The Lady, I spoke to, was very helpful and friendly. She tried her best to help me to get what I asked for
I needed specific requirements and found the staff very helpful. They not only found a hotel offering these but also found a fantastic deal. The staff were friendly and polite and most efficient. Will use this firm again.
Friendly Approach and did everything needed to assist with booking
I gave my son a £200 voucher and explained to their customer services that due to my husband being seriously ill he hasn’t been able to use the voucher . He thought it was valid for two years but had unfortunately expired after 18 months. I asked if , as a good will gesture, they could honour part of the voucher . We understood the deadline had passed but thought given we were previous customers there would at least offer a goodwill gesture of some sort . They flatly refused to even offer £10 off. I have since realised that many of the hotels they use do their own special offers that are on a par so worth going straight to the hotels. They would have got the money back several times over if they had least offered a token gesture but decided to pocket the unused voucher money of £200 themselves . There seems to be a recurring theme from the reviews of how shabbily customers are treated once OPL have your cash regardless of circumstances .
Very easy website to use. I needed to change the date and that was done without any effort. Would definitely use the website again
This company let's you make your booking, take thr card payment etc but doesn't actually confirm the booking until, for us it was the following day, after mid day. We were due to travel the next morning so went from thinking we were going away to being told the hotel may be full. I will not be using off peak again as I feel the uncertainty as to whether the booking was accepted or not is not good business practice in todays computerised world.
Very disappointed with the service and attitude of the lady who rang me three times nit picking at the booking.
Positives first. We were upgraded to The Cariad Suite which was absolutely superb! Amazing staff on reception, giving a warm welcome. We were so delighted to stay there!! I feel so guilty giving a three star, I really do. Another positive, the food was really good and the staff could not be friendlier and accommodating. Ok the negatives … the spa guys ! What’s happened ! It seriously needs an upgrade. I’m not going to list it all because I’m sure you know what you need to do., it’s really letting you down. So disappointing 😢
Appalling company despite a contract as stated in their terms and conditions they cancelled my reservation, bought in good faith, due to a pricing error in my favour. However, had I made the mistake their terms and conditions say they are not obliged to amend the contract.
From the reviews it seems they are rather inflexible if an error by the customer is made. I think it’s really unfair that this business thinks their own terms and conditions do not apply and write misleading information about points of law in their communications to mislead their customers into thinking they have no case to answer.
I wouldn’t mind but the only reason they realised their mistake was when I emailed with a query. Having sent me written confirmation including the phase PAID IN FULL. They suspended my payment and have now returned it and have tried to tell me there was never a contract when my solicitor has confirmed that there certainly was, and I have every right to take them to court for breach of contract.
I think this company just thinks because it is difficult there is an expense to challenge them that wronged customers will just give up and go away. I will not and look forward to testing in Court whether or not a contract was breached. It’s not even about the holiday, it’s about the principle - wish me luck 🍀 The customer is not always right but sometimes Companies are definitely wrong - sometimes it takes a court to decide.
The reply by Off Peak Luxury is fabrication, I payed £225 pounds for the break I purchased not £1 a night that they have reported here, it was not clear it was a mistake at all. I have documentation that proves this, sadly they feel the need to lie and rewrite the facts, more proof that this company can not be trusted!

Booked a great value stay through offpeakluxury but then got ill at the last minute. These guys did everything they could to help in a difficult situation, when the amendment/cancellation period had ended. Highly recommend them! Very helpful and do what they can 👍🏼😃

Very pleased with the service received from OPL. I recently arranged a special birthday treat for a family member through them and they had a brilliant stay in Cornwall. I can not fault Offpeakluxury at all! I do tend to book the same hotel break at The Orestone Manor which has a fabulous Gourmet Escape deal, the only problem with hotel is it's quite difficult to book a twin room. This is where the excellent customer service at Off Peak Luxury step in and regardless of how many emails it takes, ensure the correct room is booked.
Every customer service lady I have been in contact with has been very helpful and friendly and I can safely say they actually care! Not all companies have the same standards.
My team bought a gift voucher a year ago and prepaid 300£. Unfortunately I missed the expiration date by 10 days and asked for some goodwill regarding the prolongation of the voucher. Received a very harsh reply that this is not possible and it is my responsibility to keep track of the expiration date....
If I would have received customer money in advance I would have kindly reminded the customer of the expiration date! Seems the company is appreciating keeping the money without delivering any service! So if you look for good customer service and a good customer offering, I have one advice - hands off!

All factual correct, however not changing the fact that you are accepting keeping customer's money with delivering no value. Then referring to your T&Cs is simply weak and shows that your company does not value customers at all.
I am fine and have now booked the wished accommodation at a competitor's website being cheaper than your offer even incl. the voucher :-) So sad for my colleagues that they spent the money and of course you will not see me again as a customer that is for sure.

The phone was answered quickly. The agent was friendly and very helpful. She rang back promptly with the answers to our questions.
I read reviews on this company before making a booking as I like another reviewer thought the offer was too good to be true. We stayed 2 nights at Danesfield House in Marlow on a package which included champagne on arrival, room upgrade if available which we were given. Dinner one night and breakfast both mornings. Full use of spa which was excellent. This was cheaper than the hotel’s own website which wanted almost the same for a one night stay. I would definitely book with this company again.
