We can confirm though that your pricing estimates of SMS costs is not likely to be accurate. For example if your business sends 20 SMS reminders a day, the SMS cost would be £28 pm. All emails are free. You'll also receive a 30% discount for the first 6 months when you upgrade. Regarding the plan and subscription fee change, we completely understand that for some accounts the price change feels significant.
Ovatu Next is not an apples-for-apples replacement for the old Classic system you've enjoyed so far, it’s a new product with substantially improved usability, performance, and features. That said, we acknowledge that the change can take some getting used to.
To help with the transition, all Classic accounts moving to the Next system receive a 30% discount for 6 months when upgrading.
We’ve also worked hard to keep Next pricing simple and transparent:
• Just two costs: your subscription plan and SMS usage
• No hidden fees, no add-ons, no surprises
We’re also proud that we never increased pricing for existing Classic customers, even over many years. Had pricing increased gradually (as is common with other platforms), this change would have been far less noticeable. We believe holding prices steady for so long has been a better outcome overall.
