I recently moved from Georgia to Tennessee. I had questions on my policy which were not answered and the customer service person was rude. When I asked for a supervisor, I was told that they do not have one. I called back and waited for 20 minutes with no supervisor. So, I called the next day and asked again. Again, I was initially refused. I stated this is enough so after about 15 minutes, another rude person came on the line by the name of Elana. She stated that she was the customer service manager. Due to her rudeness I asked who her supervisor was and she told me that it was the President of the company. I have had mile auto for a few years and never had this type of customer service. I needed a new policy but I would NEVER use this company again and cancelled the next day after I bought from another company.
No one should ever have to spend their hard earned money with a company that does not appreciate a customer. Other insurance companies do!!!!

I got my auto and let me tell you this is the best thing since sliced bread they live up to their word I got a very nice representative they always so nice my auto is the one that you want to go with I was with another company plan over $320 for a 2019 Toyota RAV4 and a 2007 Maxima with liability I went to my auto for the same price they go by the mile I'm now paying $1 like $30 it is a very very very very good company I have no complaints none whatsoever I love my uncle y'all tried if you don't drive a lot this would be the place where you need to be

We see that our system did not receive your mileage reading for the most recent month, so our Customer Care team is attempting to reach you by phone and email to get that odometer reading in order to adjust your payment accordingly. Just for the record, our monthly invoices reflect the miles actually driven in the prior month. If we do not receive a reading, our system automatically generates a "default charge" for 40 miles per day. Once that happens, when a customer reaches out, that can immediately be corrected to reflect a charge for the actual miles driven. We look forward to taking care of this situation for you. Just another crooked company!
Had several people run quotes with the same vehicle and basic information that would not effect the cost. Minimum liability insurance for a second vehicle that doesn't get driven except dump runs or home depot.
My insurance for my car wanted to charge me full fare for the second so I was shopping and heard stories of the fluctuating pricing so I gave a few people the same basic info to run from different locations. They all got different quotes. So I called them and they gave me a quote that was higher. I said no thanks and ran another quote from their website and it came in 33% cheaper. I called them back and asked them how that is possible SARA whom claimed to be a supervisor was rude and stated that multiple quotes were not possible because you have to enter your VIN and drivers license to get a quote.
I said,not from your website! Don't use your license,social, or phone number for a quote! They just get more money from selling your information and they are not required buy law.Then extended her rudeness and said she knew what she was talking about and she is a customer too. I said you work there and you had to use the website to get your insurance. Sounds unfeasible or stupid!
You have my information what aspects would make my quote cheaper? She said your quote is what it is. Is it fraud or stupidity. 50 years of different scams from all insurance companies makes shopping around a necessity. The electronic wall saves many a gutless weasel the beatings they deserve. Another negative situation created by the use of business phones and Internet!
Here's hoping the next time you need insurance it's for medical recovery!

Dear Feathers Galore - All auto insurance, including insurance from Mile Auto, depends on the personal details of the applicant (things like prior claims, prior insurance coverage, age, address, etc.). To get a full quote, all insurers also require a drivers license number, home address, garaging address for the vehicle and VIN. A full and accurate quote does not depend upon generalized information, but specific information relevant to you, your vehicle, your claims history, and your motor vehicle violations. So, unless you shared all your personal information with the "several people" who ran your quotes, they would not get the same result. Also, most insurance companies run antifraud analytics in the background that detect multiple users attempting to defraud insurance companies, so your efforts to obtain multiple quotes by multiple people using the same information would also likely trigger such system protection mechanisms. I had a serious auto accident and it was very devastating. I spoke to 2 Mile Auto reps immediately after and they helped guide me in what to do and when. Then Tiffany from claims followed up with me later in day and she was amazing. Kind. Helpful and took extra time to reassure me all would be ok. I feel like she is a friend! Good stuff
Honestly? I work five minutes from home and am very much a homebody. This was the cheapest option BY FAR and worked exactly as I needed it to. That being said, if you drive even a "normal" amount, expect the rates to be much higher. A $140 bill can very quickly turn into a $190 if you don't pay attention. Again, I wouldn't call this a fault, just a heads-up.
The customer service was always professional and speedy.

We are built for drivers who typically drive less than 10,000 miles per year, and the less you drive, the more you save. However, since we are pay-per-mile, the opposite is also true: the more you drive, the more you will pay. So, as you said, it's important to understand how much you drive since the amount you pay monthly can go up and down, depending on the miles you drive. It's kind of like your electric bill - you pay a base monthly amount and then the bill varies based on exactly what you use. CAN'T CANCEL MY INSURANCE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. FRAUD

I wish I could give this company 0 stars. This company is a scam. I called customer service to cancel my insurance plan. The company confirmed and sent a confirmation email. However, the following month I was still charged to renew the plan. I called a second time to complain, and they said they would cancel and send me an email. I said they had already done that, so why were they still charging me? I want my money back. They hung up. What's going on if this isn't a scam?
I am calling my bank to dispute the transaction, and report that is a fraud!

Can’t cancel my policy. They autocharged
I called them to cancel my policy, and get an email to confirm that. However they still autorenew it and charged me. No way to cancel. Absolutely fraud!
