Each week we deliver fresh pasta and delicious sauces to your door ready to cook and eat in under 5 minutes In 2017 we packed up our possessions and our 6 month old son and went on a tour of Italy to learn the authentic way to make fresh pasta. Now we deliver fresh pasta and homemade sauces to you. Made each morning, our pasta is the freshest around. We are sorry to hear the portions weren’t quite right for you.
We aim to serve 120–140g of pasta per portion, which is typically more than a restaurant would offer, but we completely appreciate that everyone’s expectations are different. I have passed this on to the kitchen to ensure that our weights are calibrated correctly.

Absolutely love the pasta and the variety of dishes offered every week.
Some downsides though (that I didn't think warranted a star off):
- Had some problems with delivery in the first weeks- thankfully customer service was very helpful.
- Small portions (but maybe thats our fault)
- But most importantly, I'd really like the option to be able to order more than 6 portions- especially considering there being 4 pastas to choose from- 2 hungry people go through 6 portions EASILY within the first 3 days!!

We’re sorry there were delivery issues in your first few weeks with us, although we’re glad our customer service team could help resolve things quickly.
We also appreciate the feedback on portion sizes and the current 6-portion limit. We understand that for some households it doesn’t go very far, but we are getting a new website (fingers crossed in the next month!) which should allow you to order more!

We have really enjoyed our Nonna Tonda experience to-date. The sauces are delicious (though we'd like a little more!) and the pasta is fresh and fantastic!
We have really enjoyed our Nonna Tonda experience so far. The delivery service, packaging and simplicity of making the dishes has been superb and the flavour/quality of the product has been amazing. There is just one thing my son and I have consistently said which is that the ratio of pasta to sauce quantities isn't quite right for us. We would prefer 10% less pasta and 10% more sauce. The balance, we feel, would improve our eating experience even more as more of the pasta would be coated with the delicious sauces we have had so far. It's only our personal viewpoint, but one which I hope might be considered.

Wednesday’s (our delivery day) have become ‘Nonna Tonda Day’ in our house, we look forward to it every week. Genius idea for people like us who work crazy hours and often give in to the mid-week takeout urge when we’re too tired to cook. Fresh, unprocessed pasta instead? Game changer.

Watery sauce
We tried the Strozzapreti with Neopolitan Beef Ragù tonight and honestly, it wasn’t great.
The biggest issue was the sauce consistency. The instructions suggested adding water, but thankfully we ignored that because it was already far too watery as it was. Adding more would have completely ruined it. The sauce lacked richness and depth, and instead felt thin and diluted rather than slow-cooked and comforting like a proper ragù should.
The pasta itself was fine, but the overall dish just didn’t come together. The flavours were fairly flat and it didn’t deliver the hearty, glossy beef ragù experience the description promised.
Disappointing overall, especially given how good it sounds on the packaging. Hopefully the other two meals in the box are much better.

In some cases, the sauce can need a little extra time on the heat to reduce and thicken properly, but we understand that this wasn’t clear from the instructions and affected your overall experience.
We’ll be sharing your feedback directly with our kitchen team as we continue refining both our recipes and cooking guidance to ensure all the dishes we send out are up to the standard we expect.

Disappointed
Very disappointed having been recommended Nonna Tonda. While I agree with others about generous portions there just wasn’t any taste. My meal was very bland and I found myself raiding my fridge looking for things to add to it to make a better taste.

Wow! The crab ravioli this week was restaurant quality. Generous filling with lovely, delicate sauce.
Also just had the prosciutto and mushroom pizza, which I did top up on the mushrooms but it was the pizza dough that made this! It was like the pizza we had in Milan, very authentic.
Can't wait till next week🤗

I love that you can have this fortnightly or even once a month. You can tell it is very fresh and 100 times better than a take out. The quality of the food is amazing.
It takes minutes to prep too.
I would recommend these meals, my 8yr old girls had loved them too 😋 ❤️

Sauce not right
Last,week had the crab pasta. Nothing wrong with the pasta but did not get a sauce - ended up as melted butter. Bit disappounting.

My first time using this company and I’m not disappointed. Delicious, light and so simple to prepare. You can tell a lot of love has gone into the pasta and its quality and the filling and sauces, delivered with speed and accuracy. I also never realised you can freeze the pasta which was a bonus.

Can't fault it. Communication with the team outstanding from how long it takes to respond to how helpful and informative they are, ease of ordering and selecting dishes, ease of putting it on hold if you want to skip a week etc, delivery, packaging, the flavour and ease of use cooking the dishes, comes with an instruction card for each dish. Everything first class. 5***** and then some. Absolutely delighted with my first dish. I split the portion in two as I live alone and more than enough for one person. A very good amount. Absolutely delicious fresh pasta which was light and delicate. Sauce was absolutely delicious and loved the whole pine nuts in the pesto dish I had. So excited for the next dish and future dishes to come. Looks like they're stuck with me. I've tried various delivery services etc and so far this one is the best so if you love Italian cuisine I would 100% recommend Nonna Tonda food/meal delivery service. You can tell they know what they're doing. Highly professional company and very talented and good at what they do. It really does taste authentic and you can tell they're passionate and love what they do with every last detail. Also excellent value for money in my humble opinion especially the more portions you buy. Restaurant quality food for a fraction of the price and without having to leave the comfort of your home

Delivery experience frustrating
The quality of the food and concept are good but the delivery experience is frustrating. I've had to wait in all day before and the tracking is not reliable and just not feasible for people who can't afford to wait in all day. If you have a street level property then maybe it'll work for you. Otherwise for me the failings don't warrant the price.

Restaurant quality food and so easy to make!
Every dish has been amazing and so easy! The pasta dishes are so quick to make and the pizza ones really taste like a pizza in a restaurant. I was initially planning to try it as a one off but have been getting it every week - it’s so good! Portion sizes are great, always feel full but never leave any waste! Also shout out to Will who first introduced me to Nonna Tonda in Victoria.

Very disappointed- far too salty - threw it away - now finding it very difficult to cancel no option to do this on menu!!!!! However made the pizza tonight wasn’t giving up absolutely delicious !!!
