Horrible...spent $400 on a barbie house a couple years ago and they shut down the extra features so it's useless....my kid is so upset she no longer wants to play with them....that house cost a lot for us and for the company to shut it down is horrible....they make plenty of money so it's sad they'd do this to the kids... I mean obviously they don't care about the kids because I'm sure they make plenty of money.....so they made a lot of kids sad for their own profit
Mattel Hot Wheels redline club is a scam and it is crap
I recently had a few friends tell me about the Red line club for Hot Wheels so I joined and my experiences have been complete crap two of the last three times that I tried to purchase an exclusive vehicle their system crashed first one took me to a page telling me to refresh took me out of line or cost me more time either way I did not get the vehicle the second time the capture failed when it asked me to identify a parking meter there was only one picture out of the nine that had a parking me either so I hit it went to submit it wouldn't let me pass through again I had to refresh costing me more time and same result I never got a chance to get the vehicle because of the refresh time their customer service is terrible it takes him over 2 weeks to respond to an email if I could get my money back I would save your money don't buy anything from the Red line club membership or any exclusive crap that they're trying to sell personally I'm burning everything that I have from Hot Wheels when I get home today and I'm tired of their apologetic standardized letters that they give back to you oh we're so sorry this happened we will strive to do better in the future no they won't they're just blowing smoke

Well... I joined red line club... Not knowing there's 100,000 people plus trying to buy limited cars... Haven't managed a single one! Waste of money joining! People use bots etc and buy out all the cars, they're listed on ebay before theyre released....

My son received a power shift raceway for Christmas a part was missing so I messaged Mattel and they apologized and sent us a new one... At no charge to us.... I thought it was gonna be just the part but no it was a whole new raceway... Thank you Mattel!

My son loves CARS and we have 80 pieces of Mc Queen's and friends in a diecast mode and pull back in action for about 8 pieces as it is quite expensive.
Makes him busy for hours of endless fun. Worth the money!!!

Sadly Mattel has a serious problem in sending out product from America to the UK. I paid for a platinum membership to be able to order limited editions in advance. I've spent over $150 now on the membership and one doll. That was back in July. I've received nothing except excuses from Mattel. They have offered a refund as they no longer have the doll, and again to date they have only been able to tell me that their system has an error and can't refund me. It's now November, no doll and no refund. Big waste of money. Case number so that this can be verified is 28690995.

I am highly impressed with the customer service that I received with Mattel when having to deal with buying items missing parts. My daughter used her saved money to purchase a barbie camper, it must have been a returned item, but it was the only one they had since they are discontinued. Her camper came with no accessories, no stickers, just the camper so I contacted them to see if I could purchase the extras. They exceeded my expectations with not only sending her a new one with all of the accessories but providing everything I needed to return the original. They were super fast. They put in a request for the replacement for me Friday 7/17/2020 and we received it today. I've also had to deal with MGA Entertainment, who makes LOL Dolls, due to buying an overly priced LOL house with no directions and s missing piece and that was a headache and a half. Receipts (originals I must add), photos, etc. They never sent me directions but did end up sending me a completely bent cardboard piece that I needed for the $150 house. I will stick to purchasing barbie items forever. Best company I've ever had to deal with. Thank you!

My sons “peloton” isn’t working that he got for Christmas and he’s finally tall enough to use it, so I had called them last week they sent me new petals no charge and that still didn’t fix the problem. I called back and they are just going to send me a check for a full refund. The nicest customer service people ever!! I have already ordered another. Thank you fisher price/Mattel.

I purchased the highly anticipated dia de Los muertos Barbie over the phone and my order was declined a day later. When I called Mattel to see why my order was declined, I found out the lady who placed my order entered the wrong expiration date on my card even though I repeated it to her twice! I updated my card info with Mattel and my order has been stuck as “processing” for over 4 weeks now! I called Mattel several times and they give me the same answer every time. They said they are trying to fix the issue and they admitted the issue is on THEIR end. I called again recently and the lady gave me attitude. She said “ma’am we have told you we are working on it, there is nothing else we can do. You have to wait”.. why the heck does it take over 4 weeks to fix my order?? They said it would take about a week and I’ll get a call back.. never once received a call from them in the past 4 weeks. I don’t think I am ever getting the Barbie. Seems like they’re just waiting for me to give up because they have no idea what they are doing. So ridiculous!!! I stayed up all night waiting for the release of this Barbie and purchased it before it went out of stock.

I am reviewing Mattel.com. Put in an order on 4/2/18, which was wrought with troubles with my gift cards as their website kept malfunctioning and later wrote an email to which they said I would have to call this 800# to get assistance. My order has not moved out of PROCESSING so I wrote them emails for assistance on the order that has never shipped out. Got no help in email other than to write and tell me where to call or write again. Called 800# and guy told me the order was in back order status (like this was it and the end of the phone call), I had to prompt him by saying, 'how long is my ENTIRE order going to be in back order?' (mind you, NO communication from them to let me know this status) He spends a few minutes looking and says he will send an email to the fulfillment house (those that put the orders in the boxes and send them out). He tells me he will ask them to RELEASE the order so that the items that are not in back order status will be sent out. Our phone calls ends with me having to say, 'can you please send me a confirmation email' with an update on my order. Yeh, honestly, I don't expect ANY communication from him (only because I've encountered this kind of poor company structure before) and I will have to babysit this order in hopes of every receiving it. *SIGH*
Items are for July birthdays for my kids but at this rate, I will be surprised if I even receive the items. No faith found here. I am stuck trying to use up the gift cards for this website but after that, I will NEVER purchase from them again, I'll stick with Walmart.com thank you very much.
