Has never been the same since Andy left, Ruaridh and Jen have zero personality and therefore motivation to be focused on the no booze path is so much more difficult. Loads of other groups out there who are so much more exciting and motivating, stay away from them a waste of money

Great company trying to help people reset their relationship with alcohol. They’ve had great success supporting people on their alcohol free journeys. Very uplifting and positive people.

I can not speak highly enough of OYNB. I have participated in a number of their programs including 365 challenge that I successfully completed on 4/4/2023. I have not looked back and continue to be alcohol free (with community check-ins ongoing). The OYNB team’s ability to adapt and pivot has been inspirational. The lessons taught can be applied in all parts of your life. You will never please everyone, how ever I am truely thankful for the amazing work they do within the community. Thanks OYNB team, keep killing it.

I joined OYNB in 2020, literally at the depths of frustration of how to change my destructive relationship with alcohol. Seeing so many other people who wanted to address their relationship with alcohol when I thought it was just me in the whole wide world that had this problem was a revelation! Ruari and team provided this support, it's sad that this is now ending but where there's change, there's growth. Thank you OYNB, I dread to think what my life and my children's life would be without you.

I joined OYNB back in 2018. After a gory divorce, living on red wine and chocolate for several years - and becoming a complete workaholic, I knew that I had to change. I was drinking every night, usually alone. I was hopelessly unfit, neglecting family and friends.
I had countless attempts at quitting alcohol - but got into the cycle of waking up with good intentions, getting through the day, then starting drinking in the evening.
I could not change alone.
Over the years OYNB has supported me, one day at a time, in changing every aspect of my life. I have not drunk alcohol since the day I joined.
Pivotal for me was the support from Ruari and Andy - the inspirational videos , challenges and the personalised feedback which helped me to keep going.
It was not easy!
Milestones were celebrated - and I developed connections with other challengers across the world. The meet ups were great - and I have made lasting friends.
I have become so much more knowledgeable about the impact of alcohol - and the positive psychological strategies needed for my personal growth.
I am healthier, more confident and a more authentic person. I do not need to use alcohol to boost my confidence in social situations : something I had done since the age of 13.
Thanks Ruari, Andy and Jen! I could not have done it without the amazing community you have created.

Life-changing. OYNB has been an inspiration in my journey. They helped me get started with an alcohol free life. The fb group I've gotten to stay on for free since I joined for just $30 back in 2020 is now closing but I appreciate them allowing folks like me to stay on it past the first 90 day challenge. I highly recommend this program to anyone wanting to change their relationship with alcohol.

I am amending this review slightly based on feedback from OYNB requesting their members to reconsider some of the negative reviews. I have upgraded my rating from 1 to 3 stars, however the substance of my feedback remains the same and is genuinely based on my experience.

I joined in November last year when I realised my alcohol consumption was getting too much.

When I initially signed up I was overwhelmed by the barrage of marketing and sales information sent, emails, calls, messages, all trying to upsell more and more of their products and services. This made me very suspicious as it felt like they were deliberately praying on vulnerable people, I didn’t sign up for anything but I could easily see how someone struggling with alcohol could so easily get caught buying unnecessary extras due to their aggressive hard sell approach. Not a good start.

I started the 30 day detox and found the video content extremely poor. There is no substance to any of it and it’s nothing more than you can find for free on YouTube or social media. I was extremely disappointed with this given how slick their social media content is.

The positive saving grace was the wonderfully supportive slack group which gave me so much inspiration, support and encouragement, and helped me completely reevaluate my relationship with alcohol. The group literally helped change my life in the last six months which I’m very grateful for. Then recently OYNB have decided to close these groups and force people to sign up to an expensive membership model to continue access on a new platform.

My original detox program was fairly cheap but the new pricing model is insanely expensive.

Overall I got what I wanted out of OYNB, I’ve massively reduced my alcohol consumption and feel better mentally and physically. For what I paid I can’t complain at all. It worked and that’s great but don’t believe the rest of the hype.

It also disappoints and concerns me that OYNB think the best way to response to customer feedback is to report every bad review to TrustPilot as containing harmful or illegal material, which seems pretty typical of how they work.

I’m aware there have been a lot of changes at OYNB and I hope they will take all this feedback constructively and adapt their business model accordingly. It would be a shame to see the brand disappear when it’s still got the potential to help so many people so I wish them all the best with the new direction, but it isn’t for me.

Joined in 2018, without the support of the OYNB community and support packages my life would probably look very different now, Thank you OYNB 👌🏻

I have been alcohol free for over 4 years. In that time I have always been a member of One Year No Beer. The safe community gave me the ability to see I was not alone in my path. Showed me the tools to use to meet my goal and always offered support. Always. I am forever grateful for them and the community and friends I have been part of.
