A lovely Lady named Mary helped me book the Willington Hall hotel break this morning. She was so kind and understanding about my requirements and went above and beyond by confirming back to me when the booking had been accepted by the hotel.
It was the best experience I have ever had when using a voucher to book an experience. It’s a standard all other companies should strive to emulate!!!
We made a booking, using their website for the first time but, unfortunately (due to illness) we were unable to go.
Not even a remote problem: Offpeakluxury simply issued us with a full value voucher, and we have now rebooked.
It was that simple and uncomplicated.
This is a very high quality booking company, who we will use often in the future.
I made a mistake in the date when booking on line and had to contact customer service via email. They were fantastic and between them made the correct booking on my behalf. They deserve all the credit for providing a true customer support experience.
A very good package was offered and the website was very easy to use to make the booking.
Every thing was easy and straightforward good clear information made my booking very simple 😀
We work as a supplier to Off Peak Luxury and, unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing. Communication is consistently slow or absent, and payments owed to us have been repeatedly delayed despite multiple assurances. This has caused serious operational difficulties and a great deal of frustration.
Based on our experience, we would strongly suggest that guests book directly with the relevant hotel rather than through Off Peak Luxury. Doing so provides clearer communication, more reliable service, and direct support should anything go wrong with a reservation.
Regrettably, we cannot recommend Off Peak Luxury as a dependable business partner.

I am a hotelier. Off Peak Luxury are in financial difficulties. Last year they merged with Pets Pyjamas and they could not remit funds for over six months to hoteliers for guest bookings they took on behalf of hoteliers. This year the same is happening again. They take a booking and the cash from a guest and then do not remit the funds to the hotelier. Guests - be aware do not book with them - book direct.

Spoke to a bookings agent and I have to say if every company gave the same level of service that this lady did, the world would be a happier place. I cannot recommend her more highly. Well done for having staff that actually know what they are doing, and do so with politeness.
We booked Sudbury house hotel through Off Peak Luxury £253 for one night for my husbands 60th Birthday. The hotel was nothing like off peak luxury portray on their website. Dated tired room no customer care dining room resembled a canteen. We had requested a bottle of champagne to be put in the room this was warm and when we opened it corked and couldn’t be replaced as this was all they had. I could go on with various other issues.
I complained to off peak luxury who apologised and said they needed to speak to the hotel after hearing nothing further I contacted off peak luxury who advised me that they were still waiting to hear from the hotel. 3 weeks later I received a response from off peak luxury attaching an apology from the hotel and offering me a £60 refund from the hotel for the champagne which I hadn’t paid for anyway.
Although the hotel was way below standard my issue is with off peak luxury all they have done is blame the hotel. They advertised this hotel on their off peak luxury website with photos that look nothing like the hotel they took my booking and they took my money.
However they are not prepared to take any responsibility. I would not recommend this company if you require a luxury hotel do not go by photos on their website

Pleasant and efficient rep, finding space for us where others couldn't
The excellent support and advice provided by Paula throughout the process made it so easy to book the holiday we wanted.
This company took a booking from us we paid up front. When we got to the hotel (150 miles away) we were told that the booking had been cancelled as OPL Leisure Group had not paid their bills. We had to fork out for a nights stay and a meal before driving the 150 miles back home. We are both beyond our mid 70's and this was unacceptable. They offered us a £150 voucher to use on another of their holidays. We declined.
Many was very helpful and found exactly what we were looking for and confirmed the booking very quickly.
Several phone calls between us, as we had a number of quite specific requirements. Your staff were patient and helpful at every stage and could not have been more pleasant.
Fantastic pricing for my luxury Edinburgh hotel break. Even better value than secret escapes as i get a bottle of prosecco in my room on arrival, for the same price. Will book with you again
While the staff on the new booking line are helpful and friendly, (thank you Paula) the "customer service" member of staff I eventually spoke to ( after 6 phone calls and 3 emails) was unhelpful to the point of being downright rude. I don't believe in mentioning names involving a complaint in a public domain, but hopefully it will be apparent who the member of staff is. It's hard to believe there would be more than one who behaves this way.
There's no direct phone line for customer service enquiries, so calls have to be made via the new sales team, which is a convoluted process and a wholly unnecessary complication.
Requests by email for a call back are repeatedly ignored, until they are threatened with escalation. When I did receive a call back, the advisor was unpleasant, argumentative and as unhelpful as it was possible to be.
Given that our enquiry related to a possible cancellation or postponement due to a terminal illness diagnosis, it's hard to imagine a more sensitive subject being handled so appallingly. The caller was actually cruel and heartless in her lack of empathy.
Even if nothing could be done, there are ways of delivering that message in a sympathetic and caring way.
Perhaps her manager would listen to the, hopefully recorded, call and give her some hints on true customer service.

We booked the Mosborough Hall through Offpeakluxury to meet up with friends. The offer was a two night break that included an evening meal on the first night and a complimentary room upgrade on arrival (which none of us received). The hotel looks lovely on the outside with a degree of historic charm. Unfortunately that charm is left at the front door, after all this is supposed to be a Best Western Plus hotel the inside lets it down. The rooms we and our friends had were dated with tatty furniture, lumpy beds that were not very comfortable mould around the bath and taps. They don't even make up your room "To reduce the impact on the environment" Not sure we would have stayed if we had known this was now their policy.
The Evening meal was just about okay, really nothing better than pub grub. I say that because three of us ordered chicken which when served were all identical in shape and size felt is was pre-packed food.
The breakfast was also just about ok. It was made to order on the first day but then became a buffet on the second day.
It certainly wasn't worth what we paid for the break and it certainly wasn't what I would call luxury. I'm not sure who vets the hotels on offer and it is maybe something Offpeakluxury needs to look at

Good, old-fashioned customer service experience. Phone answered promptly; the lady I spoke with was very helpful; and, she was incredibly efficient. It was a pleasure to deal with your company. Such a rarity these days.
What I liked the most about my booking experience was that the customer services were extremely helpful and they offered personalised support. They listened and did find what I was looking for! With great offers!!! They were also very quick in their responses and finding offers that matched my request.
