Amazing

Our dog was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer in October last year and sadly passed away a few days ago , I have to say Napo insurance have been absolutely brilliant and supportive with us . All claims were settled quickly without any problems.

Brilliant

Napo have been brilliant during the on going treatment for our dog’s infected paws. Everything is properly explained and each claim has been speedily processed bringing some peace of mind at a worrying time.

Very simple to make a claim with NAPOQ

Very simple to make a claim as NAPO and our vet do it for me! A quick response from NAPO means my dog remains protected and I just pay what I need and don’t have to wait for reimbursements.

Outstanding experience so far!

Extremely easy to get a quote and start a policy . Recently doggo had bit of an accident and I have to say I was absolutely amazed by their 24/7 vet advice line , booking a time slot was super easy , it’s an app rather than a website meaning you get a notification of the incoming calls and don’t have to click anymore extra links , you actually get to see the vet you are speaking to which makes everything a lot easier.

Efficient and Friendly Claims Service

Very impressed by the speed and efficiency with which Napo dealt with my claim. The claim was agreed within a few hours of submitting the relevant information, and the service was friendly and helpful. Before taking out pet insurance with Napo, I had seen positive reviews about the claims service, and this has proven to be correct in my case!

Spoke with Dr Anita

I spoke with Dr Anita and she was lovely. Confirmed what we were doing was correct which reassured us. Suggested visit to our vets which we will be doing. She was going to send a report to our vets explaining the situation. So very helpful thank you.

Napo’s Claims Team were very helpful and efficient.

Napo’s Claims team were very pleasant, helpful and efficient in guiding me through several aspects of the claims process, liaising with the vet, and expediting a quick and successful application covering two separate claims. Payment was surprisingly quick - on the same day as claim approval.

Great choice for pet insurance

Great choice for pet insurance. Quotes are usually competitive and the app easy to use. Easy claims process and pay out very quickly. Claims can by made via the vet or indirectly if you need to pay up front.
Highly recommended...

Great service the vet was full of…

Great service the vet was full of information, helped understand what was going on with my dog and I needed to do to take care of him while he was ill. I was able to get a video call within 30 mins - such a great service

Amazing care after losing our beautiful dog

After losing our beautiful dog, Alfie, we were absolutely heartbroken. It’s one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through as a family, and at a time like that, the last thing you want is stress around insurance.

Napo were incredible.

From the very first message, everything felt human. Not scripted. Not transactional. Just genuine care and understanding from people who clearly love animals themselves.

Harriet was compassionate, patient and kind in every interaction, never rushing us, never making it feel like “just a claim.” She acknowledged the loss first and the paperwork second, which meant more than she’ll probably ever realise.

Dale followed up with the same warmth and empathy. Communication was clear, thoughtful and supportive throughout. We always felt kept in the loop, and the approval process was handled professionally and efficiently, without ever losing that personal touch.

And then they did something that meant so much, they sent a house plant.

Such a simple gesture, but incredibly thoughtful. In the middle of grief, receiving something living and symbolic of care was deeply moving. It wasn’t expected, but it showed real humanity.

In what was a devastating period for us, Napo made the practical side simple and stress-free. That matters enormously when you’re grieving.

Insurance is about more than policies and payouts, it’s about how you’re treated when you need help most. On that measure, Napo have been exceptional.

Thank you Harriet, thank you Dale, and thank you Napo for handling everything with such compassion and dignity

This company is absolutely brilliant! Over the years I’ve been with them I’ve had to make 3 claims and each time the experience has been so smooth with no snags at all. The people who work there are amazing and so caring when you have to contact them, to be honest it makes pet ownership so much happier knowing they have your back.

Excellent experience

Last Wednesday my GSD had two seizures. I was broken in two having to watch my beloved boy going through it. We were at the vet twice in the one day. The vet then suggested and MRI & Spinal tap to elimate cancer. A costly business and normally a nightmare when claiming through insurance at a time when your so worried about your pet.
I got in contact with Napo online and submitted the vets email and then the other bill for the Small animal hospital. Napo, was completely fuss and hassle free. I had an email back straight away and my claim was checked and paid out in 24hrs.
Excellent communication and speed in dealing with insurance at a very upsetting time.
Would recommend them 100% to anyone. Far better any of the big companies or supermarkets I have dealt with before.
Thank you for making one part of this horrible disease easier!

Glad to be moving to another insurer

After reading other reviews, I can see that my experience is not unique. Like many others, I’ve found that my renewal price has increased dramatically. The cost has risen to the point where I simply can’t afford to insure my older dog anymore, which is incredibly upsetting.

We have made one claim with Napo, and the process was extremely complicated and stressful. During what was already a difficult time for us, there was no empathy or understanding shown. It felt unnecessarily hard to navigate, adding to the worry we were already experiencing.

I also think it’s unacceptable that you can’t actually speak to someone directly. When dealing with a pet’s health, being able to talk to a real person is important.

Because of this experience, I’ll be moving our younger dog’s insurance elsewhere. For our older dog, we’ll likely just put the money aside ourselves rather than continue paying these premiums.

Overall, I am a very dissatisfied customer.

Renewal premiums can increase for a number of reasons, including rising veterinary costs and claims trends, particularly as pets get older. We know that doesn’t make it any less frustrating, and we’re sorry that the price has reached a point where it feels unaffordable.

We’re also very concerned to hear that your claims experience felt complicated and lacked empathy. That’s not the standard we aim to deliver, especially during what we know can be a very stressful time. Your feedback regarding communication and the ability to speak to someone directly is important.

Napo absolutely brilliant

Napo absolutely brilliant. Best pet insurance I’ve ever had and now transferred my other dog over to them. Kept informed throughout the treatment. I initially paid my Vet for the emergency treatment ( my Vet’s policy not Napo’s) and was re-imbursed fully within a week. Following treatment at Emergency Vet’s was paid in full direct from Napo, again within a week. No hidden costs or nasty surprises. Wouldn’t use any other Pet cover now and highly recommend.
