Laziness - No accountability!

I booked a collection as I needed to return a heavy parcel. The morning of the collection I received an email stating "Update", they couldn't collect as no one in! I have to go through the booking system again, scheduled for the following morning, all confirmed via email. Again this morning another "Update", the possible issue was entry door not working or traffic or another factor! Total lies. I am a retired pensioner, not working. I've contacted the company who are to be the recipients of the package as they had pre-paid for the return, in the hope they chase it up!

Delivery service is all over the…

Delivery service is all over the place,we usually get mail daily but now we might get it once a week at best and when it arrives we usually get at least 8 to 10 letters all at once and then some arrive on Sunday what a way to run a business,suppose you a waiting for a important letter that needs a quick reply you have no chance if you complain as I have you just get a standard brush off as they don’t care,I am disgusted with the service and the price of stamps doesn’t guarantee next day delivery no wonder they can’t keep staff.

No parcel, no resolution, one way contact, terrible automatic help line system

​My experience with Parcelforce has been appalling. It is currently impossible to get any clarity on the status of my parcel.
​When you finally manage to reach the first line of support—often after waiting nearly an hour on hold—you are met with a brick wall. There is no transparency, no ability to speak with a second-line agent, and no escalation path to a manager. Even worse, there is absolutely no mechanism to speak with the warehouse/depot (in my case, East PFW CSP) to understand what is happening on the ground.
​The only "information" provided is a generic, empty response citing "business operational issues." This is unacceptable. As a customer, I am not interested in vague, internal excuses; I am interested in why my delivery is failing and when it will arrive.
​Their internal support structure seems specifically designed to shield the company from accountability, preventing customers from ever reaching anyone with the authority to actually resolve a problem. The online tracking tool is equally useless, offering zero visibility into the actual movement of the item.
​If Parcelforce wants to understand how a modern logistics business should operate, they should look at DPD. This level of service is unprofessional and fails to meet even the most basic standards of the industry. Do not expect to have your issues resolved here.

What ever happened to the reliability…

What ever happened to the reliability of the Royal mail?? Twice now in the last few weeks I've been waiting on parcels from Royal mail,
The first I payed for next day delivery.it took 4 days,the next I ordered a couple of things, it was split into 2 parcels.Royal mail took 1 evri t other. I ordered them on monday.i received the evri parcel today but I'm not expecting the second part delivered by Royal mail till tomorrow (at t earliest). Why??? Not good enough, Not good enough at all...

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service, paid £10 for a special delivery via post office counter but Royal Mail cannot deliver this way to PO Boxes and wrongfully sold me the most expensive delivery option. They returned the letter 26 days later, not so special after all. Will not be using their paid for services again. Also been waiting for a certificate for over 4 weeks obviously won’t arrive and will have to pay for a duplicate, concerned doctor and hospital letters won’t arrive so will lead to costly missed appointments for the NHS and possible unnecessary impacts to people’s health. Royal Mail this needs sorting (pun intended!)
The only thing you seem to get right is returns! Hoping Amazon step in and takeover, sure they would do a much better job of delivering post in the UK!

Dreadful

Dreadful! Another parcel stuck in a hub, so much for 24/48 hour tracking. Amazon doesn't give a hoot either just tell you to ask for a refund after x amount of days. I don't shop for fun, i buy what i need and can't get in my rural location

Poor Royal Mail Service

I am writing to raise a concern regarding a delayed parcel associated with tracking number FY199569464GB.

I received a notification on 24 June 2026 stating that my parcel would be delivered on 25 June 2026. However, as of today (30 June 2026), the item has not been delivered, and there have been no updates to the tracking information since 25 June.

The tracking history shows:
25 June: Item received at Greenford MC (00:46)
24 June: Item received at Midlands Super Hub (19:56)
23 June: Sender despatched item

Given that the parcel has been at a local mail centre for several days, I am concerned about the delay, particularly as the delivery distance is relatively short.

I would appreciate clarification on the following:

The current status and exact location of my parcel

The reason for the delay since 25 June

When I can realistically expect delivery
Additionally, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the lack of tracking updates, as this undermines the purpose of using a tracked service.

Please investigate this matter as soon as possible and provide an update.

This has to be the worst delivery…

This has to be the worst delivery company ever, waited in all day for a very important parcel only to get an email saying delivered over your fence, how did we do? Not my address, not even anywhere in my street?? Took me an hour to get through to them on the phone only to be told give them 72 hours to look into the matter and now being charged for a contract for an item I never received but as it's shown as delivered my contract starts. Asked royal mail what happens if after 72 hours nothing is resolved what happens they said we will pass you through to another department to get a claims number to request compensation but this could take 60 days. I now point blank refuse to order anything that will be delivered by royal mail they are an absolute disgrace and poor excuse of a company.

Since my last review of Royal Mail haven’t improved

Since my last review of Royal Mail, it’s safe to say they’ve not improved. I’ve received a delivery today from the Pendle Delivery Office in Nelson, Lancashire and it was just another case of an inexperienced delivery driver. He felt it was of more importance facing customers with tattoos plastered all over the arms whilst looking as if he rolled up for work sleeping on the streets the previous night and having not heard of a razor. He looked overweight. To top things off, he wanted to breach Royal Mail policy and ask for identification for unknown reasons? Perhaps he’s a paedophile or a fraudster? Another complaint has gone in to go with high number of complaints already on record relating to the delivery office.

A little of me dies whenever I order…

A little of me dies whenever I order something and discover that Parcelforce are delivering it. Today I received a notification that my parcel couldn’t be delivered because there was no one in. But I was at home, as was my wife and daughter. No customer services to contact. Awful!

No longer a viable carrier

Repeatedly failed to collect a parcel. They simply don’t turn up. The cost of using Royal Mail has soared, while the quality of the service has collapsed. Privatising Royal Mail was the worst thing to ever happen to it. It isn’t fit for purpose now.

What did go right, diddly squat

What did go right. Firstly the reception by the lady at the collection office was at best unhelpful, patronising and condescending. Convinced my parcel was delivered on 17/06/26 to an address I'd specified apparently, though this wasn't verified , actually arrived at my work address today 29/06/26 with damaged packaging and multiple labels. Please ask them to explain that if they can. I wholeheartedly recommend shopping local, not only to support businesses but reliability.

Not impressed with Royal Mail

Royal mail say they tried to deliver parcel containing a tee shirt but no access to property, absolute rubbish. The driveway is clear as is path to my doorway. Don't believe they even bothered.
Next day they sent email saying a book that I ordered had been delivered but in fact it is the tee shirt they say they couldn't deliver due to access problems. I have no idea where my book is!
Royal Mail parcel delivery is useless.

royalmail delivery passed delivery time again delivery time between 0800 and 1210 the management team have no clue, you pay for delivery to get delivered it suppossed to be here now poor control over the staff.
