No post sale service for faulty product
I was initially advised orders had been delayed with quality assurance issues at the warehouse, and then my order was not one. It arrived faulty 4 weeks ago and I have had no response to my multiple emails via various channels (reply to an email they previously replied to, via Shop, through their website contact form).
So disappointed. I've also noticed their website has a 4.7/5 Trustpilot rating...which coming here I clearly see is not the case with 78% 1 star reviews.

Whatever you do, please don't trust this site. Once you order, you will lose your money and not receive the item. Also as others have said they don't respond to your emails after purchase. You may get a tracking number but it most likely won't work correctly and if you complain by email, you won't get a legitimate answer back, if you get one at all.

Huge delay but NOT a SCAM
First, I FINALLY received my order yesterday! I placed my order December 5th. Originally they said 2-3 weeks. Okay, but 7 weeks later?? Thankfully this was not a gift just something fun to do. On 12/10 they did reach out stating there would be a delay due to going viral but would still arrive by Xmas. 12/28, you’re order will arrive soon and on 1/5 they checked to see if i received my order and then updated my shipping status. 1/25 delivered. Shipping was from China so maybe that was part of the delay too. It was impossible for me to track. I was getting very suspicious this was a scam and was pretty close to calling my cc company to reverse charges. However, I did finally receive my order so I guess not a scam after all. Better communication is needed on their part though to make customers feel comfortable. I haven’t opened the package fully yet but also seems smaller than advertised. Hopefully, it was worth the wait.

Complete Scam
Ordered this item in December with guarantee delivery by Christmas. I have received many emails stating there was an “overwhelming demand” that has put them behind. Contacted them twice with no response. It is the end of January and no contact and no product! Such a scam! And they have a false TrustPilot rating posted on their site 4.7.

Looks like this game would be fun but I can't really say. Placed my order over 2 months ago and still have not received it. I've received an email stating they are experiencing shipping delays due to high demand but this is getting ridiculous. Never again.

I am very disappointed
I am very disappointed. Ordered 3 sets for Christmas gifts on Dec. 18 and received emails saying they were overwhelmed with orders and they were a small family business and that the sets would arrive before New Year's. They did not! Tried to track and got warnings that the page was "suspicious". Do not order from MagnetChess. They finally arrived a few days ago--more than a month later.

Order never received
Second update: company sent me an email in July apologizing again for the order delay and offering me a full refund. Seems they are working hard to make things right. Updating to 3 stars.
Update: order finally showed up after about 7 weeks and countless emails to the company. Received no email correspondence until after I’d received my order. No I’m getting multiple formulaic emails profusely apologizing for the delay and asking how they can help.
Order never received. No response from customer service. Alas, this is another review similar to the hundreds of others. Ordered 3 sets in mid-December and have never received them...and suspect I never will. Live and learn. Guess that is why I should never fall for product ads on social media. Sigh.

Scam - do not buy
3 months of waiting since placing order, very little communication, 1 apology and still no show on the order of 4 sets that were meant to be Christmas presents. TOTAL SCAM, they take your money and don’t fulfill orders. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
Update: another month has passed, no show on my order, no refund, and no further communication from them.
Update 11 April 2026, MagnetChess have been in touch by email and I have replied. Still no indication whatsoever of whether the order is going to be fulfilled or even if they will refund my money. If either happens i will update my review but for now it still stands.
Update 25 Aug 2026, still no magnets, still no refund, countless emails going round in circles asking for order details which I’ve given many times, and to no avail. I reiterate this is a complete scam.

I had seen this product on Insta etc…
I had seen this product on Insta etc and it looked like good fun. I checked the reviews and they were pretty bad but i was prepared to take the risk ‘cause I know there’s a lot of whingey c~nts that expect too much for online purchases!
Yes it took a while to arrive, but that’s expected from bumf~ck China to Aus by ship. The magnet pieces are smaller than they appear on the ads but Maccas etc do the same all the time with their advertising. I saw a review saying you need two bags because the string boundary is too big?…just tie the string into a smaller boundary. I doubt this game would be able to be legally sold in Aus as it’s a definite swallowing hazard for kids and could do a lot of damage. The pieces a very magnetic! Don’t buy if you have kids but otherwise I’m happy with my purchase.

Same story as everyone else. Ordered two games December 8, and as of today, 1/23/26 I have not received them. Don't bother trying to email as they don't respond. Count me in if a class action suit is brought against MagnetChess.
UPDATE: The two games I ordered on 12/8 showed up on 2/30/26! Do Not, I repeat, DO NOT buy this game. For 2 bucks go to any toy store and buy the same magnets and use an old shoe string.

I am very dissapointed about the delivery of this purchase.
I purched magnetchess early december-25 for x-mass present as the add mentioned delivery before x-mass.. it was a x-mass present for my son and it is now late January -26 and the item has still not been delivered.

Ordered on November 18th and still haven’t got my order. Contacted them in December and they said it was on the way. Now I have contacted them twice in the last weeks and no answer. Worst costumer service I have ever experienced.

STILL WAITING.
STILL WAITING.. .I ordered this game on 12/15/2025 and as of today, 01/22/2026, I still have not received my order. Furthermore, I cannot even track my order. Worst of all, I have emailed the company 3 or 4 separate times seeking a status update on my order and I can't even get them to respond to me. Horrible customer service. I would rate them zero stars if I could.
UPDATE: My order finally arrive today, 01/27/26. Haven't played it yet, so can't tell you if it's worth the wait, but at least I did receive it.

The shipping time is terrible. It’s a 6-7 week wait.
Like many I thought it was a scam but after a number of emails I did get them and happy.

Total scam@
Placed an order for 3 sets on Jan 2. Receiving emails about delays,overwhelmed with orders, a small family business etc. Total BS. They can't fill orders yet are still advertising. Emailed customer service numerous times with no response. Tracking number receive an error message or no such number. Contacting BBB to report them. At this point,I assume my money is gone. Deserves negative Stars!

Never received my order from Dec 8!!
I ordered two sets of the Magnetchess "game" on Dec 8 2025 and as of Jan 21 2026 I still have not received them. I received an email saying it was shipped, but it never came. I sent two messages through their "Contact Us" link and received no reply. I replied to an email and told them I want a refund, but no reply. The link to see your order/shipping status takes you to a "this site does not exist" page. TOTAL SCAM!!
