Worse than useless!
Sent an item internationally and paid extra for their tracked service so I could keep an eye on the item.
It's been saying it's leaving the Country but has been at Heathrow for two weeks.
Trying to contact them is an absolute joke. The website is designed to confuse people and the call platform, when you ring it, is terrible.
I'd use another carrier if I were you. I will next time

Royal mail is a national embarrassment. Divers just lie about attempting deliveries. No customer service. No integrity. No pride.
Royal Mail isn't what it was
Royal Mail isn't what it was, a thing in name only now. The service and reliability are literally dire, whilst, of course, the costs have increased to an offensive and ridiculous degree. It's an insult and it is unusable. Stuff arrives, when it arrives at all, on days it was never due to arrive. You can wait in all day, as we did today, for the planned re-delivery, as it said on the card, and nothing arrives, the so-called tracking information saying nothing. I can't count the amount of things that have got lost via it over the years; so much so that it amounts to theft, as those packages have to be somewhere. Contacting Royal Mail itself is broken and impossible, intentionally frustrating. That, too, is corrupt. It's beyond repair. Disband the carcass. Put it out of our misery.

I am absolutely furious with the service from the Darwen Delivery Office. I stayed at home all day waiting for a critical, urgent delivery
17:18, the tracking status was updated to "Address Inaccessible." This is a complete and utter lie. I was inside, my property was perfectly accessible, and the road was entirely clear. No driver ever came to my street, and no delivery attempt was actually made.
It is completely unacceptable that postal workers or local managers are allowed to use "Address Inaccessible" as a convenient loophole to cover up the fact that they ran out of time or are understaffed. Falsifying tracking records to protect internal target stats is bad enough, but doing it with vital medical packages is downright dangerous.
Now I am left dealing with the stress of not having my medicine and being forced to do the extra legwork to travel down to the sorting office to retrieve it myself. Absolutely shameful lack of accountability. Fix your staffing issues instead of lying about your customers' addresses.

I just waited in for a parcel to get a message that Royal Mail tried to deliver they are TOTAL LIARS. No one even rang the bell. They have ruined my day as I waited in specially for it instead of important and pressing things. I cannot wait in again on the off chance they might actually bother to deliver it. The delivery office is miles away and difficult to get to taking over an hour each way and has pathetic opening hours. Great work Royal Mail &thanks for wasting my time for NOTHING

I really can’t understand how a package…
I really can’t understand how a package do get delivered to the correct address and even though I have gone down to the sorting office and explained what has happened and also spent over 2 hours on the phone finally getting through to a human who I told him my problem only to still have No Response as too where my package is. The proof of posting shows a white door, my door is a black door with glass inlays totally different. I now have to go to my BANK who will at least get my money back. Very disappointed.

Royal Mail guy stole my parcel
Royal Mail Collection, picked up a return parcel, I did not need to print a label. Guy turned up today at 11.50 took the parcel. At 8pm I received an email confirming they are unable to fulfil the collection request and that I can rebook or request a refund.
So basically the Royal Mail has stolen the Fan from John Lewis.
Now on the phone to John Lewis been on hold for 25 minutes I have better things to do, but I need my refund of £120 for the fan. Royal Mail your staff are stealing items.
I have Ring doorbell footage as evidence.

Special Delivery hasn’t been delivered following a second phantom delivery attempt - no sign of the postman/courier, no ring footage, and no card left to suggest delivery or any options provided for collection or re-delivery. This comes on top of recent loss of parcels/post and receiving delivery for neighbours mail. Any attempts to follow-up are met with a Byzantine layer of options that lead to nowhere on a hopeless Minoan app and website!
As a former shareholder, I can no longer trust Royal Mail and will now always opt for DHL or UPS to deliver critical, valuable mail (personal or business), let alone invest my shares in a hopelessly failing, disorganised business that should in no way have the honour of carrying the ‘Royal’ prefix!
Disgusting service!!
I paid extra for 24-hour delivery on Monday. The item hasn't moved since 2 am, Tuesday morning, since it reached the hub. Unable to speak to anyone about this, the item was needed urgently, hence the request for 24-hour delivery. I wouldn't give any stars if it were possible. Reason on the tracking is extreme weather - so Royal Mail cannot operate at 24 degrees with air conditioned vans - They are a joke!!!!
Beyond awful
The second time over the last two months that Royal Mail claim to have attempted delivery but unable to gain access. This is a complete lie. On both occasions someone was at the address and watching out of the window.
The parcels contained crucial medication for the recipient, without which there are serious consequences.
The awful service is bad enough but the fact that they lie to their customers is disgusting. It’s nigh on impossible to do anything about it… incorrect contact numbers listed, frustrating and disfunctional helpline and customer services.. a prime example of how the UK has been allowed to go down the toilet due to greed and laziness

Absolutely terrible company
Absolutely terrible company. Incompetent and rude staff. They have lost several of my parcels over the years, usually the ones with the highest value. Customer service is unhelpful and unwilling to take responsibility. Overall, a shocking company to deal with, and I would not recommend them.
