Option finance is the best mortage company I have dealt with. In particular a mortage advisor named Tom Woodall. He has been reliable and speedy in getting things done and I would recommend him 100%.

Was left feeling a little disappointed
Was left feeling a little disappointed. Spoke to Davi, told him of my circumstances, everything up to scratch on my credit report, really good earnings, deposit saved but one downfall was my 5 year old unsettled CCJ. Davi reassured me that there wouldn’t be a problem with this as it was a really old ccj and it made no difference that it was unsettled and he deals with these issues day in day out. Seemed great at the start as he messaged me the very same evening to tell me that he had a look to see what he could find and his final option was to speak with a building society the next day but if they couldn’t help the rate available would be roughly 5%. I took this as meaning that he had found me a mortgage but was going to try and get a better rate and failing that I’d have to have one at 5%. After a few messages from me chasing for an update he came back to me a week later to let me know that he couldn’t secure me the mortgage. I told him that he was certain he could get me one and he said that it’s the first time that this had ever happened and it’s due to covid but covid has been around for a year so I was a little confused. I am grateful to Davi for taking the time to look in to it for me but feel deflated as when I first called them I wasn’t really under any impression that I would get one but after my call I felt really reassured and excited as I was told “listen, don’t panic, your credit file and income is absolutely brilliant compared to most so there won’t be any problem” to have to wait a week whilst looking at properties and eventually to be told no was really disappointed.

This organisation is clearly very experienced in all matters to do with obtaining a mortgage. Having returned to the UK after many years abroad, we had no credit history. So our mortgage application process was definitely non-standard. However, Laura was able to evaluate the information and documents that would be needed, and was able to match us with a lender. Adam was diligent about requesting from us and checking all the paperwork to make sure we'd satisfy the lender's requirements. After the application was submitted Laura liaised with the lender to ensure our application progressed. And thanks to her efforts our application was accepted.
In these days of automation it's great to deal with real people. These guys are friendly and approachable, but make no mistake, they really know their stuff and are totally professional. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs assistance with a mortgage application.

I cannot recommend Option finance enough! Cassie was absolutely fantastic all the way through. After previously speaking to a different mortgage advisor we were told we wouldn’t be able to get a mortgage without 3 years accounts, however cassie was able to secure us a mortgage in principle with just 3 months CIS payslips within a day! And we have received our mortgage offer for our first home within 3days. Cassie was so quick to answer any queries we had and was very knowledgeable about every aspect of buying a house. We cannot thank Cassie enough for all her help, we really appreciate everything she has done. We would recommend Option finance to anyone, especially if you are self employed and struggling to get a mortgage.

Tom Woodall is the person who had literally managed the impossible for us this year! After the failed attempt with the high street lender we felt almost hopeless until we came across Tom & Megan.
