I found MyPocketSkill after a Google search, the site is very well arranged and it's easy to see potential Tutors including indicative hourly rates, I sorted through using my criteria and messaged a few. The actual tutor we are using replied very quickly and seemed not only friendly but was well organised and reliable in both his schedule and his methods.
MyPocketSkill and our specific Tutor have been a great find.
Like all these things, there is an element of "doing your own research" but to me that is a small price to pay for a very competitive and frankly better quality experience that I have had paying multiples of the rate in the past.

I struggled to be consistent or to put the time aside for social media to help with marketing my business. I used Annabel L on MPS and she really helped with the social media presence, lovely posts too! She was great to work with and the platform enabled me to find a cost effective solution to social media marketing without paying the huge amounts asked by the larger companies. It was also nice to be able to help a young person directly and overall it was a very positive experience. I only stopped as I took on an administrator who ran the socials in-house.

A great idea - so many young people got in contact after my initial enquiry about assistance in Maths. We had our first session on yesterday. There is no pressure for cameras to be on, just a whiteboard and a friendly voice demystifying some of the harder topics in GCSE Maths! I love supporting younger students who are clearly gifted in a subject but don't have a big tutoring business as they're still studying themselves.

My Pocket Skill is a great way to earn money as a uni student. It helps you improve your organisational skills, time management and grow your knowledge and expertise in any area you chose. Would highly recommend
