Each week we deliver fresh pasta and delicious sauces to your door ready to cook and eat in under 5 minutes In 2017 we packed up our possessions and our 6 month old son and went on a tour of Italy to learn the authentic way to make fresh pasta. Now we deliver fresh pasta and homemade sauces to you. Made each morning, our pasta is the freshest around. Predatory cancellation practices
The food is good quality and tends to be worth the price, although the vegetarian recipe options aren't as varied or interesting as I hoped they'd be.
However their cancellation policies are surprisingly predatory: your online account makes it look like you can cancel at the click of a button, and when you try to do so you're taken through multiple steps where it asks you to confirm that yes, you definitely want to cancel. And then right at the last moment you're told, sorry, the only way to cancel is to call or email them.
I was trying to cancel before the 22:00 cut off (after which you cannot cancel the next delivery), and I called the number supplied, but conveniently they aren't open after 17:00, and they offer no automated phone cancellation option. So this effectively means the cut off isn't 22:00 - it's 17:00, since this is the last time of day anyone will be available. As a result I was unable to cancel and they've sent out food I do not want.
This cancellation policy is sneaky and while technically legal, is absolutely anti-consumer and guarantees I won't be return despite the quality of the food. Every company I can think of, including independents, offer cancellation online. It's extraordinary that Nonna Tonda have chosen not to offer this in the hope that they're able to reduce the number of cancellations.
If you're having to reduce churn by making it difficult for people to cancel that doesn't suggest you have a lot of confidence in your product.

We're very sorry to hear about your experience with cancellation. We understand why this felt frustrating, particularly when you were trying to make changes before the 22:00 cut-off and were unable to reach us outside office hours.
To clarify, customers are able to skip deliveries and manage their upcoming orders online, but we recognise that the cancellation journey has not met your expectations. We certainly never want customers to feel that managing their subscription is difficult or unclear.
Your feedback regarding the timing of our support hours relative to the order cut-off is fair, and we'll ensure it is shared with the relevant team. Customer feedback plays an important role in how we improve our service and account experience.
We're especially sorry to hear that this experience has overshadowed your enjoyment of the food. While we're disappointed that we've lost your trust, we do appreciate you taking the time to explain your concerns in such detail.

Our meals are portioned and weighed to provide two standard adult servings, but we completely appreciate that appetites vary and what feels sufficient for one household may not for another.

Sharp plastic in meal
It was 4* but I’ve just encountered a large piece of sharp black plastic I. My meal this eve. Luckily I caught it in my teeth before ingestion :/
Be careful. Not as ‘wholesome’ ingredients as advertised.

This will help us trace the batch and understand how this may have occurred.
We sincerely apologise for the concern and disappointment this has caused. This is not representative of the standards we strive to uphold, and we would appreciate the opportunity to investigate and make things right.
Just not what I was expecting
Customer service is excellent but I am afraid for me the pasta and pizza dishes just did not live up to what I expected. I found the dishes to be hit and miss.
For example, the last dish I had was a seafood pasta. I was expecting some prawns etc but all it had was tuna. Perhaps I did not read the description with a fine tooth comb but I did not see exactly what seafood was in the dish when reading the description on my phone or on the preparation card. Therefore if I had have known I would not have chosen this dish.
Other than that the packaging was wonderful and the delivery excellent. I am just not a big fan of the pasta and pizza dishes.

Tasty food ready in 5 minutes, excellent service
Excellent service, such tasty, delicious, satisfying, high quality food ready in 5 minutes. Good options to choose from and I have often tried the vegetarian dishes. Dishes you would find in a restaurant and not available in supermarkets. Great for me as when on-call, and come in late, I can make a meal quickly without having to think too much about it. Meals 2 dinners or 3 small lunches. Can freeze it as well and make at a later date, which is a bonus when planning meals. There is the flexibility to skip delivery if you don't fancy the dishes or not in. Well worth it. Been a customer for 3 years and definitely recommend.

Got lured in by the free pasta
Got lured in by the free pasta pop-up, but it’s clearly just a way to get people to sign up to a subscription that sounds way more flexible than it actually is. The guy came across quite patronising, and once I realised it might not be for me, the attitude felt very dismissive as he just walked away to grab the next customer. Not a great way to sell a product - you’ve lost a potential customer, and kinder staff would definitely help. Avoid!!

A real treat
I've been enjoying all the various dishes for some weeks now but the one I had today - ziti with ewe's milk ricotta, basil and lemon - was outstanding! I added a few fresh basil leaves which only enhanced the wonderfully creamy sauce. Being alone, I eat one portion on two succeeding days, so am really looking forward to dinner tomorrow. I hope this dish is offered again before too long as I will certainly choose it again.

5 stars because it tastes great but…
5 stars because it tastes great but please try and have more than just 2 meat options per week. 4 veg options vs 2 meat options is not great and makes me cancel the whole weeks order. Perhaps at least 3 meat options or maybe an extra meat pasta dish would be great and I would definitely order more consistently.

Unfortunately we couldn’t give a good score ! Not for the food because we never got any. But the service of website really is not acceptable , unnecessarily complicated. We call twice to get help to filling in .. then we thought everything was ok ,. We wait for delivery , never came , we ring again and just to find out we’re not getting because the tech who help didn’t finished the application SHAME.

Truly awesome pasta
The pasta is truly great quality and we really enjoy the recipes a lot, even the vegetarian ones. There have been issues with delivery a couple of times but customer service has been quick and very helpful.
