Metalbird started as a New Zealand based street art project in 2009. Industrial designer, Phil Walters, created and installed beautiful, iconic, life-like bird silhouettes for no other reason than to surprise, delight and intrigue. Once people saw them, they wanted Metalbirds of their own. Born in New Zealand now made right here in Britain!

Outstanding service
We sent the fantail as a gift to someone we had been working with in the UK for some years and she was delighted with it. Excellent service, easy to use website - very professional all round. Will definitely use again. A great to share a small piece of NZ with the world.

Excellent Company to deal with. Customer Service exemplary when assisting me and going out of their way when not obliged got do so. Really recommend the garden birds. I have had many a passer-by admire the ones I have. Can't wait for my next one. Wonder what it's going to be?

Purchased as a gift

The Bluetit Metalbird was purchased as a Birthday gift for my Daughter. It looks wonderful in her tree, viewable from her kitchen window. Beautifully packaged and arrived promptly. My Daughter loves it.

Hummingbird Heaven
Wow. What an exquisite Hummingbird. A total work of art. He is going in my garden bar to remind me of my holidays in America with my mom and dad. Precious memories every time I look at him. Thank you so much Metalbird.
