Brilliant item

Absolutely disgusting service

Absolutely disgusting service from this company. I bought a fridge for next day delivery. As this was over the Easter Sunday I expected delivery would be delayed. The fridge wasn’t delivered until Thursday. The door was badly scratched and marked so I had to return it for an exchange. The second fridge arrived with a dented door and broken foot. The packaging on both fridges was good and not damaged so I can only presume they were seconds although this is not mentioned in the description. The second fridge has been returned. I’ve made several phone calls to customer service who tell you what you want to hear then don’t follow through with their promises. A email confirmation of the refund was supposed to be received this afternoon but again nothing has been received. It’s been nearly two weeks and I have no fridge or refund. This is an absolutely disgusting service and one I definitely won’t be repeating.

15 tonne log splitter. Great piece of kit. Splits as i would expect. Rattles a bit but works great. Packaged well. Very compact if space is tight Should of bought it years ago

Frustrating experience with missing bits (twice). Poor quality and poor service.

Only part of the delivery arrived. I wasn’t told it had arrived but found it two days later round the wise of my house. Started to assemble the corner garden sofa and table with storage box and it wasn’t all there. Chased it by phone and was told I’d get a call back that afternoon or an email first thing in the morning. I got neither. Chased again and was told it was coming today. It arrived in the evening so the next day I began assembling it.

Firstly the storage box was missing a pre drilled hole so I had to secure one side of it with a cable tie. And it was really, really flimsy and not big enough to house all of the cushions without screwing them up.

Then in terms of the corner sofa, it was missing 8 bolts and washers so I couldn’t finish it. Had to chase yet again and not even an apology! Just said they would send bolts out but couldn’t tell me when.

The product itself is really poor for the money paid (c£800). It’s cheap flat pack rubbish with some small chips in the paint, bits that don’t line up properly and the two sofas are held together with one bolt and two Velcro straps ! This was supposed to be the “signature” range. I dread to think what the budget range is like.

Anyway, poor quality, poor service and poor communication. They should take a lesson from Next!

First and last time dealing with MonsterShop.

In addition, we regret that you felt unsupported when chasing updates. Not receiving promised follow-ups is unacceptable, and we are reviewing this internally to ensure it does not happen again.

We can see that our team has reached out via B&Q's messaging platform to request further details so we can resolve this for you as quickly as possible. If you’re willing, we would still very much like the opportunity to put this right—whether that’s through replacement parts, a resolution on the product itself, or another suitable outcome.

Your feedback is incredibly important to us, and it will be shared with both our product and logistics teams to help drive improvements.

Once again, we’re truly sorry for your experience and hope we can restore some confidence by resolving this matter for you.

Shocking do not order!

Shocking do not order!! Placed an order last week said next day delivery. Didn’t turn up after a week still stuck at depot to be told it has to get sent back to them to send to us with a different courier! Yet every day been told it’s on the way do not order!!
