P4 Solar Anmeldelser

We had 20 panels and 2 batteries installed in December 2024 by P4 Solar.
The installers were very polite and took pride in their work. There was a battery issue when they tried testing the system for the first time but the issue was resolved very quickly with the batteries being swapped out the following day.
The customer service has been very good, and when we have had any doubts on how to use the app they have replied very quickly with help and guidance.
Our reason for the delay on reviewing P4 Solar is because we wanted to see how the system performed over time. We are very pleased with the system, since the installation back in December our monthly electric bill has been vastly reduced(our daily cost is mostly the standing charge). Also, we have already sent over 5000 KWh back to the grid meaning we are already due nearly £1000 back from our supplier.
We would definitely recommend P4 Solar, in fact we did recommend them to my son who has now had his outdated system replaced by P4 Solar and he managed to keep his ridiculously high payback tariff for selling back to the grid.

P4 installed my solar panels and batteries in December 2022 and the system has worked brilliantly since then. I recently changed wifi provider and P4 helped get the system set up with the new router including a visit to upgrade the dongle and firmware for the battery system. Aftersales support is one of those things that you don’t always think about when you buy a solar system but P4 have been excellent in this and are always happy to provide support, which is invaluable when you need it.

This company was brilliant, professional and honest throughout. Very competitive quote and a first class job. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they kept me fully informed throughout the process. Installation was done in just one day and a minor crack in one of my roof tiles was sorted immediately without any fuss. I am a complete idiot with things technical so telephone support at all times of the day and evening has been invaluable, not that it was too hard to follow. If I can follow it then anyone can. Great company, highly recommend

P4 have just installed my solar panels and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, they were extremely easy to deal with. The quote was competitively priced, and the communication throughout the process was excellent.

The installation itself was done to a high standard, and everyone I interacted with was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it shows in the quality of the install.

If you're considering a solar installation, I highly recommend P4. They made the whole process smooth and stress-free.

Peter and team have been super helpful and committed to having a happy customer from start to finish. From taking the time to explain the rationale for their system design, to being patient as we slogged through the planning process, to ensuring the system got installed to our satisfaction, they're been a great company to work with. It's fair to say our install didn't go smoothly - one issue can be chalked down to experience all round, the other could have been avoided - but the important point is the bumps in the road were dealt with extremely professionally and we figured it out together. Peter and team do things properly - they know their stuff, they take care and pride in the work and they trade on their reputation - particularly refreshing in a industry which has more than it's fair share of, shall we say, less reputable installers. Highly recommended.

Was about to give up on my dream of solar with the amount of cowboys and conmen that were giving me quotes. P4 was my last attempt at finding someone I was willing to trust with my house and also my money.

They did not disappoint, answered most of my questions on the first phone call that I’d been waiting for other to answer for weeks and that was before an appointment.

Very professional throughout happy to tailor to my needs and felt I was a valued customer.

Would be my first call for any further solar without hesitation

Every aspect of my experience was outstanding.

Great experience with P4. Solar install was on time, commissioned in a day and everybody involved was great to deal with. System was explained to me and handover was simple.

I had a range of quotes and visits from installers and went for P4 who were local to me and seemed to be the ones most keen to get a solar solution to fit my needs. They gave an excellent initial quote and then I realised I could afford more panels as a result and maxed out on what I could afford, going for a south and north array. An excellent visit from Peter initially and then Fred gave great support at each stage. The installation was set up very quickly and very efficiently. Scaffolders, electricians and the roofers were all very professional and courteous and all willing to explain the install. It was a very exciting day watching them go up. It was brilliant watching it start to work immediately generating electricity from the sun! It's a daunting thing to find a company you can trust with a big wedge of your hard earned savings but P4 were worthy of that trust. At the end of it all, I really wondered what I was fretting about. Chuffed to bits with it all and looking forward to reaping the benefits of my investment.

Very professional and install went smoothly overall. There was a problem with a part but they got it resolved with the supplier quickly and fixed up. Would recommend!

Initially had a quote from Octopus but was recommended to get a quote from P4 Solar and I am so glad we did! Double the panels (20 vs 10) and the same battery storage (10 kW) for £2000 less than Octopus quoted. Dealing with P4 Solar has been stress free and they even accommodated a delay (caused by Octopus fitting a heat pump later than planned) that meant it took 2 days instead of one. Oli, Jamie, Ben and James were all great and very happy with the end result. Cannot recommend P4 Solar highly enough.

Once again, the after sales service from P4 Solar was absolutely first class. Panels and batteries have been fitted for over 2 years now, I recently changed my broadband provider and had a configuration issue (memory laps), 10 minute call with Justin and all was sorted. 👍

Excellent process from start to finish. Clearly explained all the issues, turned up on time and did the work in the time promised. Very respectful team, helpful, considerate and professional. Highly recommend

Coming from a total novice on the solar front, and with an old house I’d assumed it wasn’t for me. One quick discussion with Olly at P4 changed all that. Customer care all the way. Held my hand (figuratively speaking) throughout and when it came to installation, it was all quick, seamless and between James, Ben and Jamie the finished product looked superb - I can thoroughly recommend the team at P4! Impressive kit already paying for itself too.

We had a great experience using P4. They are great to deal with, everything from the original site visits to installation and set up of the PV system was perfect. We also thought they offered the best value system overall because of the efficiency of the solar panels they use. Highly recommended

When considering solar panels, my initial enquiries with various companies for quotes and design ideas led me to P4 Solar. A significant factor that drew me to P4 was their non-intrusive sales approach; unlike many competitors who employ persistent follow-ups, I found P4's method refreshing. After speaking with Peter, I appreciated how he presented the facts clearly and left the decision-making process in my hands. This respectful engagement fostered trust and confidence in the company.
Moreover, my attraction to P4 was not solely based on pricing but rather on the professionalism exhibited throughout our interactions. The fact that P4 holds all necessary accreditations reassured me of their legitimacy and confidence as a reputable business . Their commitment to clear communication and willingness to address my enquiries further enhanced my experience. The installation process was prompt and executed with precision; even minor repairs, such as replacing a cracked roof tile, was handled transparently.
My experience with P4 Solar was overwhelmingly positive. Their integrity and dedication to customer satisfaction stood out in stark contrast to the aggressive tactics often associated with other solar companies. Consequently, I have no hesitations recommending P4 Solar to friends and family seeking reliable solar solutions.

Fantastic from start to finish. Very professional.

Couldn’t be happier with P4 solar. They are an absolute delight to deal with. Superb communication from start to finish and everything is handled extremely professionally and Peter and Fred are extremely helpful and approachable. The installation was seamless. Special mention to James (electrician) and Jackson and Declan (roofers) - three really nice guys; polite and professional and very tidy! We have a few commercial buildings and will not hesitate to ask P4 to do the solar install on these properties and happily recommend them to friends and family.

P4 have Superb customer service - the team are very quick to communicate and you don’t feel like you have transacted with a company, but entered into a partnership arrangement.

The quality of product is exceptional and you know that the people at the end of the phone or in front of you are not just selling you a product and service, but truly believe in what they are doing.

Great communication throughout, a great product and great installation - I couldn’t fault a thing! 10 out of 10.

please use P4 and avoid going to through the big companies, their much much more expensive and impersonal.

We had a very positive outcome with our solar and battery installation. Fred was very responsive from our first contact onwards and guided us to the right solution.

The installation team was very professional and also quick. The whole job was completed in less than two days. Since then our system has worked without any issues and has exceeded our expectations with respect to power generation.

I think our experience illustrated the benefit of working with a local provider focused on customer care.
