For the longest time, my Mother and I both had Mile Auto and they were fine, though like any insurance co they slowly were raising the base of the premium and the cost per mile. I had a wreck and totaled my F-150 and could not do a thing about their claims for 5 MONTHS despite calling them everyday, the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing and it took me pushing them daily to get my insurance pay out, they are not in a hurry but its not them that lost a truck worked hard for and a pay out to get myself another truck. I would not recommend them ever. 2 stars just cause they are an affordable option especially remote workers and retirees. Claims matter so be mindful if you consider them, but I wouldn't!

Very happy with my policy. I've recommended this company to a few other people and it seems to be a good experience for them as well. I really appreciate the customer service. I had to call to get my policy updated and the customer service rep was very helpful, quick and friendly.

The staff member was clear and guide me to understand the importance of the information as required. And explain my question!

Finn was absolutely outstanding with his Patience and knowledge. Had just sold a vehicle and it was at the Dealership but I had to send my odometer readings. Got the invoice and Fin walked me thru the whole process without any problems. Great representative and outstanding customer service .

My husband and I switched our insurance to Mileauto about six months ago. Prior to that we had used the same high profile auto insurance for seven years straight at a very expensive rate, and although we had seven years of loyalty and we are older, and our driving records were clear, the cost kept rising! You would think having a great record being older and loyal to accompany a year after year we would see discounts, but it was never the case, and we had never filed any claims. Finding my auto insurance was a complete and unexpected surprise. At first we thought it must be a scam. This couldn’t be real and then we found out it actually not only as real. It’s amazing!!!
All those years of payingall of those prices almost made us sick to our stomach, once we discovered my lotto and realized how much money we were wasting every single month!
Mileauto completely changed our car insurance experience 100%!!
Now we couldn’t be happier with our decision. not only do we pay a fourth of the cost yes I said 1/4 the cost for complete coverage. We appreciate the fact that one of our vehicles is only used to move things from time to time why our other vehicle is our regular day-to-day use and having it rate different makes complete logicalsense us.😁
We’ve only have had positive experiences with customer service. Every person we’ve talked to or been in contact has been nothing but positive, helpful, and informative. We couldn’t be happier with not only the cost but the customer service and its policies and procedures. Thank you again so much for making car insurance affordable and available. Something very unique to find in the country these days!

When my debit card expired, I called and provided them the new number. They ended up adding my card to someone else's policy, cancelling mine and sending the notification to the wrong address. They refuse to work with me in solving the issue, and insist that I need to deal with the incident as fraud through my bank.

Edit: The problem absolutely was not "immediately corrected once it was brought to our attention" as claimed below, but publicly complaining about problems appears to be your best hope if the company does make an error that they otherwise refuse to fix. A one star review here (and a BBB complaint) were more effective than two weeks worth of phone calls.

YESTERDAY, 07-30-26, JENNIFER IN CUSTOMER CARE, A SUPERVISOR, CAME ON THE LINE TO ASSIST ME IN PROPER TRANSMISSION OF THE REQUIRED MONTHLY ODOMETER READING AND POLICY NUMBER. PREVIOUSLY IT HAD SEEMED TO BE FLAWED CAUSING STRESS NOT KNOWING IF I WAS STILL INSURED.
SHE WAS PROFESSIONAL, WELL VERSED IN THE PROCESS, AS WELL AS A PERFECT SPEAKER TO SAY NOTHING OF BEING PATIENT!!!😉
TODAY,07-31-26, I WAS SEEKING FURTHER CONFERMATION IN THE TRANMISSION PROCESS. THERE WAS A SURPRISING MALFUNCTION IN THE TELEPHONE SYSTEM. I KEPT MAKING ALL EFFORTS TO GET THROUGH TO SOMEONE TO HELP ME OUT AND THAT IS WHEN I ENCOUNTERED HEATHER!!!! SHE WAS IN MARKETING. NO MATTER AS SHE WAS ALTOGETHER IN TUNE WITH ME AND READ THE NOTES OF THE PREVIOUS DAY WITH JENNIFER. HEATHER WAS ALSO WELL VERSED IN THE RESOLUTION AND WAS SO LIGHT AND CHEERY AS WELL AS PATIENT!!! I AM CERTAIN SHE HAD A GREAT SMILE TO MATCH HER PROFESSIONALISM.
THESE TWO LADIES MADE MY DAYS.

I AM GREATLY IMPRESSED AND CONVINCED THEY ARE A MAJOR ASSET FOR "MILEAUTO" INSURANCE COMPANY. THEY EARNED AND DESERVE RECOGNITION FOR THE STARS THEY MAKE SHINE FOR THE COMPANY. GOD, BLESS THEM BOTH AND "MILEAUTO" INS.🫵✌️💋

I had been having an issue making a payment and it was super frustrating so I called in for customer support. The core issue was simply a typo! Which was easily corrected. The thing is though I had missed the typo but the support agent spotted the typo almost immediately. Calling for support is often time consuming and sometimes less than supportive, it was a pleasantly QUICK and ACCURATE and even personable support agent. 5 outta 5!

Ian did a great job filing my claim and explaining everything to me. I appreciated the way he handled it very well.

Ian is definitely a great customer service representative! He was a great speaker and kept the conversation going when his computer was loading !

I've been very happy with Mile Auto's customer service until today.
The representative who didn't introduce himself wasn't helpful and rude and hang up on me.

According to Mile autos “highest support member” who allegedly makes all the rules. I’d say this company isn’t worth time or interest.

I’m highly dissatisfied with the customer service which is virtually non existent. Moreover at the implication of retaliation for having personally disagreed with your “highest support manager” very unprofessional.
