Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. From baking and decorating, to carefully loading orders onto our own fleet of dedicated drivers, every step is designed to make sure each delivery is as special as it should be. Our customer service team is always on hand to help with enquiries, and the occasional problem!

Mini cupcakes are delicious
We purchased mini cupcakes for our daughter’s birthday and selected three different flavors. Each flavor was distinct, unique, and absolutely delicious. We especially appreciated the offer of two complimentary cupcakes with the purchase of ten, which was a lovely added bonus.

Collection fine but bad cake
Collection service was fine but the cake was tasteless, barely any sponge it was densely covered in a bland cheap tasting chocolate, second try at their larger cakes and second time disappointed. Not good quality taste or ingredients unfortunately

I ordered a birthday cake for my partner. The cake was beautiful but not fresh at all.
We had to bin the cake next day after taking pictures unfortunately.
It was very disappointing!

I am very sorry for the disappointment experienced on this occasion with your order of the Vanilla Cake with photo image.
I can assure you all orders are freshly baked and prepared for the date of delivery/collection. We never premake, store or freeze our cakes.
Orders are kept chilled until collection, or if a home delivery, orders are delivered in our refrigerated vans. We do recommend cakes are allowed to come up to room temperature for a few hours before serving to ensure the cake is served at its best.

I am sorry to hear that your Blue Newborn Baby Cake tasted dry and had a blunt taste.
Our bakery takes great care to ensure that all of our cakes are baked fresh specifically for your order using high-quality ingredients to ensure the best experience for our customers.
We do advise to store our cakes in the fridge and to take them out at least 2-3 hours before serving as our products are best served at room temperature. If they are not kept out for long enough this can affect the taste and texture.
I will be sure however to pass your feedback across to the relevant teams and we will monitor if we have any similar feedback from your cake batch.

I am very sorry for the disappointment experienced on this occasion as you found the cake to be too sweet.
This cake is decorated entirely with buttercream icing which is the sweetest tasting icing we offer and can be too sweet for some based on personal preference.
I would like to suggest our cream cheese icing or ganache icing cakes which are a little less sweet in taste due to the nature of these icings.
