Awful experience again, with a heavy and frustrated heart, am writing to leave some feedback.

I wanted to try and get the new RC release today, I was there at the appropriate time, minutes before, but I was placed in a 10 minute queue, then my cart sold out before I could even grab 1.

Frustrating, looking online, there’s already 14 sellers (it hasn’t even been 1 hour since the drop) on UK ebay, selling this at 3 times the price. It’s an absolute joke that you don’t even try to stop scalping and the bots that plague this hobby.

It’s meant to be a fun, enjoyable hobby. Filled with family and friends, but we’re at a point that it causes frustration, disappointed and anxiety several times per year. What an utter shame and failure.

The brand is no longer built on collectibility, but on FOMO and hype.

I would like to know the reasons behind all of these failed drops, from a customer perspective, but you will not get a reliable answer from them.

Anyway, I’m growing more and more frustrated by your company and have started moving towards more customer oriented businesses, that offer more enjoyment and fun, and less stress.

Avoid at all costs if you want to keep your sanity.

Gonna have to spend £200 plus now on Alien Monster High doll because your firewall for scalpers actually prevents normal customers from buying! Fkin joke!

Mattel contacted me with a job offer.
The job consists of giving 40 fake reviews daily. Just by a foto.
The salary was to be paid via a virtual wallet, in bit coins. Avoiding tax payment.
Everything sounds fake and dangerous here.

Because I told the company about thier product and that there 1:43 Mercedes Bezn -AMG GT3 didn't look exactly like the picture Hotwheels Displayed on the courtboard picture 100%. The car doesn't have a Antenna like the picture shown. I also received this car in the mail.I called the company and explained to them that I only received one car. The paperwork should I have received 2 cars. Also the package that the car came in was open ,and the tape that goes on the package had White wrapping paper on . The company got made at me because the person that shipped the package to me was very dishonest I told Martell Hotwheels. I sent thier product back to them. As long as we keep buying there product they are going to feel we need them.They need us to help the company say in business. It is time that the customer stick together as 1 and we take our power back from them!!!!

Einer der Unternehmen die sich als wichtig fühlen aber genauso ein Dreck in der Welt wert sind wie Hundekot. Bleibt in den USA und verarscht die Leute dort.

I’d do less but screw them. They delivered one of two parcels so I dispute with them and their delivery company DAI and the delivery company close my enquiry before allowing me to dispute saying they’ll ‘investigate’ when we all know that’s a load of shit. Mattel then tell me they’ve delivered it and the matters closed when they’ve only delivered one of two orders I’ve sent. Absurd and pathetic. Mattel get your shit together.

Für gewisse Waren zu kaufen, muss man teuere Mitgleidschaften abschließen. Entscheidet man sich dann dazu ein Model zu kaufen, schaut man meistens in die Röhre.
Man kommt auf Wartelisten die später storniert werden.
Serverzusammenbrüche bei begehrten Sachen sind schon fast der Standart.

Das Unternehmen Mattel hat einen Club für Sammler von HotWheel Modellautos.Dort bezahlt man eine Gebühr um exklusive Modelle kaufen zu dürfen.Wenn man Glück hat darf man eines dieser Sondermodelle kaufen.Dann gibt es Vorbestellungen für manche Modelle.Das war Dienstag wieder der Fall, doch leider waren die Europäer eher dran als die amerikanischen Sammler.Daher wurden fast allen europäischen Sammlern die Vorbestellungen im Nachhinein gestrichen/storniert.ganz dreiste Firmen Politik hat der Verein :-(

I had her in my cart and was going to get her, but they told me they don't take Discover cards, but the week before they let me buy Elvira 😒, so by the time I got the new CC info in, they told me she sold out!!! So I didn't get Emily. So I had her in my cart they should have let me have a minute to get her!

Trashy! Mattel is the worst company yo buy from— particularly Monster High dolls. They do countdowns for dolls online, and the second they are available, you get one in your cart and literally in less than a minutes time they sell out. It makes no sense and it’s happened about 5 times now with different items. This company is nothing but a scalpers paradise and click-bait trash. Stay away from Mattel. 🤡🌎

Hätten versucht ein Produkt zu bekommen- das war eine Frechheit!

They’re not very good. Email them and they reply with gibberish. Escalated to CEO. Doesn’t reply. Useless. Went to Amex and did a charge back. End of story. If you want to sort your problem send them a complaint and then submit that as evidence of their poor service. Get your money back. They can reply whenever they like. Move on with life.

For those collector dolls of monster high we’re kind of sick and tired of the gender bend why can’t we get Guy dolls And girl dolls also the Collector dolls look like cheap this is what you get with corporate greed and virtue signaling also I wish that they would bring back the original one monster high G one.

Gane un premio del corte inglés que era una Barbie personalizada de valor de 100€ esto fue el día 21/12/2024 en el mes de febrero recibo un correo de mattel pidiéndome disculpas por la tardanza y que al ser una Barbie personalizada tardaría más pero que la espera merecería la pena , me piden por 3 veces mis datos para mandármela y hablo 3 veces por teléfono con atención al cliente de mattel.
Cuál es mi sorpresa que a primeros de marzo recibo una Barbie con una tarjeta diciéndome que como no había trajes de enfermera me mandaba una Barbie con un look que me gustara, pues no , porque yo he pedido una Barbie personalizada enfermera mi hija y puse caucásica con media melena castaña y hijos verdes y de profesión enfermera, y la muñeca que me mandan tiene el pelo largo y mechas moradas. Escribo de nuevo a mattel diciendo que no estoy de acuerdo para nada con mi pedido que no se adapta ni a las características de mi hija y ni al valor del premio , me contestan que sienten que no sea lo que yo esperaba pero que la caja es del 65 aniversario y me piden disculpas y ya está no he vuelto a saber nada de ellos y eso que les he vuelto a mandar otro correo , pidiendo que después de tanto tiempo de espera merezco algo acorde a mi premio y no una Barbie que en El Corte Inglés con el mismo vestido vale 14,99 y con zapatos negros , la mi tiene unas playeras blancas normales y solo que las piernas son articuladas , me da igual que la caja sea del 65 aniversario , si ni siquiera trae certificado de autenticidad . Espero que me podáis ayudar muchas gracias.

Ordered an item on 24 February 2025 that arrived on 20 March 2025. Item itself was not damaged in transit but was defective.

Mattel Customer Support will not provide a replacement or entertain returning items for a refund as I live in the UK.

It’s appalling Mattel think it’s acceptable to ship a defective item and then provide no aftercare when I’ve spent £98.00 on an item.

Absolute garbage toys now got the barbie vet set for my daughter it was missing pieces and barely went together. This is the last time I buy from Mattell Absolute garbage made in China

Je rejoins la longue liste de mauvais avis. Il n'assume aucunement leur responsabilité de fabricant de produit défectueux. N'hésitez pas à faire des signalements à la DGCCRF, plus on est nombreux, plus cela interpellera les services de la DGCCRF qui ouvrira une enquête sur leurs pratiques.

Abschussrampe von der Monstertruck Bahn ging nach wenigen Minuten schon kaputt. Support von Mattel angeschrieben und nach zwei Tagen eine Antwort erhalten. Ersatzteile können nicht versendet werden, ich soll dem Verkäufer kontaktieren. Das geht besser. Es muss ja nicht gleich eine ganze Bahn ausgetauscht werden, wenn ein Teil defekt ist. Nachhaltigkeit kennt der Hersteller wohl nicht.
