Sizing is off but nice quality
I am very annoyed to be charged 11euro of return fees when the website’s sizing guide is clearly inaccurate and their breeches sizing is really off. I wish I read the bad reviews here before ordering because many people seem to agree.
The description stated that my breeches “size as usual” and advised to take one’s regular size. For reference, I normally wear EU 32 or 34, which corresponds to XXS in most brands, as I am only 48kg for 1m69. Yet, I had to return both the XXS and the XS! The XS is listed as a 34–36, and I have never even worn 36 in my life, as it is always far too large for me.
It's a shame because the quality seemed nice, customer service answers fast and I received my items quite fast too. But it's been a month I am trying to get those breeches and now they are out of stock in my size.
So I probably will not order again due to this huge sizing issue and return policy unfortunately,

The size charts on each product listing are there as a guide to help customers choose, but unfortunately cannot account for each individual's particular proportions and guarantee a perfect fit every time. We understand that customers may need further assistance or clarification with sizing, which is why our team is always open to offering more personalized recommendations based on body measurements - this helps us get a better idea of a customer's proportions, so we can give advice based on our general experience with each particular model.

This company is fantastic! Their customer service is as amazing as the breeches they produce. I've been riding my entire life and NEVER have Ive been as comfortable in breeches by Maximilian. Their denim leggings are especially legendary; where have you been all my life??

Worst service ever - cheap product
Worst service ever. Ordered three breeches for competition. Two came with the bottom legs not even finished the threads coming out. Apparently it’s Lazer cut but it’s it’s not even straight and the threads are already loose. The white breeches came with stains - when mentioned this they ask to complete some forms and arrange returns etc etc. complete nightmare process, they should do this hassle for you. I didn’t pay over USD550 to deal with nonsense, as well another USD100 import duty!! Not to mention not even a phone call or apology. Horrible experience.

As we have promptly explained over our email communication when you first reached out to us, the laser cut bottom is a feature of the Founder Breeches model designed to reduce bulk and friction under socks and riding boots. Other models, like the Performance you also ordered, do have a more traditional hem but, again, this does not mean that the laser cut bottoms are not finished. As for the loose threads you mention, from what was shown in the pictures you provided these were minimal remains from the finishing of the lateral seams - they can easily be cut at the base without issue, and will not compromise the life and function of the garment in any way, of course.
Our team agreed that the stain present in the White breeches was an unfortunate manufacturing defect, which our team apologised for. They then explained the protocol to send this defective unit back to us, and either receive a replacement or request a refund. This process is of course fully covered by us, as we understand that customers bear no fault in these cases. We will be happy to assist further to complete this claim, if you have any issues with the process.
Finally, in regards to import duties please bear in mind that these are required by the country of destination and we have no control over them, unfortunately. This information is available on several pages on our website and can be consulted at any point before or after purchase - this is so customers can make informed decisions about their orders.
Again, we are sorry to hear that your experience with our store has not been as expected, but please bear in mind that our team has been working to resolve the issue swiftly and according to company protocol.
My honest feedback about the first order from this brand
I ordered clothes, but there were difficulties with the delivery. I wrote to the manager, they answered me very quickly and helped me to solve the situation with the delivery. The order arrived on time. All products are made of very high quality, clothes are comfortable and light, every little thing is thought out! Ammunition for horses is also distinguished by a combination of quality and beauty. Very satisfied with the purchase, thanks to the MAXIMILIAN team

I love my polo shirt
I love my polo shirt! The fabric has a nice stretch without being thin and see-through. The collar is a different material than the rest of the shirt. It is however a little snug, so definitely size up if you have curves!
