someone who said they would be there in 5 minutes. Multiple 5 minutes went by. We rang this guy about 4 or 5 times and every time he said he would be 5 mins. We probably waited the best part of half an hour before he and a colleague turned up. We explained that we were in danger of missing our flight if we didn't leave soon, upon which the two staff members started arguing amongst themselves about who would drive us there. Eventually one agreed but there was more time to waste in their hellish office (rubbish everywhere) as he nonchalantly took our details and messed about with a bank transfer for ages. We then left for the airport in a ramshackle people carrier thing with no working seat belts in the rear and a bottle of curdling milk behind the driving seat. I THEN HAD TO GIVE HIM DIRECTIONS TO THE AIRPORT. HE DIDNT KNOW HOW TO GET TO THE AIRPORT ..... ITS AN AIRPORT PARKING SERVICE!!! we made our flight but it was extremely stressful. On our way back we had to wait over an hour to be picked up and we were worried what state our car might be in. Luckily it seemed ok but it was just parked on the street in a busy industrial estate ... Not secure by any means. Never use this "company" they are terrible.

Absolutely awful company...AVOID at all costs. I will also be reporting them to trading standards. Every single review on here is correct and this company is the pits!!! I was actually relived to get my car back in one piece, however 30 miles of petrol was gone.

Turned up to a dirty old shack on day of holiday and I was running late so already a bit stressed. Told me I had to get an uber as minibus had broke down, handed my keys over reluctantly and ordered uber at a cost of £12. Tried to forget about it as was going away.

Last few days of holiday I started to get a bit stressed out thinking about my car as if was such an unprofessional set up. Landed in Manchester at 2am rang the number told me the driver won't be back for 40 mins..I was angry but kept my cool as they had my car. I waited 40 mins rang the number and straight to answer phone at which point I started to panic and I am also going to add that I am a lone female traveller. I waited and waited in hindsight I should have just got another uber, I was about to call the police when a clapped out van turned up. Got in and on leaving car park rude driver said my card isn't working you will have to pay. I was so desperate to get back to my car I got my card out he snatched it and asked me for my pin... not a chance got out grabbed my card and tapped it at a cost of £6.40.

Turned up to old shack and luckily I saw my car I literally grabbed my keys and drove the 45 mins home.

2am I landed and I didn't get to my car until 4.30am arriving home at 5.15am. NEVER NEVER AGAIN....PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!!!

Absolutely disgusting service waiting 40 min to take us to airport ,took our car off to somwhere very dodgy ,called when back to be told no bus to pick us up told to book taxi and get receipts still waiting for money ,don't use this scam company.

One star it's to much.
The so-called "car park" isn't a proper parking facility, it's just a way for these people to make money. The only thing they actually secure is your car key, meanwhile, your vehicle is parked illegally on the street. I spoke with two nearby workers who confirmed this. I even recorded a video showing multiple cars parked on the pavement. There’s no drop-off or pick-up services ( paid extra £40 for taxi) despite what the advertisement claims. Overall, it’s a shady setup with questionable people. Avoid it at all costs.

Terrible, terrible experience. Called 30 mins before our arrival and was given little guidance as to what to do next. We arrived in the general area of the carpark and there was no signage for 'Parking World' anywhere.

Eventually found something resembling a business premises but it wasn't a car park but a used car sales area, cars jam packed in. Went inside and the office was like a third world premises. Dirty, smelly and unwelcoming. Staff were unhelpful and told us it would be 45 minutes before they could shuttle us to the airport! We said this was unacceptable and he told us the only alternative was to pay for an UBER. We felt we had not choice but to incur this cost and I felt nervous and uneasy about leaving my car with the unhelpful and menacing staff. (Would have been too late to organise alternative parking)

Upon return we called as soon as we arrived and no one picked up our calls for 10 minutes. Eventually an unhelpful and hard to understand voice answered and told us their shuttle vehicle was out of service and that we would once again have to order and pay for a taxi to get us back to Parking World.

We did so and I was just relieved that the car was there when we got to the premises. The car was packed in so tightly amongst other cras that were up for sale that it took me about 10 minutes to navigate my way out.

I cannot encourage you enough to avoid using this company. It had a negative effect on my holiday as I kept thinking about my car and what I would have to face when we got back to Manchester.

Absolute scam of a website. We booked "Premium Parking Park and Ride Manchester" and nothing about this was premium. We were instructed to call 30 minutes before arrival, which we did, and our call lasted all of 2 seconds as he said yes then put the phone down with no more information. The guy on the phone could not seem more bothered about our arrival. Once we got to the address of the carpark, it was nowhere to be seen. Instead, we had arrived at the back of an industrial estate, surrounded by 2nd hand car dealerships and auto breakers, not a very comforting site. We looked around for signs and saw none. The address we had actually been given, was to CS Cars UK, a used car dealer. Upon looking at this place, there was no carparking at all, it was literally a place where cars were being sold off to potential buyers. Im not being funny but does compareparkingprices actually vet the people selling services on their website? The actual address for this carpark is "Parking World Unit 2A, Shentonfield House, Shentonfield Rd, Sharston, Wythenshawe, Manchester M22 4RW" Just go have a look at their reviews on google and you'll see why they've hidden behind the 5 star reviews for CS Cars as parking worlds reviews are 1 star with people wishing they could do 0!!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS THIS WEBSITE CLEARLY DOESNT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. I'm so happy now that I decided on the day to leave and book airport parking instead as multiple people have found with parking world they damage cars and leave OPEN petrol cans in vehicles with 0 security and carkeys on full show for anyone to grab! Not everyone will be fortunate enought to be able to spend another £90 on top of the previous price I had paid for parking on the compareparkingprices website so please dont make the same mistake I did and just book airport parking instead it will seriously save you time, stress and money!!

We turned up and the place is just a used car place. It does not take cars for airport parking and pretty rude when you question them about it.

Absolute scammers, 20 minutes from the airport called them like we were supposed to for them to tell me that they wouldn’t be parking my car and the office was closed. Absolute cowboys. Avoid like the plague.

Only gave 1 start because I can’t give none. Called them at 02:00 (they are advertised as 24/7 secure parking operation) to be greeted by an answerphone. Kept calling, they eventually answered to tell me you need to get yourself here because the bus is broken. Paid £20 for a taxi but no-one in the office when we got there and the office door was locked. Called again and saw the mobile phone on the office desk ringing. Another couple turned up to park and told us they had called them 30 prior to arrival as per instructions, to be told “we are closed, park somewhere else”!!!!
We called the non emergency police number as we we at a loss for what to do. I walked down the road to see if I could find the “compound” our car was in, only to find it parked on the side of the road. Securely parked??? Nah! Someone eventually turned up and found a key to the office but was only there to help and had no clue how things worked so we had to find our own car keys. (If you wanted to take your car keys with you you had to pay any extra £20!) To give them benefit of the doubt we thought maybe our car was on the side of the road in readiness for us returning but……brakes were bound on so it had clearly sat there for the entire 8 days. Avoid this company like the plague. Yes they are cheaper but…..pay peanuts and you get monkeys!

Avoid this company! No minibus available to transfer us to the airport, no secure parking, told we would need to get an uber as the minibus had a faulty brake light and was pulled over by the Police. We distrusted them so much that we opted for short-term airport parking instead. An expensive mistake.

After doing research in various compare websites we came across Parking World ltd. The website looked profession so booked this for 2 families (4 adults and 4 children).

We arrived at the advertised location, expecting a professional facility, but were instead met with a small, overcrowded car park situated within an industrial estate. Many of the vehicles on site appeared to be for sale, further limiting space.
Upon arrival, another customer was very angry, having returned from his holiday to discover the company had misplaced his car keys the previous evening.
Pressed for time ahead of our flight, we were left with no alternative but to proceed with this service. We were instructed to leave our car keys so the vehicle could be relocated to a “secure” facility.
The keys, along with a piece of paper noting our return flight and registration, were placed in a sandwich bag. We were then told to transfer £12 via bank transfer to cover shuttle transport to and from the airport after already paying our initial car parking cost.
Although the shuttle was waiting outside, the vehicle was poorly maintained — several seatbelts were non-functional and rubber window seals were hanging loose.
Upon our return, we phoned ahead to confirm pickup, and fortunately the shuttle arrived within five minutes. My car was present, however, my sister’s vehicle and keys were missing. The attendant said it was his first day and appeared very overwhelmed. We assisted him as he searched through 8 unlocked drawers full of sandwich bags containing customer keys and registration details (there were easily 200 to go through)
Meanwhile, several passengers were calling in frustration — some had not been collected from the airport and had to make their own arrangements.

Eventually, we located my sister’s keys tucked inside a yellow shopping bag in the back room next to a shisha pipe. The vehicle itself was nowhere to be found. From 2am to 4am, we combed the industrial estate with the staff member — cars were scattered on kerbs, roadsides, and random lots — to no avail.
Exhausted with young children we booked a hotel nearby and returned in the morning.

Upon our second visit, another couple arrived, unable to find parking or receive shuttle service, and ultimately missed their flight.
Roughly half an hour later, the business owner arrived. Despite our request to follow him to the car’s location, he insisted we return the key and wait. It became evident the vehicle had not been kept in a secure facility, contrary to earlier assurances. Thank you to the workers in nearby establishments who allowed me to park my car while we waited and stood with us.

Fortunately, we recovered the car and commenced our journey back to Scotland — albeit hours late and thoroughly disappointed. This experience was unprofessional, unreliable, and unnecessarily stressful. STRONGLY advise others to avoid this company to ensure a smooth beginning and end to their well earned holiday.

I’m not one for leaving reviews but this place was so bad I felt obliged too and hopefully save some other poor soul from heartache and loosing money.

I booked this car parking through Compare Parking Prices (negative review posted about them also) to park my car for 2 weeks whilst on a family holiday between 21 June and 5 July 2025.

The post code took us to an industrial estate which had numerous units and cars parked everywhere, on the roads, pavements and grass areas with no coordination and appeared abandoned. The car parking site was not advertised and we came across it by complete chance where I spoke to a male in a clapped out mini bus who told me I was in the right place and to come in and complete paperwork.

I didn’t know it at the time, but luckily we had loads of time to kill so said we would come back after getting some food. I returned an hour later and there was no person going about. I entered the compound, which had enough parking for about 20 cars and all these spaces were taken up by extensively damage cars or old banger cars for sale. I went to the rear of the compound expecting to see a huge car park but nothing apart from written off cars piled high. There was no CCTV cameras and the gate into the compound was far from secure. I have seen war zones on the TV recently which looked better!!

I entered the building, which was a run down portacabin, which was unlocked and unmanned to find self seal bags with car keys and people’s personal details on a desk. They were not locked away and could have been stolen by anyone.

Numerous attempts were made to make contact via the number provided but got no reply.

Whilst there another young couple attended and they also were shocked by the set up and could not get hold of the owner.

I made the decision to booked alternate parking as there is no way I could have enjoyed my holiday knowing my car was left there fearing what may have happened to it. It cost me an extra £160 but it was money well spent.

People from other nearby units approach me and advised not to keep our car there due to loads of complaints and the police having been at the premises numerous times.

Whilst at the airport I got hold of the company on the phone and explained to them I was there for over an hour waiting but he didn’t arrive so I had to booked other parking and I wanted a refund. He advised to email and a refund would be sorted. Numerous emails later and not even a response so no chance of a refund then.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use this company. I only wish now I had read the reviews prior to booking but I went on the assumption it was a company through a comparison website so it should be a reputable company. How wrong could I be.

All the reviews are 1 star with negative experience with other people being worse off than me so please listen and take the advice wisely and booked somewhere else.

DO NOT USE THIS COWBOY COMPANY. awful experience we paid for transfers to and from airport which were non available due to various excuses told to get taxis both ways which we were told would be reimbursed we are still waiting. The facility itself was
disgusting there was a open manhole with no safety
warnings, it was more like a secondhand car dump.
The staff were very unhelpful and spoke little English.
