I started ordering from Nio Teas a few years ago after getting my green tea directly from Japan for many years. The quality of the organic green tea that I can get from Nio Teas is truly excellent, and far better than I've been able to find elsewhere. A wonderful company.

I drink the Sakamoto gyokuro everyday and it's my all time favorite tea!

Great products and great company. Recently I was really disappointed in one of their matchas. This had never happened before and I ordered different products during the last year. I wrote them and they replied almost immediately. They send me a replacement product without any charges. Great customer service!

They advertise to ship free over $ 50 and they still want to charge you the shipping fee, no matter what. I have issue with the credibility here

Horrible experience. Ordered on 4/20, here we are on 5/12 and my order hasn't shipped. The limited communication I have had has all been initiated by me. Constant runaround from them. Now they are telling me what I ordered is out of stock.. well if I didn't email you, would you have ever told me? I was incredibly patient, but they never once tried to fix the issue or do right by me. I should not have to chase a company around to get my order fulfilled. Avoid.

I've ordered many times before at Nio and tried a lot of their amazingly different Matcha, Sencha and Kukicha teas.

In the past I've tried 50+ different brands and blends of matcha from other webshops but I couldn't find my perfect "cup of tea" from any other store, until I tried the samplers from Nio that helped me discover the perfect "match" for me.

Their support team is very kind too.

This is my second posting regarding Nio Teas. My first review, back in July, lauded the company for outstanding service. This has not changed, and I will continue doing business with them. This time, I would like to comment on the product they offer. The matcha they sell has changed my life! I have lost 20 lbs. since I began drinking matcha twice a day 6 months ago. All of the claims about matcha being a superfood are true! The feeling of calm/alert and the general sense of well-being I experience are incredible! I implore everyone to experience this remarkable tea for themselves! Also, I stay with Nio Teas selection of matcha because of their commitment to offering only pesticide-free tea!

Nioteas, please stop using fedex for your deliveries in Norway. Fedex is a nightmare to deal with, both when it comes to their customer service, but also in actually receiving your package. I have yet to receive my package although I placed my order 17 days ago. Imagine getting an email saying your package was not delivered because you were not at home — when you’re sitting in your own home! Then imagine this happening twice! At this point I’m not even sure I’ll ever receive the thing..

I am quite pleased to have discovered NIO TEAS, while watching a youtube video about the history of green tea. I found their website quite informative, and with a great selection of teas. What I valued the most was that you get all the necessary info about the tea, and that they focus on sourcing it from places in Japan that value tradition, craft and organic farmig.

I fell in love with the Silver Uji Matcha tea, can warmly recommend it! It just feels like a hug in a mug! The color is just right, the powder is fine and the taste is very rich and silky. I would recommend this to both seasoned matcha drinkers and people who want to try matcha - but do not know where to start.

I was also amazed about the fair prices and offers that they have. Honestly I think this is one of the best places to get quality matcha and for a price that does not break the bank. Moreover, for me it was even better to see that they also ship to Europe. I had a hard time finding sites that ship to Europe - and for a fair price.

Last but not least, I want to give a praise to their amazing customer service! I ordered previously another matcha, and I could see it was a good quality tea. Yet the taste was not to my liking but this was subjective thing, I could recognize the quality, it was just not my taste. The customer service was very helpful with providing further advice on how to prepare the tea in the hopes of improving my taste experience. When this did not work, they were understanding and flexible to send me a Uji matcha instead.

All in all great business and service! Can only recommend. I am at least converted to a loyal client. :)

Recently I've been ordering the Gyokuro Saemidori Cha Meijin, and I must say, it's absolutely sublime. The quality of the tea is top notch, offering an authentic taste with every sip. Ive purchased through Nio Teas before and always received amazing products and services. Recently an order of mine took two weeks longer than expected to ship. I reached out to their customer service and they were super informative, personable, friendly, and helpful and kept me updated with the status of my order.

Agnese was incredibly nice and helpful and personally kept me in the loop on why my order was delayed and notified me as soon as it had been shipped.

I know i sound like a shill for Nio Teas but they really really deserve it. They are hands down the best place to go for Japanese green teas and stuff. Plus the YouTube channel is really informative.

Anyways… they’re awesome. The website has way more information about the type of tea you are ordering as well as the flavor profiles it has. Most other loose leaf tea companies just give you vague descriptions. Ive tried other brands like Ocha & co which has always been a bit more lackluster and the price you pay for the mediocre quality of tea is frustrating. Plus its hard to tell what you’re getting until you're drinking it.
