Bottle and cap do not seal closed properly

I bought NARS Light Reflecting foundation. It is very runny and watery. The issue is not what is in the bottle but the bottle and cap itself. It does not seal closed properly, so it spills everywhere if not upright. Whether I twist or push down hard, it does not seal. When I travel I have to tape the cap on and wrap it in a plastic bag. That’s ridiculous for any fluid product, let alone a high end make up. I emailed the company and while they initially apologized they made no suggestion on fixing the issue. I wrote again and they asked for a receipt. I did not have my receipt but asked for an address and name of a contact to send them their flawed bottle and cap. They did not get back to me. You can’t sell fluid in a bottle with a cap that does not seal closed. Full stop. I’ll never buy another product from NARS again.

Lipstick came damaged

Lipstick came damaged. Sent email and they immediately said they would send a replacement. Asked me to confirm my shipping address which I thought was an odd request since they had it on file. Regardless, I provided this to them and they then completely ghosted me. Oddly enough, I received an email a few days later stating since I never confirmed my shipping address they were closing out may case. What?!?!

So then I tried to call, the phone picks up with only a barking dog in the background and no human to speak to. Stayed on the phone for several minutes and still nothing. Hung up and called again and the exact same thing happened. Frustrated, I tried texting which was only AI and completely not helpful. Finally got it to understand I wanted to talk to an agent and they made me repeat my name 4x (not even kidding!). Again and again, they asked for my first name, then last name then email address. Just over and over again, the same questions. I really think this is Nars' way to get the customer to give up!

Even if the lipstick had not come damaged it is completely over priced. Extremely small, almost looks like a sample product.

Prodotto eccezionale!!! Fondotinta Light Reflecting acquistato nel mese di luglio, ottima esperienza di professionalità del servizio clienti on line e telefonicamente.
La sig.ra Daniela ha seguito una richiesta di reso per doppio errato ordine con chiarimenti e risposte celeri e sempre esaustive.
Consiglio questa azienda in ogni senso!!!👍🥰

una truffa, mai più!

Esperienza pessima!! Ho fatto un'acquisto un mese e mezzo fa, ma il pacco arrivato era mancante di un prodotto che però è segnato nella mia ricevuta di acquisto e che ho pagato. Ho subito contattato l'assistenza telefonicamente, che si è resa super disponibile, ma senza nessun tipo di risultato. La ragazza mi aveva assicurato che il problema si sarebbe risolto, che il magazzino centrale doveva controllare la disponibilità del prodotto, e che in caso fosse finito me lo avrebbero sostituito con un prodotto di pari valore, e che nel frattempo si sarebbe resa disponibile. Una presa in giro, sono passati quasi due mesi e non c'è ombra di prodotto, una vergogna e una vera truffa! Così facendo non mi hanno nemmeno permesso di fare il reso del resto dei prodotti, illudendomi di risolvere il problema. Per non parlare della disponibilità, l'unica risposta che ho ricevuto alla mia mail è stata dopo una settimana, mentre le altre sono state completamemnte ignorate!!

Labiales de Nars

No volvere a comprar en Nars, tres productos iguales y los tres venian defectuosos, y no es por el transportes los han metido al cliente la atencion fatal, con fotos incluidas y el pedido recien llegado el embalaje perfecto pero han metido productos con defecto, voy a meter el caso por paypal porque directamente no hacen caso, y ha sido una compra importante, tener cuidado que meten productos rotos y lo digo con todas las letras, acaban quedandose con el dinero y tu con lo roto que no sacan a la venta, firma que deja mucho que desear!!!

I would give them a zero if offered. I worked cosmetic counters for 35 years and without good customer service you have no business. I ordered a specific amount for a gift and to recieved the bonus items offered if spending over $100. I recieved no bonus products. Customer service basically there’s no guaranteed. But I can talk to done e about finding right product?! Ok but why? She said I’m sending you prepaid return for items. Uh ok so I returned

If possible I would have given zero…

If possible I would have given zero stars, I’ve actually never had a worse customer service experience with a company. Imagine building an order, they ship it incorrectly so you call and they tell you they can stop the shipment and return it no problem but when you ask to have the order recreated and sent out correctly they tell you it can’t be done at the same discount. Horrible , horrible customer service, I can find better brands to support and will just no longer purchase from Nars

Great place to do your makeup shopping

Absolutely warm and welcoming atmosphere from when my friend and I walked in and had a great consultation and conversation with the staff, especially Erin who made the consultation and shopping in nars amazing while going through makeup products in the shop and Erin was great informing us what products were best suited for us and it was great to meet her ❤️

Customer service nightmare

I don't know about the product itself because I realized right away that it wasn't the right color for me. But trying to return it has been an incredible customer service nightmare, and I think I'm going to have to give up.

Disappointing

Ordered a foundation for my mums birthday. The package arrived 2 days later totally empty! An empty box.. had to call to get another one sent out. Spent ages on the phone, had to sign something online to say i wasnt lying and 2 days later they still havent sent the replacement. It should have been sent out immediately next day delivery for the inconvenience!! Never again.

I visited your new outstanding Nars boutique in glasgow last Friday to attended the amazing master classes .The staff were just Lovley and the boutique was abs stunning .I will certainly be visiting your awesome boutique on a regular basis basis . No refund given

No refund given. I have returned the products and been waiting for my money back. I contacted them several times but they keep saying that they are checking with the warehouse. Poor customer service and worst experience. Stay away from Nars

BIGGEST SCAM – Avoid at all costs!

I placed an order and requested a return shortly after receiving it. I was sent a return label that didn’t work. I contacted customer service via email, since the phone number listed doesn’t even work (seriously?!). After several follow-up emails and repeated requests, I still haven’t received a valid return label.

This is by far the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. No support, no solution, and zero accountability. I feel completely scammed. Absolutely unacceptable – shame on this company for treating customers like this.

Love their products

Love their products, especially the concealer and Lip Powermatte Pigment. Exceptional customer service when I had an issue with an eyeliner. Would definitely recommend Nars

Horrible situation

Horrible situation: I paid more than 60 euros for this product (official Sephora Shop), and after less than a month, the dispenser cap got stuck inside, preventing me from using the product with the pump. I am forced to use it by taking it with various objects, like a makeup brush, thus contaminating the product.

Was not welcome

This is a review of my experience in the new Nars store opened on Buchanan Street in Glasgow.
Went in excited at getting some new makeup but clearly Im not the clientele they are looking for. Not only was I looked down upon by the staff but the customers in the store too. Wasnt greeted by staff, was rudely asked to move while a staff member accessed a draw, I walked around groud floor only trying a couple of items but was made to feel out of place. Not a place for a petite south asian woman in her 40s, dressed in everyday work attire.

Shocking Customer Service - Avoid at all costs

I would actually give them 0 stars if it were possible. I ordered two products in November, one of the products they sent was not at all what I ordered. They said I could return for a full refund, however I do not have a printer so the only way for me to return was via Royal Mail which would incur a cost. I don't see why I should pay for a return which was their error.

Eventually I managed to get a label printed and returned the item. I returned it on 3 January By 20 January I still had not had a refund. After countless emails I finally got a refund, only to find they had refunded the wrong product. I immediately contacted them and they asked for photographic proof of which item I kept. I sent this immediately but still to date, over a week later I have not heard anything from them.

Their customer services is probably the worst I have ever encountered. Their products are ok until you have a problem and then you have no hope of it being resolved.

I bought a foundation where the lid was…

I bought a foundation where the lid was faulty - I sent photographic evidence. I am waiting now ofr over three months ( since September 2024 ) for the pre paid label which they are blaming Royal Mail for !! they would not send me a new item even though the delay is due to them not sending me the label . this is ridiculous . a reputable company should look after its customers

Poor customer service

I bought a foundation in September. The lid is faulty and does not secure.
Sent pictures, video evidence and proof of purchase via email but NARS stated they did not receive! Resent to same email address.
Finally on 12th November NARS confirm they will refund but it will take time as they’re experiencing some issues with their prepaid labels. Still waiting on 24.12.24.
