Brilliant support, plus tried and tested techniques that actually work. OYNB are a fantastic team who really care about you - and it shows. I’ve been AF for several years thanks to them. It’s been life changing. I can’t recommend them more highly.

This company shaped my life more than any other company in the world. The programme is fantastic, well structured and delivered in a way that is relatable to most people. I understand they are going through a restructure but, based on the incredibly high quality of the programme and the service they provide, I’m sure (and hope) they will find a way to keep the company afloat. As someone who was looking to reduce my alcohol this group gave me insight and encouragement to change

I’ve been part of the OYNB community since 2017, joining as part of my professional growth journey. I completed OYNB in 2022, along with several 90-day challenges, and I’m now a proud graduate of Complete Control and a member of Limitless Control.

OYNB is truly a game changer. The founders lead with genuine care and a deep commitment to helping people thrive. Thanks to OYNB, I now have the best relationships of my life, my career is thriving, and my overall well-being has soared. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

While it’s sad to see the program winding down, I believe we should pause to recognize the incredible effort the founders and community have poured into OYNB. Personally, I’m deeply grateful for the self-sacrifice behind OYNB, Complete Control, and Limitless Control, and I feel truly indebted to this amazing group.

Best program out there! Revolutionized the space and changed so many lives including my own. I am forever grateful and inspired by the work they do.

I stumbled across OYNB years and years ago and I thank my lucky stars I did! My life has been saved and changed unimaginably. Unexpected changes of late have left a minority angry and led them to lash out by leave bad reviews. Please disregard the angry reviews and take note of the heartfelt thanks from the majority. Things change. People don’t like change. We struggle with it. The bottom line for me is that OYNB has changed my life for the over the last decade.

It became apparent to me a while back that my relationship with alcohol was getting a tricky and uncomfortable. Nothing catastrophic but I sensed something had to change or I was destined to approach old age with regret and sadness.
AA didn't resonate at all so I was kind of stuck.
That's when I found OneYearNoBeer and quite simply it changed my life.
It facilatated a different approach grounded in education, support and most importantly the space to reimagine what life might look like without booze.
As a direct result of being in OYNB I changed by career and got healthier and fitter than I've ever been.
Can't recommend it highly enough.

One Year No Beer was the first thing that sparked my interest in sobriety many years ago, maybe in 2019.

I realised that my relationship with alcohol was problematic and bringing so much negativity into my life. I had nowhere to turn to for help. My GP wasn't interested because I wasn't a full blown alcoholic.

I did the 30 day challenge and the help, support and resources were brilliant. That was the turning point for me to see how much better my life was sober. I even invested £500 of my own money a couple of years later, because I was so passionate about OYNB and their vision. I could see it changing the world.

Fast forward a few years and the business model isn't working, so they have to change and evolve, like any business. The scathing reviews these guys are receiving are frankly outrageous when all they are trying to do is help people.

Ruari and Jen, I want you to know that you have helped me and tens of thousands of others. I have an incredible 3 year old daughter and a solid marriage. I have left the corporate world and I am studying to work in the field of Mental Health because just like you, I want to help others.

None of this would have been possible if I didn't get sober. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU ❤️

There are so many free resources out there, podcasts, books, Instagram accounts, AA if you are addicted to alcohol. Please don't hate on these wonderful people just because they need to make money to feed their families.

I still believe in the OYNB vision and I would invest again in a heartbeat.

I did the OYNB challenge several years back after doing a Dry January and wanting to take that further. I upgraded my challenge from 30 to 90 days then up to the 365 days although it took me a while to complete that because of birthdays and Christmas and other events that come up in a 365 day cycle and navigating them can trip you up. Learning to deal with that is one of the main points of the challenge, and over the time I was doing it I became the fittest and healthiest version of myself - when you get to that stage you don’t want to let it go by dropping back into old bad habits.
I really appreciated the generosity of being able to restart as many times as needed until completion of the full 365 days, at no extra cost, along with the Facebook group (which was free at a time when many companies were monetising access to their FB communities) in the background which although I never posted myself I valued the community being there, and reading the inspiring stories and following journeys.
What I think OYNB isn’t, as it is clearly made out in their program details, is a treatment pathway for anyone with a serious problem with alcohol. Anyone reading the recent negative reviews about OYNB needs to take these with a large pinch of salt for the spiteful attacks they are on the archiving of a free resource that can no longer be supported by ONYB at no cost for very genuine reasons. That is sad, but it is what it is and I wish OYNB the very best as it transitions into its new phase of life.
Thank you OYNB for giving me the tools I needed to take or leave alcohol without FOMO.

I can only express gratitude to OYNB as it helped me a lot. I am sad that they have to close the FB platform which I logged into every day and found of great help. However, as I have also run a business for many years, I fully understand their decision to change direction in order to survive and wish them luck for the future.
I have already joined another group as I feel that reading other people’s experiences helps me to remain AF and healthy.
So, all I can say is thanks and my sincerest compliments for what you have achieved and the help you have provided to so many of us over the years.

I stayed close to this group when I decided to quit drinking and took the 90-day challenge. It's hard to quit when you are doing it on your own. I felt like I was being supported by a very genuine and empathetic group of people who were all on their own journey with alcohol. OYNB was a game-changer for me. I don't know if I'd be here if not for doing that first challenge.

I kept getting ads on FB and decided one day to do the 90 day challenge, which I extended to a year. 5 years later, my relationship with alcohol is basically non-existent. I knew I couldn’t level up in my life without dropping the booze and something about paying for a challenge and the support of the group helped me so much!! I love that the group is not focused on you having a “disease”. Wonderful moderators and a great experience!

Served a purpose for me so only fair I review it. When people want to quit drinking, religion, money or just health, OYNB provides a level of commitment. Lots of people moaning about the removal of a Facebook group, another page called Life Beyond Booze has people going over to that. People shouldn't be bitter, they should adapt.
