Everything was so organised ,from getting on the coach at pickup, driver was so informative, even telling stories and jokes.meals were hot ,good choices portions good.set times,
Trips well organised, and rest stops excellent..scenery amazing.
Entertainment every night ,quizzes ,bingo, staff so helpful and efficient.

Cannot fault lochs & glens for holidays, been on 3 and many more hopefully. Great staff and comfortable coach’s. Highly recommend.

The service in the restaurant was poor and the food only average

Very well organised,hotel excellent staff were wonderful as was the food. Tom our driver was great,very considerate and full of interesting knowledge of the area, always felt safe with his driving 10/10 Tom. Iversnaid Hotel great views and taking the ferry across the loch was great. Hotel rooms very clean with large bathroom. Thank you Lochs & Glens we will be booking again great holiday.

A relaxing break in a beautiful setting, good food and enjoyable entertainment. The trips out were good and we got to see a variety of places with an excellent driver

Being a coach trip, the driver is paramount in providing information relevant to the route and the views on the way. Our driver excelled in this area. Be prepared for rainy weather, in October it gets cold standing waiting. An earlier arrival of the boat across the Loch would have improved the grade.
The accommodation in the hotel was tidy, clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent.
The food was varied, with a Scottish theme at times. Portion sizes were good, and there was always more.
Overall, good value for money.

Tom was an excellent, informative driver and the Inversnaid Hotel was very good. Clean, comfortable room, good food and friendly, hard-working staff. Big Gary, the entertainer on our final night was superb.

Trips were great and our driver very knowledgeable.
Hotel was comfortable with a loch view which was lovely.
Our only gripe was 4 days out of 5 we were last to eat including the night before leaving when we were first to leave

The hotel was cold and dreary and needed a fresh makeover. The booking in system was a complete joke. We had just travelled over 10 hours and had to stand and wait in a cold vestibule for over 20 minutes while the joke of a manager got his act together and booked everyone in individually, not acceptable.

The room lacked basic maintenance and cleaning - 1) The toilet seat was disgusting with brown stains on the underside and round the mountings and was totally loose; 2) The shower door was just hanging from the top, one bottom runner had come off and the other one was missing entirely, and the drainage cover cap was not secure and you ended up kicking the damn thing every time you took a shower; 3) Black mould round soap basket and on floor corners near shower cubicle; 4) Net curtain hanging off on one side; 5) Sticky drink rings on bedside cabinet from previous occupants; 6) Bed cover screwed up and placed on top of wardrobe after first day for some reason; 7) Complimentary soap removed one day and not replaced, no idea why. It was evident that the rooms are never checked and kept up to standard.

The entertainment room was dark and dingy and totally unwelcoming and the entertainment didn't start until 9pm so we didn't bother waiting for it.

Most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating but there was clearly an issue with the manager who I found very unfriendly and rude. The way he spoke to his staff was awful. On several occasions he was seen to be telling some of the waiting staff off in full view of the guests, I don't think I ever saw him smile once. He seemed to have an issue with one waiter who we never saw again and upon enquiring a couple of days later I found out the poor lad had left. The manager had no idea how to treat members of staff and I took a dislike to the man.

My wife and I prefer to sit on our own for meals so I asked the manager before dinner for a table for two of which he said there would be no problem. When we finally got to the restaurant he put us on a table for six - I pointed to a table for two and asked if we could sit there to which he replied 'No, you have to sit here' and couldn't be bothered or made any attempt to see to our needs.

The plus points - The food was excellent and extra portions were always available if wanted. Our driver Marek was top class, extremely friendly and accommodating, he would make a good hotel manager!

Will we be returning to Loch Awe Hotel? Definitely not!

unfortunately i had to cut this holiday short after just one day as my husband was taken ill but from the beginning of being picked up by the coach in the morning to arriving at the hotel was perfect . our driver nathan was extremely helpful.
the hotel and room was lovely as were the staff the manager couldnt do enough to help..
once i decided the best thing to do was get hubby home the reception helped organise taxi to car hire and 9 hrs later were were home . cannot fault this trip hotel or staff

Frendly staff from start to finish

The driver Nathan who looked after us was fantastic. He knew the roads like the back of his hand. If we came across a road closed sign he always new a different route. Nothing was to much trouble for him when making sure we had a good time. I also learnt some new dad jokes. The hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and catering for so many people must have been a nightmare but they made it seem seamless

A very enjoyable trip, with the excellent guidance of John W our driver who went above and beyond with his knowledge of all the places we went to, his driving was really good, always felt safe. Coaches were very comfortable. The Ardgartan Hotel was great, comfortable beds, really good food and very friendly staff. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
